Fantastic experience: I attended the clinic for a cleaning--very lovely, skilled staff offering a great service! I received a full oral exam prior to the cleaning and the cleaning itself was very thorough. Would return for my biannual checkup and would readily recommend the clinic to anyone seeking dental care.

Fantastic experience: Very happy with this dentist! I recently got two old fillings replaced with white ones and never felt any pain or uncomfort during the procedure. Have got better each time I've been there. Great to have them closeby.

Negative experience: I went here for a routine checkup. They told me I needed 6 fillings and said 4 were critical so I said do those 4 for now. In the first session they had my mouth clamped open for so long that my lip split badly (which kept reopening for weeks after). They didn't have the forethought to provide vaseline - very amateur. They showed no diligence while working and were clinking the tools off my enamel. The dentist (Dr.Magdalena Kozicka I think) would bark orders in broken English about where to move my tongue and lean my head. The assistant had her head in the clouds and was not providing suction using the electronic tool so I choked a few times and had to get up myself to spit out the residue without being invited to. She also kept rudely shoving into me as if I was in the way while lying down. I was experiencing strong sensitivity after the first filling which they said was normal. They did not make me aware that this might happen beforehand and also said I should have been taking ibuprofen after the fillings which they did not tell me at the time. I had 2 more fillings done and then things got bad. For the second appointment the dentist was late to the appointment because of traffic...and did not apologise for the delay. Very unprofessional. More reckless drilling and clinking enamel in the second session - acting like I was a test subject. It has now been 2 months since these fillings and my teeth are extremely sensitive and worse than before. I contacted them and they did 2 follow ups where they acted as if I was being unreasonable and actually got frustrated with me as if I had done something wrong. They acted like it was all in my head. They suggested using specific toothpaste for sensitive teeth and basically said get lost. Once they had been paid (€500 in total) they completely lost interest. When I pressed them on my options they said we can 'try again'...meaning rip out the old fillings, chuck them in the bin and try a different type. They said the type they used on me don't work for everyone...why was I only told this at the end??? I still have one filling to get done but I will be going somewhere else for this one and to have the previous fillings fixed. Overall they are unprofessional, incompetent, rude, disinterested and inattentive and I will be making a formal complaint and escalating this matter.

Positive experience: I was disappointed by the tooth whitening experience. There was only one member of staff there who didn't introduce her name or role. I assumed she was a dentist but turns out afterwards that she was a dental technician. Despite the lack of introduction I was offered further procedures which I refused. Overall, I would avoid as there was a certain lack of professionalism.

Negative experience: I got a voucher from Groupon. They first told me to wait, than they gave me an appointment by email. However, 2 hours before the appointment they cancelled it. The reason is that costs of disinfectant and masks wouldn't be covered by the voucher I got. Why should be my concern? And moreover, why are you still on the platform if you don't want your clients to come with voucher? Very unprofessional, considering I had to take half day off and they cancelled so close to the appointment.

Fantastic experience: Had a great experience getting my teeth whitened. The dentist was very knowledgeable and explained everything very clearly, and was very pleasant to deal with. Happy with my results and would definitely recommend!

Negative experience: If I could leave MINUS 5 stars, I would swiftly do so without hesitation to warn you of the horrors I encountered in this unprofessional dental establishment. Asides from poor customer service, they provided me with poor and a far from professional dental service. A clean and polish request has now turned to a perpetual dental problem that has caused me bad breath and more social problems, trying to avoid speaking with people and more anguish. Why a professional couldn't do due diligence and examine my mouth to ensure a safe and well informed procedure, I truly do not know, but that seems to be the norm at this place. From my last dental visit, at a separate practice, the dentist applied anaesthetic to my gums after carrying out an inspection on my mouth, however, here, it was not done. I was cleaning the other part of my teeth I hadn't cleaned in the last practice as it was a long procedure, and they couldn't apply too much anaesthetic too. I couldn't object or ask why as the mouth prop was placed in my mouth already. The whole ordeal of the clean felt like a very rough sand paper was being used to go over my gums as I could feel the entire process. I was clearly in an uncomfortable state, but she carried on to the point where she felt she had used enough time to complete the session. The dentist was the same person who extracted the liquid deposits from my mouth. Normally, it was another person, like an assistant who does this simultaneously. After about 10 minutes, she told me she couldn't go on because it will take more time to clean my teeth as the tartar was hard and I would require anaesthetic to continue on and that cost more. I was thinking to myself, what the hell, so I actually needed it. The pain during the clean was so excruciating, due to the amount of pressure she was applying to remove the tartar, trying to get the work done on time for the next appointment. she said she couldn't apply the anaesthetic now due to another appointment soon and would have to come back. When she finished, I spat out the contents in my mouth, it was unusually bloody, indicatory that there was an injury in my gums. I also noticed a piece of tartar that was attached to a small chunk of gum that looked like it was plucked out of from my gum forcibly with clear remnants of fibres still attached to the other end of the gum. I immediately asked why there was that size gum attached to the tartar that she took out. she immediately proceeded to claim that it was nothing and it is normal. She then went straight to pull out a printed piece of how to paper for a product which she was trying to sell to me as an up-sell. claiming it was a new product that heals gums very well and fast costing about €25-€30. I had no choice but to buy it because I knew there was a wound there somewhere that required what she was selling, I just didn't know where. Fast forward a few months, I am now suffering from bad breathe due to the blood leakage from my gums. I have only recently just noticed that the apparent slit through my gum that is between two of my teeth which separates them isn't just a slit, the gum is actually loose, it isn't attached to my teeth anymore. The gum is just sitting in between my teeth and I can actually raise it up. It is horrible what these people did to me. I will take a picture and upload it here somehow. Actually, when I asked how much it would cost to get my mouth cleaned fully, she said it was €75 for each quarter of my teeth, that is €75 for the bottom right teeth, then bottom left teeth, then top right teeth and then top left teeth. I have more to say, but I've typed a lot. It's not a great feeling coping with bad breath especially when it's forced on you by their sales agenda and feeling how they treated my gums, to the horrible vivid images of my gum ripped out attached, its just horrible. Edit: RESPONSE TO RESPONSE FROM OWNER: I am very sure your best course of action is to attempt to discredit my very serious review by any means. I've attached an image to prove I was unfortunately a customer of yours

Fantastic experience: Brilliant place, went back in after 6 years of avoiding the dreaded chair. Immediately felt at ease, it was a tough cleaning but the dentist was brilliant super reassuring and recommended a follow up treatment which I will be pursuing with same Dentist! Couldn't recommend her any higher :)

Negative experience: Awful! I bought a Groupon voucher and I´ve been trying to book an appointment for 3 weeks. They never pick the call. I e-mailed them also and they never answer! I went there this last Saturday the 23rd September and they were closed at their opening hours (I took a picture)!!! Now I am trying to have a refund of my voucher via Groupon and they said that my 14 days refund period have were gone and they advised me to gift my voucher! What sort of gift is this I ask myself! Terrible service of Dumcondra Dental. How they advertise something on Groupon knowing that they are not going to be able to handle the demand! I still want my money back !

Negative experience: Came for a cleaning and they told me it would be too hard on my enamels. I go to the dentist annually and never been told this. In and out in 10 minutes.
