Fantastic experience: I cannot praise Dr John Murphy, Dr Anca and their support team highly enough. I have experienced fantastic customer service and excellent care since I first started treatment. I am currently mid-way through a particular treatment, and when finished I will not be returning to my current dentist of many years standing. I will stick with the Vevay Dental Care team.

Fantastic experience: So delighted to have found this place, Dr Murphy and his staff are so kind and caring. If you're concerned about mercury toxicity, this is the place to go - Dr Murphy has a mercury vapour meter and can actually test the level of mercury vapour in your mouth, so no more debate about whether mercury fillings are toxic, Dr Murphy proves it every single day. He's incredibly thorough, explains everything, and gives you plenty of breaks to rinse. I also saw Dr Anca, who was so speedy replacing my fillings. The best thing was it didn't cost a fortune, they managed to find a way to replace multiple fillings at a very reasonable cost, without resorting to lots of crowns. Thank you Vevay!

Negative experience: Reception staff very friendly. Dentist not very pleasant, got impatient with me as she kept finding sensitive areas of my teeth which resulted in taking breaks. I left mid way through treatment due to her impatience. On arriving home I find myself with one filling missing. Not a very holistic experience.

Fantastic experience: Thanks a million, to Dr Murphy and all the staff at Vevay. I feel so, so much better since I got that filling out. I didn't realize until it was gone, but since I got that filling several years ago I was in a state of constant brain fog. Also recently it cracked and I was developing a thyroid problem and getting worse and more symptoms of mercury poisoning. Best trip to the dentist ever and Dr Murphy has over 20 years experience focusing on amalgam consultations, removal and composite replacement. he's probably the most experienced dentist at this in Ireland, too, since Vevay seem to mostly do this, the first EU country to ban them was 20 years ago (when Dr Murphy obviously read the studies and stopped doing them himself) and Ireland remains the only EU country that hasn't banned them. My quality of life has gone up a lot and I feel great, so thank you very much.

Fantastic experience: As best an experience as is possible for me at a dentist. Ivan and Roisin were beyond patient with me and listened to every squirm and wriggle. I appreciate how they were with me to no end and don’t dread going back which is as good a review as any when coming from me! Thank you both so very much and all the team at Vevay.

Negative experience: I’m sure it’s a great dentist practice but my experience wasn’t great. I went for a PRSI clean and exam, dentist cleaned for about 2 minutes then told me I’d need an X ray and four sessions with a dental hygienist plus another procedure for a filling . I didn’t really think anything of this as they know best and I’m not a dentist. I went to my usual dentist for the same clean and exam and he cleaned all my bottom teeth in one session and I only need one more session for the top row. They also didn’t need an X-ray. It really is criminal taking advantage of customers like this. Will never go again nor recommend this place again

Fantastic experience: I highly recommend Vevay Dental and Dr Murphy. I've had two very good experiences getting treatment from him. He is gentle and kind and I felt at ease, which I find difficult, as I get anxious going to the dentist. He took the time to explain everything that was going on with my teeth and what he planned to do. I had no discomfort or pain during or after the treatment. All of the staff are friendly and helpful. They create a welcoming, relaxed atmosphere.

Fantastic experience: Excellent dentist. I have been a patient for 2 years now after having lots of bad dentist experiences at other places. Dr. Patel was very passionate about his work! Dr. Wolfe is the new dentist and he is also great, very gentle and conscious to not cause pain. The dental nurses are unbelievably friendly and so helpful. So glad I found this place.

Fantastic experience: I highly recommend The Vevay Dental clinic. The entire staff are friendly, helpful and efficient. In the past I was extremely anxious and nervous when visiting a dentist. The atmosphere in Dr.John Murphy's surgery is calm and soothing. He puts the patient at ease and explains the procedure clearly and simply. Health and safety are at all times a priority. A definite 5 star recommendation.

Fantastic experience: I couldn’t recommend this dentist enough! The receptionists are so lovely and welcoming as soon as you come in. The dentists are so nice and helpful. I went to the hygienist and I couldn’t of been happier leaving, she explained everything so well and made sure I understood everything she said and was so lovely throughout the treatment and so helpful. Negative experience: My name is Pamela Please please DO NOT put your teeth in Dr John Murphy’s hands it is a decision I regret every single moment of every single day the reason behind that nearly 6 years on I am still in agony and have lost teeth and nerve damage. He assured me that taking all my mercury fillings and replacing them all within a very short time was no problem I have been left in agony ever since constantly in and out of specialists and in constant pain. I cry almost every day. He needs to be stuck off. Please I beg of you there are 100s of excellent dentists out there stay away from him no one deserves to be in the pain I find myself in everyday and will be for the rest of my life.

Positive experience: Vevay dental has been my dentist for years now. I used to have Dr Patel who was lovely. Today I had Dr Ivan Woulfe, and he too was lovely. I want to say it was a great experience, for a dental exam.

Fantastic experience: An excellent practice throughout - from reception to dentists. I am a chiropractor and see first hand, every day, the damage that old amalgam fillings can do to the neurological and, as a result, the musculoskeletal system. The team at Vevay Dental get this and do an excellent job especially with amalgam replacement.

Fantastic experience: I had my amalgam fillings replaced by Dr. John Murphy. It was a delight to be under his care. He is a kind, caring and extremely professional dentist. I feel so much better without the amalgam. He fixed my bite and my mouth doesn't even feel like I have fillings any more. He uses the latest technology in safe amalgam removal. We are so lucky to have a dentist so dedicated to making a difference in the lives and health of Irish people. He and his team are great to deal with and are all about being in service to others. Fantastic experience: I have been a patient of both John and Mihir and both have shown that they're worth the long trip from Dublin. My usual dentist is very good and qualified but these guys are a level above! They see and talk about what most dentists neglect.

Fantastic experience: Highly recommend Vevay Dental. Very professional welcoming practice, always service with a smile from Renate and Dervla at front of house. I visit Catherine the hygienist a few times a year, she is so good at her job, imagine not dreading going to a hygienist when your gum care requires regular oversight, Catherine has it sussed! Have been with Dr Patel recently too an expert in his field and very personable in his approach. And then there’s the boss man Dr Murphy so unassuming with a gentle professional approach, highly regarded by all. Excellent staff retention which always indicates the team are happy in their jobs. This vibe carries through to their customer service. Opening hours suit me well too, I generally get an 8am appointment before work. Thank you Vevay Dental keep up the great work.

Fantastic experience: The most qualified professionals with excellent service and care. Vevay Dental Centre is one of the very few places in the country that is specialised in mercury filling removals. Dr. Murphy uses the safest protocol and educate patients. I'm very happy how all the staff treated me starting with reception that helped me feel welcome to the practice. Then when I met the rest of the team I was 100% sure that I was in the right place. Fantastic experience: I have had my teeth cleaned, my mercury fillings removed and teeth extracted here. I have been a patient of both Dr. Murphy, Dr. Patel and Catherine the hygienist for many years. All of my experiences have been extremely positive! Fantastic experience: I've never met a dentist that could understand me more than Dr. Murphy. He was amazing with the treatment and so knowledgeable. I'm a very nervous patient and Dr. Murphy helped me overcome my fear. I highly recommend Vevay Dental Clinic. All the staff super helpful and welcoming. Fantastic experience: I am an auto immune specialist and have been sending clients to Dr.Murphy for safe mercury filling replacement for the last 3 years. His work is outstanding and it's a load of my mind to have a genuine professional available to do this critically important work. The photo is of an MS client of mine who traveled from Romania to have one filling replaced. Alina's brain fog and dizziness greatly improved within 48 hours of the replacement. No side effects of any description were experienced.
