Pearls Dental Maynooth

Negative experience: Had to have 3 separate orthodontic treatments instead of 1 because they made an error/s each time. You pay to get Ronan Perry but he doesn’t carry out your treatment, it’s not even qualified orthodontists or dentists doing the work. Have to now go in person to make appointments, presumably got to do with the fact that Ronan Perry is now suspended. A 1.5 year treatment turned into 5 years .Save your money and go elsewhere.

Negative experience: Destroyed my teeth. I got filing in there in 2022 and a few months after the teeth became grey. Then the filling came out right before my holidays, I was looking for urgent filling replacement in Spain and turn out that piece of my teeth came out as well.

Negative experience: Is the clinic closed permanently? We have been trying to reach them past one month. Have been to the clinic on person today but it is closed. The treatment is half way through.

Negative experience: This Clinic is owned by Dr Ronan Perry. He is suspended from practicing by the Dental Council of Ireland in the interest of patient safety. His Treatment coordinator Gosia Goworek helped to support the operation under investigation. She will say anything possible to get your money. Do not trust this clinic or anyone associated with it.

Negative experience: Absolutely terrible level of service. So bad we moved to Boyne and it’s so much better. Complete disrespect for customers and they feel free to change appointments last minute and expect you to adapt or they just cancel last minute

Negative experience: Please research where you can, avoid at all costs. NOT worthy of any stars. Poor patient management&care. Horrific staffing issues and abuse to staff members/ Don't pay staff wages. Dental Council is involved answill see this person's company for its real truth. Good luck.

Negative experience: Word to the wise - check the dental council site regarding orthodontist and owner Dr Ronan Perry, before booking into this clinic.

Negative experience: Made an appointment in January to be told today nearly 2 months later not taking any more consultations. The trouble and inconvenience of getting time of work to get a blasé call a week in advance saying cancelled with no reschedule date possible is appalling service, with no indication of when consultations can start up again. One shouldn't take bookings one cannot fulfill them...

Negative experience: I made my appointment for teeth cleaning back in Nov 2023, they cancelled/rearranged my appointment several times over the course of months. Just not a professional approach. Will not be using them as a dentist going forward. Will be availing of a new dentist.

Negative experience: Did not feel like my communication with their doctor was non-judgmental or professional. Did several fillings here, all poorly finished with the need for follow up appointments which meant taking time off work twice...Found a different doctor in Maynooth and couldn't be happier! My concerns are being addressed with kindness and nobody's rushing me out before making sure everything is ok.

Negative experience: Would not recommend! Wanted to charge me 300e for a chipped front tooth. Close friend of mine got it done for half the price. Disappointing service. Prices are ridiculous.

Fantastic experience: We are very happy with Pearls Dental Clinic and Dr Perry and the whole team. They were at all times friendly and professional. My daughter had Invisalign and my son had braces and they both have really good results. Every appointment ran smoothly and all staff from the reception to the dentists were friendly, informative and very professional at all times. We would highly recommend Pearls to friends & family.

Negative experience: My filling broke,I come there to put new filling they clean my tooth and didn't put new filling because she dont have time now and she say its not emergency and fkn bill was 160e for absolutely nothing. Highly recommend stay away from them they are just taking money make appointments and do absolutely nothing omg I'm so disappointed

Fantastic experience: Both my husband and I had a check up and clean with Dr Rory and his assistant. Very pleasant experience, Dr Rory is gentle and found him very thorough performing an oral cancer screening and perio check of my gums during the exam which not all dentists do. Would definitely recommend. Thumbs up from us!

Fantastic experience: Both myself and my son are attending Pearls Dental House in Maynooth for orthodontics treatment. I would highly recommend Dr.Perry as his knowledge and expertise really put me at ease . Our overall experience has been great with excellent communication and customer care . Both myself and my son have new smiles and are really happy with the final results.

Negative experience: I went here in December and was told I need a wisdom tooth extracted. I was examined by two dentists, got three x-rays and a clean. €270 for that. They made an appointment for today for the extraction and then refused to do it telling me I had to go to my gp to get antibiotics before they could extract the tooth. Either dentist from December could have prescribed antibiotics, Ive got them from dentists before but neither did. I paid €270 and all I get was a clean. Not value for money. Rip off. Im going to write off that money and find a dentist what wont say "if you have a tooth ache go to your doctor".

Fantastic experience: Rory and the team are absolutely amazing. Having had several dentists over the years, I was eager to have a reliable one I could go back to when I needed checkups. Rory always took the time to explain everything to me and make me comfortable. All the staff are great and I couldn't recommend them more!

Fantastic experience: Excellent! I am generally nervous when it comes to dentist appointments and, sadly, have been putting them away time after time because of that and previous not-so-great-experience with dentists in my life. But at Pearls I felt instantly welcomed and at ease, thanks to both staff at the reception desk and also the dentist and nurse themselves. The dentist explained every process of the exam to me and gave me suggestions for options regarding my treatment plan and I also felt I am in good hands and in a friendly environment. I would not had said this before, but I am looking forward to my next appointment at Pearls Maynooth. Thank you.

Negative experience: Had a broken tooth removed here before and they done a great job.Well looked after the first time but unfortunately rang them to book an emergency appointment to have an extraction with a very painful tooth .The secretary was very curt and said the next available date would be two days hence. Had to go elsewhere the pain was too extreme to wait two days

Fantastic experience: Just competed my orthodontic treatment plan at Pearls Maynooth and would highly recommend. From the initial consultation with Dr. Perry to majority of the treatment with the wonderful Gabby I couldn’t be happier with the results. Just over 18 months of clear braces and the finished look is way more than I expected! All of the team are so friendly and accommodating. The appointments are quick and convenient with availability before 9am and after 5pm ideal! Emma & Katie on reception always so helpful and efficient. Thank you Pearls for my new smile

Fantastic experience: Dr Dana Lica was very friendly and professional. I had to get an emergency filling and it was totally painless. Despite it being the last appointment of the day, Dana and her assistant stayed on late to get my filling completed. They did not rush and even did additional treatments. I would highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: I cannot recommend Pearls Dental enough. I constantly encourage my friends and family to use their services as I have never had such a positive experience in a dentistry before. I began my Invisalign journey with Pearls in September of last year, and with every visit I felt reassured, encouraged and supported. I have always feared the dentist however during my time at pearls I began to look forward to my appointments as I was always left feeling happy. The staff are second to none, from the receptionists to the dental nurses and dentists I can not say thank you enough! Every single person I encountered were so genuine and lovely and I will continue to use pearls as my dentist going forward. I am so happy with my new smile and the entire experience has been wonderful. 10/10 would recommend!

Fantastic experience: Amazing service. Have been having awful issues with a back bottom wisdom tooth for quite some time and was referred to oral surgeons by previous dental practitioners. As you can imagine prices quoted to remove via surgery were always ridiculous. Attended Pearl dental in Maynooth and after a thorough examination from Nicole, she was able to remove this tooth herself no problem without having to be referred and I have been pain free for weeks now. She is so efficient at her job. Would highly recommend. Great service, friendly staff and they get the job done.

Negative experience: If I could give no stars I would. I had a very painful abscess on one of my teeth over the weekend and went online to see could I get an appointment,the first practice I came to was Pearl's and I filled in a litany of forms online and booked for 9.15am Tuesday. I of course assumed it was today 17th and so desperate was I for treatment I didn't concentrate enough. I arrived at Pearl's reception at 9.05 am this morning in really terrible pain and announced myself to the reception and the girl said that I didn't have any appointment. I explained I had booked it online and gave her my phone with the details, it was then that I realised my error as did she. I explained the awful pain I was in and asked was there any chance of being seen to, her reply was quite curt and she told me the next available appointment was Tuesday 24th and I said I would have to get it seen to today such was the pain I was in. I know I made an error in booking online but surely a modern practice such as this would have a system for emergencies. Anyway thankfully there are other dental practitioners in Maynooth that "Care" about people. Ken Walsh

Negative experience: I've visited Pearls Dental with badly inflamed tooth. As they don't take walk-ins I had to wait 2 days till appointment (with painful tooth). I had appointment with Dr. Lica and it was terrible experience - I advised of my symptoms and then Dr. Lica advised to do x ray and did general checkup although it was 1 tooth that was inflamed. Anyone who had inflamed tooth knows how sensitive whole tooth becomes - except doctor who didn't seem to know how to treat the issue. At the end, I was referred to "specialist" for root canal (I thought this was something every dentist performs), prescribed with antibiotics and left with even worse pain than before the visit. This is why I wouldn't recommend Pearls Dental Maynooth to anyone - I would advise on looking on other options and clinics.

Fantastic experience: Excellent customer service. Got invisalign braces and went from crooked teeth to straight teeth pain free, no tightening needed, no metal mouth cuts and all in 8months. Felt really taken care of. Great staff and great service

Fantastic experience: Very professional. All of the team in Pearls were very friendly. The care and follow-up were thorough and my Invisalign treatment even finished a little ahead of schedule.

Fantastic experience: Brought our eldest here. She's nervous generally about the dentist but Suzanne in Pearls Dental was great with her altogether now. She piped up in the car on the way home 'daddy, not all dentists are bad just some of them'. Says it all, 5 star service with smiles!
