Negative experience: I was here today, and by mistake (my bad!), I did not realize I was asking the first-floor receptionist for information about the dentist on the second floor. Lord, the tone this lady had! From the moment she understood I was inquiring about the practice upstairs, she was rude and unwelcoming. One of the worst ways to introduce themselves to potential clients from a competing practice. Unbelievable!

I am never worried about being overcharged. Eoin is so knowledgeable and I always trust what he says when diagnosing issues. Fantastic experience: I first attended Smile Design on foot of a recommendation I received and I have since passed on that recommendation to many people. Eoin and Mariola are a great, hard working team. Eoin spotted issues with my teeth that had not been spotted before and would have lead to serious issues without treatment. He is exceptionally thorough and careful in his work and I know I can trust him completely to do a fantastic job. Mariola has gotten me out of serious bother with my teeth. Fantastic experience: I hadn't visited a Dental Surgery for a very long time and I needed a lot of work done. So in October 2022 and on the advice of my husband who was already a client, I decided to make an appointment with Smile Design, North Strand. I was very nervous and not looking forward to the experience of having dental work done, but i needed my smile back. Mariola and Eoin did not disappoint me and they were so professional in their approach , yet so personable and friendly while dealing with me, it took the fear out of it for me , and in fact made it very pleasurable experience. More so when i saw the superb quality of the work they did for me and they really did give me back smile in every way!!! Thank you Mariola and Eoin!

Fantastic experience: I started using smile design around a year ago. Exceptionally friendly staff and top notch dentistry at incredibly reasonable rates. I had a lifelong fear of going to the dentist and used to have a lot of anxiety as an appointment approached. Thanks to Eoin's skillful work and calming manner combined with Mariola's excellent support and super friendly nature this phobia has disappeared. Previously at the dentist I would be so anxious my nails would be digging into the armrest, my heart rate would elevate and I would completely tense up. After coming here for a while, I was so relaxed at one of my appointments that I almost fell asleep in the chair! Thank you Smile Design team!!

Fantastic experience: Frank and I have been attending this clinic in North Strand for approx.10 years. Eoin and Mariola are a great team. Mariola is very friendly, efficient, gives good advice re dental care and has a great sense of humour. She goes out of her way to always accommodate us especially when we have an emergency. We appreciate the phone call we receive from Mariola a day or so before the appointment to confirm this appointment. We always look forward to meeting her. Eoin is very professional and an excellent dentist. He is a very friendly, calm person with a great sense of humour. He explains procedures thoroughly beforehand so you understand what he is going to do, makes you feel relaxed and gives great advice and tips on dental care. Last april, I had trouble with a wisdom tooth and had no choice only to go. I knew Eoin & Mariola through my work & taking residents to appointments. I saw how they were with the residents and knew they were the obvious choice. I shook like a leaf in the chair and Mariola stayed by my side encouraging me all the way. She is amazing, and Eoin is the most gentle and re-assuring person, he is amazing. What a team they make. They truly care about their clients and actually that is too formal a word, they treat you like a friend. I now go to all my scheduled appointments with a happy heart, not a heavy one. Eoin and Mariola are excellent at their jobs, but much more than this, they are also very kind and caring people who are always sympathetic to your situation and will always try their absolute best to prioritize you if you have an emergency, even if they are up to their eyes in work, which they often are. I'm one of those people who has always had an irrational fear of the dentist's chair but Eoin's Zen-like calm and Mariola's warmth and friendliness always put me at ease. I can't speak highly enough of these two lovely people and this practice.

Fantastic experience: I can not recommend this dentist enough!!!! I called (in tears!) to see if they could help me with the most painful toothache I've ever had. I needed root canal treatment. not only did the amazing Mariola move everything around to get me in asap, when Eoin did begin treatment he was so kind and didn't make me feel like I was causing any kind of inconvenience (even though I'm sure I was!!). He then called me later that Saturday evening and again on Sunday evening to make sure I was pain free. I will only go to this dentist from now on. Would definitely give 10 stars if I could

After ignoring dental issues for a number years after a previous bad experience, I visited the North Strand clinic upon a recommendation. Mariola and Eoin are just fantastic. The care and kindness shown is very rarely seen in such practices. Mariola goes above and beyond....she genuinely cares and looks after you like a family member. Eoin is so gentle and goes about his treatments with great professionalism and consideration. Only for the constant reassurance and encouragement from Mariola to regularly attend appointments and follow up on any dental treatments required, I'd been in big trouble with my teeth. I now attend my dental appointments without the worry and fear I once had knowing that I will be looked after and will receive the best dental care out there.

Fantastic experience: Thank you for fixing me, I had situation, my tooth crown fell out, they fix it, put it back and they did it very good. Nurse and doctor were very helpful. I called in morning and nurse told me to come as soon as possible( called 8:30 am, 11 am I was sitting in the chair) thank you one more time, if I will have any problem I will come back

Negative experience: This is the most Disgusting dentist I have ever been to. All they care about is €€cash€€. Every time I attend i ( supposedly) need a " root canal" which never seems to be on a tooth covered by medical card. He used my 2 yearly medical card fillings on the tiniest fillings he could find. When i said i couldn't possibly afford €650 for a root canal he said it would have to come out. But when he realised i didn't have money.... guess what?? He couldn't take it out. So im on a 2 year waiting list to have it removed. Stay as far away from this charlatan. Unless you do t mind being exploited.
