Negative experience: I can safely say now this was the single worst treatment I have ever received by a medical professional. The 'prosthodontist' assigned to see me could not have cared less, proceeded to declare how better he was than other dental experts in the locale, and joke with his assistant about the pub they went to while I fretted over life decisions (Dr K G I believe). I felt mugged when I left the place and would not recommend the experience if you want to leave with your dignity intact.

Fantastic experience: Been struggling with huge pain for a couple of months and couldn't even find which teeth is my issue as the whole side was in pain. 2 dentists couldnt identity the teeth which is in trouble. So went there for consultation with Greg. X-ray didn't show infection clearly so they run 3d scan which confirmed which teeth was infected. Taken into account all pros and cons the recommendation by Greg was to extract the teeth as there was no issue to save. I rely on his professional opinion and experience as he shown clearly what happens, what are the consequences and what will be the best to do in such a case. That's the best thing you can get from professional.

Fantastic experience: After avoiding dentists' offices for at least 20 years, I recently attended Harcourt Dental Clinic as a crown had fallen out. While there, I decided that I really needed a lot of work done and done now. I ended up with a bridge, 2 extractions and a couple of fillings and couldn't believe, when completed, how painless and (relatively) easy it had been. The difference between now and 20+ years previously, both in the technology and the attitude of the dentist and his nurse, was immense. I would strongly recommend this practice.

Fantastic experience: I was in pain with an abscess on the root of a tooth, supporting a bridge. Greg Creavin helped me 100%. I was accommodated immediately and invited to contact him over a weekend, if needs be. Such a help!

Fantastic experience: I had a root canal done by Greg Creavin and he did a stellar job. The root canal had filled in and was not visible, yet he used a 3D scanner plus xray to plot the path on the canal and opened it up. The procedure was pretty expensive but well worth it. Pleasant guy to deal with.

Fantastic experience: Have attended Harcourt Dental for a number of years. Initially attended Dr Sylvester Dywer who was very pleasant and professional and made attending a dentist not the ordeal it used to be. Am now attending Dr Jennifer Waldron who has followed in the footsteps of Dr Dwyer. I got a crown back in February. Getting the crown was a relatively painless and straight forward procedure but it has been causing me some problems since. But Jenny has done her utmost to get to the bottom of the problem. Excellent after care. Attended Annie O’Connell for most recent checkup in Dr Waldron’s absence, same excellent care and attention Oct 2024 Attended Harcourt Dental for routine checkup, scaling & clean and to replace a filling. Excellent care by Laura Mohan, always hated getting a filling before but this was a painless experience. Very happy with care overall for Harcourt Dental.

Fantastic experience: Both my wife and I have been attending Harcourt Clinic for a number of years and we both could not speak highly enough of the Clinic. They have brought dentistry to a new level. Our first consultation was with Spencer Woolfe and he explained every little procedure in detail. On one occassion I had a tooth extracted and it was out before I realised it. We also had procedures with Greg Craven who again was brilliant and explained everything. We are both presently attending Kevin Gilmore who is very professional in what he does and is so so kind and put you at ease from the moment you walk in the door. Nothing is a problem for him. You are treated with so much kindness the minute you walk into the Clinic by Ali in reception and the rest of the staff and you feel comfortable straight away. I would have no hesitation in recommending Harcourt Clinc to anybody and you will have no fear of going to a dentist ever again having visited.

Fantastic experience: I was referred to Harcourt Dental by my dentist to see a periodontist/prosthodontist. To say it was the single best decision I have ever made is an understatement. I had to have extensive work done. From my first point of contact with Ali at reception right through to Spencer, Kevin & their amazingly capable aides Aoife & Lorraine these people are astounding. After lengthy informative consultations I was given a very transparent treatment plan. It is very evident patient care is paramount in the clinic, the team are efficient, kind, knowledgeable, considerate & patient (in my case they needed bucket loads), their confidence made me completely at ease and their skill, talent & expertise far exceeded my expectations. I genuinely couldn’t speak highly enough about this clinic.

Negative experience: Frustrating to pay €45 for a 2 minute conversation which repeated what I knew and requested for over the phone (more antibiotics) as I’d been in the month previous. Could’ve done a full check up for that price, money grabbing practice is the impression left which is disappointing for a wealthy part of Dublin.

Fantastic experience: How many people can say that it is a pleasure to attend their Dental Surgery. As a client attending The Harcourt Dental Clinic, I, most certainly, can. I have been a patient there since I was a child, going back to its Founder, old Mr. Woolfe. I am presently attending Dr. Lorna Mohan, who is outstanding and always manages to FIND A WAY. Just last week she re- stored a tooth which I really thought was beyond redemption. Between her amazing skills and the Clinics ongoing investment in the most up to date equipment, you can relax in the knowledge that "All will be well". I wouldn't dream of changing from Harcourt. Fantastic experience: What can I say, except I have no more pain. I had an appointment 6 days ago with the endodontist Greg Creavin, for a root canal procedure, my own dentist could not complete. It was the upper back molar which had been causing me so much pain, swelling around the sinus bone on my face and into my ear. This had been ongoing since June 2023 and despite my own dentist saying there was no sign of infection from x-rays I knew it was infected. Antibiotics did nothing and I was at my wits end, so much so that I thought I was going mad when the GP said it was a dental problem and the dentist said it was a GP problem. Harcourt dental was recommended to me by a medical malpractice solicitor of all people and so I made the appointment. I have never been so glad I did. Greg was incredible, he got to the root of the problem if you pardon the pun, it was indeed badly infected. He cleaned out all 4 canals and filled the tooth after root canal was complete, I haven't looked back. He is definitely worth visiting and I encourage anyone who's in need of root canal to visit, he is definitely worth the money even if root canal is pricey in this country. Fantastic experience: I had the pleasure to attend Dr. Lorna Mohan recently for an extraction at Harcourt Dental Clinic. Which I wasn't looking forward to... but I can honestly say Lorna is by far the best Dentist I have ever been with. The process was so professionaly carried out with care and attention to detail. I have had numerous extractions over the years but never have seen skill like this before. Fantastic experience: I had an appointment at Harcourt Dental clinic on January 22nd 2024. My first point of contact was with the receptionist Ali whom was very friendly and professional. My appointment was with Dr Lorna Mohan and her assistant (forget to ask her name,apologies). I found both extremely friendly and Dr Lorna explained every step of my procedure in detail and gave me options and time to review. I would be very happy to visit Harcourt in future and would have no problem recommending the clinic to other people based on my experience

Fantastic experience: I attended Harcourt Dental Clinic as I was having some problems with one of my teeth. I was examined by one of the dentists Greg who quickly discovered that I needed root canal. I found Greg to be very pleasant. He had a very calming manor and he made me feel totally comfortable. Greg was very professional and the whole procedure was pain free. The following day the problems I was having with my tooth seems to be resolved as the sensation has completely gone away. I have no hesitation in recommending Harcourt Dental Clinic or indeed Greg for the fantastic service I received. I would score the clinic 10 out of 10 in every area of service. Thank you. Fantastic experience: I thought I would never say this for a dentist visit, but each time I go here the experience is very pleasant. All the staff are very professional and helpful and dr. Kevin Gilmore is just brilliant. I still have a few visits before everything is done, but I am now actually calm and relaxed when seeing a dentist. Harcourt Clinic definitely gets my highest recommendations. Edit - July 2023 - still the best!

Negative experience: Never in my life going there again. EDIT: My review is solely not because I missed the appointment, it is somehow my mistake. But the overall experience has been extremely awful: 1. I had excruciating pain but the receptionist was so casual with it on 5th July saying they simply don’t have any appointment until 12 July at 12:00 and took 15€ as “appointment fee”. Never in my life anywhere in the world I paid appointment fee to book slot at any clinic or hospital. 2. Behaviour of receptionist was extremely casual that she noted my number wrong and didn’t even bother to check it by calling me on my phone or using my email ID informed me about change in my agreed slot. 3. Finally I called the clinic on 11th July and person on phone first altogether refused to accept that I have ever had any appointment at that clinic. It took her 5-10mins to figure out that I actually had an appointment and that is supposed to be at 8:30 which is totally an inconvenient slot for someone living 23KM away. 4. Even on my way i informed the receptionist that I am on my way but I can be late due to traffic which was exceptionally high this morning. 5. Reached clinic around 8:50 just to have clearcut refusal that I can’t be seen now since I am late. I mean, dentist does not even have 2 mins to see the infection? 6. Got generous offer from the receptionist who told me that you need to pay another 15Euros for another appointment of her chosen slot on friday! Which I had to politely refuse. There has to be a difference between dental clinic and a beauty parlour or barbershop off-course. Because the patient sometimes cant wait because of pain. But the receptionist lady is too professional to understand that!! In parallel world, Doctors always have 5-10 min free slot in between appointments for someone in emergency. That one star is for the above mentioned casual behaviour!

Fantastic experience: I’m a seasoned attendee at dental practices for 45 years unfortunately! Left Harcourt Dental feeling taller, smiling (having only had a consultation yet) and full of positivity which I thought wasn’t possible about my disastrous teeth. Dr Spencer Woolfe gave me a sense of not only hope but belief that I didn’t have to accept having teeth that look awful and cause me embarrassment. Anybody who feels there’s no light at the end of the dental tunnel …… this is the place for you 5 all day long. And atmosphere in the building is so relaxed and pleasant as we’re the receptionist and dental nurses I dealt with…. I have nothing but positive vibes for Harcourt Dental following the first of many visits which I genuinely am looking forward to!!

Negative experience: I came for a regular check up, one of the doctors said she wanted to replace the fillings done at a different dentist because they were not performed properly. Fine, I obliged. That was a mistake! Immediately after that, one of the teeth started giving me pulsing pain. I came back, they replace that filling one more time, but it's obvious the nerve is agitated now. Fast forward a couple of months, the tooth dies causing me agonising pain and I go back to perform a root canal treatment and I have to pay again even though the entire ordeal was clearly caused by one of their dentists to begin with.

Fantastic experience: I sincerely recommend Harcourt Dental 100%. All staff were professional and very helpful, both receptionist were welcoming, helpful and professional. My dentist (Dr Ruth Morris) could not have been more professional, helpful, knows exactly what she is doing at her work and educate you what to do from there on. She is someone you could trust 100% to do a good job.Would definitely go back frequently and recommend this practice. THANK YOU GUYS.

Fantastic experience: By far, the best clinic & dentist ever ! Mary is the most personable, friendly & professional dentist I've ever met. She goes above and beyond - she even gave me her personal mobile when my temp veneer was fitted. People still comment on my white teeth 4 years after my wedding... extensive experience and communicates clearly and just makes you feel at ease. Incredibly trustwortht and very caring towards her patient/client. Even let's my little doggy sit in corner in his bed and let's me know if he's sleeping or up and about. The team are super too with a bright and clean reception. I would travel 1000 miles just to have Mary treat me.

Fantastic experience: This place is phenomenonal. An unsuspecting exterior. Once inside, you're greeted by a friendly clerk. Little waiting time. What happened during my appointment was unexpected. They took xrays of my teeth to check for decay you wouldn't see from the top. Photos to show you potential cavities. They (dentist & assistant) were knowledgeable and provided patient-centred care. Negative experience: I explained fully my circumstances to the receptionist and she made an appointment with a periodontist for me. I arrived and was immediately berated by the periodontist and told he can't help me unless I first go to a hygienist and dentist then he will review my situation and see if he can do something. He poked the gum at each tooth and told me to come back in 3 months after seeing the other specialists. He charged his full consultation price of €140 for absolutely nothing more than an ego trip for him and a cursory glance. I was in and out of his rooms in 10 minutes. 9 of which were spent being told off. Would not recommend. They are a money racket.

Fantastic experience: I would not hesitate to recommend this clinic to anyone. I've had complications with dental procedures in the past and I felt the staff here considered these seriously and professionally. I would be a nervous patient and was cared for here with kindness and consideration and I am very pleased with the results. I also found the practice very transparant regarding the pricing of treatment. Dr Gilmore is a credit to his profession - a big thank you to all who looked after me on Thursday.

Fantastic experience: I first went to Spencer Wolfe about eighteen years ago. I had a tricky front tooth removed and replaced with implant. For years it had come between me and my vanity. Spencer changed all that. I am currently attending Spencer again for periodontal/ extraction and bone graft - I’m in the best hands. Any anxiety I may have had has been quelled by Spencer. Fantastic experience: I have dental work that needs to be looked after long term, and Harcourt is hands down the best dental practice I've been to - and I've been to many over the years! Michelle's care and attention to detail have been excellent and she's always so reassuring.

Negative experience: I attended the clinic to have my teeth cleaned by an excellent dental hygienist and was very pleased and impressed with the wonderful quality of service which I received .However ,I was NOT impressed by one of the comments made by the dentist who looked at my teeth .Perhaps telling a potential customer that some of her fillings looked like they belonged "in an antique shop" would appeal to a person with an unusual sense of humour?? I was so surprisd that I reacted by laughing nervously but afterwards I felt that it was a very unkind and rather insulting remark to make.

Fantastic experience: First time questionnaire had question about if patient comfortable or not going to dentist. As I am rather nervous, I really appreciated being asked. Dr. Spencer was very gentle and explained what he was doing step by step. First time I can say I almost enjoyed going to the dentist!

Fantastic experience: Had a complex procedure which involved a number of visits over last 6 months. Each visit for the differing stages was handled very very well and the results are excellent. I am very pleased with the outcome and through it all everyone was extremely helpful and friendly. This is a top class dental practice with everyone on the top of their game.

Negative experience: My tooth filing I wanted white filing, but I got silver filing even without mentioned. Cleaned my teeth there, because COVID so they were using traditional manual way, it was so hard on my teeth with mental tools, after cleaned 2 or 3 weeks later, I found 3 of my teeth were cracked and missed edges. Of course they are not saying is their mistakes. Went back there try to fix my teeth, only got X ray with pictures, that’s it, no fillings done at all, my teeth problem still there. Totally waste my time. Other dentist clinic still using Ultrasound to clean teeth, much better place than here. I’m not going there anymore!

Positive experience: Im satisfied with level of expertise of dantists, however there is some strange, poor schedule planning and administration. I've scheduled one appointment, they said to scheduled another with more specialized dantist before starting to work on a tooth, which was after a week, which was fine, i could wait a week. After that, to resolve the issue with a tooth, i required 2 more visits. But thing is schedule was open only after another 2 weeks, and after that i would have to wait 2-3 more weeks for another one. Are u kidding me? Couldn't you preschedule me right away after first appointments and create a treatment plan, without me trying to find free spot each time?

Fantastic experience: I was referred to get some serious dental work done and the service I received here was stellar. I can be quite anxious with dental work and have had bad experiences in the past but Gregg and his team were absolutely brilliant. No pain and a very caring process from all involved. I would highly recommend Harcourt Dental for any work needed - big or small.

Fantastic experience: I found the Reception staff and dental nurses very pleasant and helpful. My dentist is a very nice man indeed and put me completely at my ease at all stages of my treatment. He really enjoys his work and his good humour is infectious. I would have no hesitation in recommending Harcourt Dental to friends and relations.
