Manor Mills Medical, Centric Health: Reviews
Negative experience: Receptionists and Dr. Kelleher leave much to be desired. I will be sad to stop seeing Dr. Patel and the nurse phlebotomist after many years. The rest of the office is a complete let down. Spare yourself the disappointment and money.
Negative experience: Running a scam !! They will force you to book an appointment 2-3 months im advance by saying you will be sent am SMS reminder for the appointment . All you get is an SMS on the day of the appointment that you have to pay for DNA. They are earning hard earned money through this scam !! Please beware of this practice .
Positive experience: I usually attend Dr. Patel, he takes his time and listens. Takes everything seriously. The receptionists I find to be excellent and always respond to my emails. Dr. Kelleher was amazing when it came to HRT. In fact, many of my previous symptoms were related to menopause. Getting harder now to get an appointment. 6 week wait for bloods, they need another nurse perhaps.
Negative experience: I had gone to Prima Care to discuss my blood test report with the doctor, not for the checkup but before meeting the doctor receptionist started asking for the fees. She charged me 65 euro which I did not like at all. Last time discuss the blood test report with doctor was 40euro.I tried to explain her but she didn’t listen. She charged me the full fees. It is a new way of earning money. Not recommended. Today I had an appointment for blood test in primary care. Tania who is the manager was going to the reception area and she saw me standing at the door but she ignored me and went to the receptionist and did not even open the door. I even rang the bell and I kept waiting. No one opened the door for 5 minutes. On the second bell the door opened while it was written there to press bell once. Then I went inside and the receptionist said pay the fees before going inside. I said I have done it online, then she said I will check it. Those two receptionists and manager Tania did not seem right at all to me which meant that the blood test result should be discussed with the doctor they charge full fee (€70) tfor this also, they have increased the price, but doctor Patel is nice
Negative experience: IF I COULD GIVE - 0 STAR I WOULD. I SCHEDULE AN APPOIMENT WITH DR PATEL (WHICH IS A GOOD DOCTOR) THIS NOT ABOUT HIM.. THIS IS ABOUT THE TWO RECEPTIONIST LADIES GHAT I WILL GET THEIRS NAMES SO I CAN WRITE DOWN HERE..BUT I COULDNT GO TO THAT APPOIMENT FOR EMERGENCY REASON I TRIED TO CONTACT THEM TO CANCEL IT BUT NOBODY ANSWERED THE PHONE LIKE ALWAYS! TODAY I WENT FOR MY APPOIMENT THAT I RESCHEDULE AND WHEN I GOT THE CLINIC THE TWO RECEPTIONIST LADIES JUST CALLED MY NAME NO GOOD AFTERNOON, NOTHING JUST TOLD ME WE NEED TO CHARGE YOU UP FRONT €60e THATS OK I KNOW THATS THE COST TO SEE THE DOCTOR BUT THEN AFTER THEY TOLD ME WE NEED TO CHARGE YOU €30e FOR THE APPOIMENT THAT YOU DIDNT SHOW UP.. I TRIED TO EXPLAIN THAT I CALLED FOR THE CANCELLATION BUT NOBODY ANSWERED THE PHONE... THEY TOLD ME I DIDNT SEND AN EMAIL... WHY THEY DIDNT CALL THE MISSED CALL FROM THEIR PHONES ? THATS A HEALTH CLINIC... THOSE TWO LADIES IN THE RECEPTION ARE THE WORSE LADIES TO BE WORKING IN A FIELD LIKE THIS.I JUST LEFT THE CLINIC... I WILL MAKE A FORMAL COMPLAINT CAUSE THEY JUST DONT KNOW WHAT PEOPLE ARE GOING TROUGH .I WILL CONTACT DR MAURICE COX THE CEO OF CENTRIC HEALTH. AND IF PEOPLE THAT HAS A PROBLEM WITH THIS CLINIC SHOULD REPORT DIRECTLY TO HIM AS WELL SO HE KNOWS HOW THE RECEPTIONIST TREATS PATIENTS.
Negative experience: I booked an appointment today and rescheduled for later as I was aware I may be late, during the phone call there was no indication or information shared about the new policy to which you where required to be there no less than 5 minutes later that your appointment time. On top of that theres is a cancellation fee of 10euro. When I arrived at the practice the receptionist was rude and presumptious of my needs and proceeded to state that there where others in need of more time than I was and even though the practice was empty still refused to allow me a couple of minutes to chat with the doctor. There is no phone consults available either which is ridiculous. As a whole I am completely dissatisfied with mt experience today as I have attended this practice for quite some time and the only issues i ever had was waiting 30 minutes after showing up 10 minutes early for my appointments. I feel as though this medical centre has degraded massively. Would not recommend.
Negative experience: Misdiagnosed and removed the gallbladder and was told I do not need a gallbladder, which is ridiculously stupid, you do not need something you are born with? Something that is vitally important and need for digestive system to work and to absorb nutrition and vitamins,.Best advice would be to stay away from the quacks
Negative experience: I had an on going issues as a was charge wrongfully for a birth control consultation I sent emails about this but never got a reply. I sent another email today about the matter and the receptionist rang me shouting down the phone at me and would not let me respond to anything she had said, she then ended the call with "come in and get your refund thank you and hang up the phone call" I am requesting the call from the practice as they are all recorded. If anyone is between the age of 17 to 31 and looking for advice about birth control your consultation is free along with medication and repeat prescription up until the day before your 32 birthday. The doctors in this practice are all loving but unfortunately the head receptionist let's the hole team down. I am genuinely hesitate to attend this practice again as the way in which I was spoken to has effected my mental health. I will be making an official complaint with the practice manager
Negative experience: Dr Patel is a very good doctor. The administration is not professional and not polite. The receptionist forgot to inform me that my appointment was cancelled. When finally I've got a second appointment and run with my kid to met the doctor, I've been told that my appointment was cancelled for the second time. The receptionist told me that if I don't like it I should find another GP!!!
Positive experience: Good medical care and other medical services available out side of GP care.
Fantastic experience: Dr. Mohammed Patel is the best doctor. He listens in patience. He treats his patients adequately that how a doctor is supposed to do. The nurse is professional and lovely too. Easy to communicate. Love this surgery.
Fantastic experience: I cannot fault this practise at all to be honest , I have had always good experiences here. Big shout out to Dr Patel, Susan the nurse and the reception people- they’re always on the ball and do not get enough credit. Very proactive practise , keep up the good work.
Fantastic experience: Tanya on reception has excellent customer service skills and always so helpful
Negative experience: Terrible center !
Negative experience: Poor customer service. Just called to book an antigen test with EU certificate and the woman on the phone try to book me for a PCR instead, which costs 4 times more. Try and check the latest news about travel restrictions @Manor Mills Medical before giving wrong advice!!! Travel to Portugal only requires Antigen!!
Negative experience: Doctor Patel is great - that’s for sure. Unfortunately the whole practice is a joke. 2 days to wait for phone consultation for 2 year old as they won’t take it in person due to covid. We are moving to another gp - we will miss doctor Patel but we won’t miss how the practice is run. Horrible. Avoid at all cost.
Negative experience: Been with this place ages, not anymore. Rang a few weeks ago for an appointment, was told 10 days for a phone appointment. I didn't want a phone appointment, so I said id be better off going to A&E. I rang a few doctors in clane, and managed to get an appointment the next day.
Fantastic experience: I find this gp fantastic, even though it is hard to get an appointment I am always given advice and options when fully booked which is understandable during this climate. Nicole and nurse Susan are both very friendly and helpful as are the doctors. Very good gp compared to others in the area
Negative experience: This has been the worst practice I have ever attended. I dont even know where to start but each time I attend there is an issue. To even be seen by the doctor is impossible, they are always booked up 2 weeks in advance, the receptionists are so so rude, its just unbelievable how they speak to patients. I would go somewhere else if I could but all doctors are at capacity at the moment.
Negative experience: Doctors are extremely helpful but the lady at the reception is extremely rude and impolite.
Fantastic experience: I dont know why there are such bad reviews here - Dr Kelleher and Dr Patel are exceptional doctors who have always given me the time and have showed genuine concern for me . Also Tanya is a good receptionist, if you think she is rude there are others in maynooth that are way worse
Negative experience: I was awaiting nearly 2 weeks for a call from a doctor for a medical consultation. After those two weeks I didn't receive a callback and I rang back I was told that the doctor rang me twice but the line was "busy". The receptionist then told me they had different number on the file!!! She gave me another appointment and I now have to wait another week for a call from the doctor. The receptionist has absolutely no understanding. At the end of the call she asked me to find a different doctor!!!
Negative experience: Waiting two days now for a doctor to call to schedule a covid test for my son, despite my follow up calls. Even before the pandemic their responsiveness was very poor. They take on too many patients - it's all just about maximizing profits but patient care suffers. We'll be moving to another GP service.
Negative experience: Receptionists who work there should not work in such a place. As for the doctor and mine is Dr. Patel, I am satisfied.
Negative experience: Very rude receptionist, acting like she is more important than a doctor!! asking questions like ''why do you need this medical test or why do u need blood test'' This is a personal information and it's Illegal to ask this questions! Making problems when trying to book a visit or to get prescription. Doctors are even not aware of this. Awful experience with this clinic!
Negative experience: The receptionist's behaviour is very unprofessional, impatient, rude and irresponsible especially for a healthcare clinic! Interesting to see many others have written about the same problem and I see no changes in their approach yet!
Negative experience: Absolute joke. Was misdiagnosed for over a year with epilepsy, when described symptoms to my neurologist she said I could not have explained it any better or clearer, it took for me to have a full on seizure to be informed from the hospital I was epileptic after numerous trips to that doctor I mean nearly twice a month with those issues. And the receptionist tanja is incredibly rude, over aggressive, actually took it upon herself to tell me not to contact the doctor for help while having seizures, she's a RECEPTIONIST she has 0 qualifications to tell patients when they should and should not contact they're doctor not to mention I was overcharged 3 times for only picking up my prescription and I have witnesses to this, I was told the practice would no longer deal with me and that I would have to find a new doctor based on tanjas opinion no investigation no asking what was the issue nothing I was asked to leave after all of that because tanja wasn't happy with me And I will not be leaving this not for love nor money I have contacted a solicitor because that is an absolute joke and it's only scratched the surface. I have found myself a new doctor in kilcock doctor Neville Wilson absolutely brilliant doctor I must say he is fantastic they are worlds apart. Just be careful if you are attending this place it really isn't safe doctor Patel is actually not too bad he's a decent guy, kelleher is not a good doctor at all although bareable and tanja is an absolutely joke of a secretary and of a person.
Negative experience: Doctor Kalagher didn't even prescripts medicines for caughing patient with chest pain, suspected of having the virus, advised the person to isolate for some period but have medical cert for less time, advised all house hold to isolate, but didn't gave certs about that. Jenny from reception doesn't have a clue how to forward an e-mail properly. At least 4 times happend to me and my family members to ring secind and tird time until she forwards our cert or receipt. Either she forgot it as a draft, either she misspelled the e-mail or forgot at all. However doctor Petel is very good and Tanya from reception too. Never had issues with them.
Fantastic experience: We use this GP for three of us: my baby, my husband, and myself. They have been great dealing with a new mother during COVID and navigating vaccinations, small injuries, etc. The staff are helpful and kind and try their best to help, even during a pandemic. I do think they have a lot going on and sometimes it takes a while to get an appointment, and wait times are high, but I haven’t been to a GP in Ireland where that wasn’t the case, so this seems like the standard experience and I simply plan around it.
Negative experience: but doctors are good
Negative experience: Not at all nice..... Very rude. Bad experience although the doctors are good.
Fantastic experience: Very nice receptionist, nurse and GP
Negative experience: Reception is very rude , not patient , very careless to do patients records.
Fantastic experience: The staff are great, and i like doctor Mohammed, he pays attention to every detail and support.
Fantastic experience: Busy but polite staff, great doctors, particularly Karen who always listenslistens the never dismisses my concerns
Fantastic experience: Lovely reception staff and great doctors - very happy thank you!
Negative experience: Very hard to get hold of. Don't appear to be open when their website states they are. Oh, and they gave my son the wrong vaccination jabs and didn't bother to mention it.
