Negative experience: I decided to sleep 24hrs on my experience after Phibsboro dental care, woke up still feeling regretful and with some pain too ‍☠️ Communication with emails in regards to price should be more clear and transparent, instead of surprising people with €45 examination fee on top of other services, common courtesy and all that jazz, I can see I’m not the only person in the reviews who’s been suckered by this, they let me know last second as I’m in the dental chair ‍♂️ As for the dentist the himself, Gaj the South Asian/Desi guy (butcher dentist of New Delhi) before him I’ve never experienced pain during a scale and polish service and I’ve had this service done in many locations around the world in the past, he was so rough and stabbed my gums many times I actually had to get him to stop torturing me halfway through and ask him would he relax because he’s being very rough ‍I like to think I have a high pain threshold but I should not have been moaning, sweating and gripping that dental chair so hard, I definitely upset Gaj to say the least, his attitude became hostile and he kept repeating himself, he was not so rough after I said it too him but he was making some comments about what I said while scraping my teeth which made for an unpleasant experience. As I was leaving he told me he did not like what I said, he told me he never had any complaints before and I told him I never had to complain at the dentist either before, I thanked him, attempted to shake his hand but he refused and had a face like an angry child, I wasn’t gonna leave a review but I felt his behavior really needed to be checked. So here we are Overall poor experience, dental assistant was friendly and polite though Wouldn’t recommend to anyone and won’t return again myself

Fantastic experience: I first came here on the recommendation of a friend over 6 years ago. After having consultations with a few other places I decided to go ahead with Niall and his team. Everything was explained including costs and appointments. Michelle was always so accommodating with appointments to work around me. My braces have been off for 5 years and I have never had a problem with them. I attended today for a general check up and the dentist i saw today was very friendly and made me feel comfortable. 3 of my close friends have also attended here and none of us have any complaints. Would recommend them for braces and dental services.

Fantastic experience: Got 20 teeth composite bonding by the lovely lady Caroline O’Shea I’m absolutely over the moon with my new teeth/look top class job by a patient (as I’m terrified of dentist) expert at her craft thank you so much for my new found confidence ❤️❤️ Deirdre from Finglas

Negative experience: There used to be a great doctor here. Now this new one, she keeps saying "this needs a specialist this needs a specialist" isn't she a doctor

Negative experience: Unfortunately I didn’t have the same glowing experience other reviewers had. The dentist recommended 4 fillings, at the third appointment she changed her mind and decided one needed a root canal, even though she had no new information. She was initially very patient but snapped at me when I was shocked by the price of the root canal saying other dentist change a lot more. I got a second opinion from another dentist at a different practice who said a deep filling had a 50/50 chance of working, which we did and it worked. She didn’t give me this option. There was also dried blood on the rinse sink beside me when I sat up after one of my fillings, there was no reason I would have bled from my treatment and it was dried so must’ve been there when I arrived.

Fantastic experience: Excellent service, polite, professional and to the point. Excellent bedside manner, while still being quick and efficient. P.S haven't a clue what the other reviews are talking about in regards to the receptionist. Very polite and engaging. N.B. if you read this far I've got a cheeky tip that none of the dentists in Ireland will ever tell you! Dublin dental hospital might take you on at literally no cost, I didn't have the money needed for root canal treatment, my dentist in phibsboro knew this and advised me, my only option is to have the affected removed and I would have let them, but a friend begged me to go the dental hospital, I did and was shocked that I was given full treatment with a treatment plan that's still ongoing and for the root canal treatment, had a 5th year graduating student doing the work with experienced supervisors leading the treatment and jumping in when necessary. I saved a tooth and the guts of €1200+. Emergency treatment has the highest chance of being fully free. But given the cost of dental treatment I think anyone reading this is mad if they don't even check it out. Cheatcode is emergency....

Fantastic experience: I'm terrified of dentists. This one makes it bearable and does amazing work to boot. Excellent staff, helpful and kind professionals, I highly recommend them.

Fantastic experience: The dentist Caroline is amazing, really caring and so professional. I have a terrible phobia of getting dental work done due to past experiences. They put my fear at ease and really looking forward to getting my smile back. Everyone working there, the nurses and receptionist is extremely nice and make the experience great.

Fantastic experience: In a panic over a broken tooth. Rang up to see if they could do anything for me. Within five minutes they rang me back to go straight up. Caroline was so reassuring to me. She fixed my tooth for me,it looks great. I'm so happy with her work. So grateful she could look after me!! Thank you so much Caroline.

Negative experience: The dentist I used to see here left. Went to the new dentist and had an awful experience. I've never had a filling without anesthetic (and now I know why...) Two fillings, wasn't offered any, was squirming in the chair. Had a teeth cleaning that was borderline traumatic, dentist did it instead of hygenist and was extremely heavy handed. I was in pain for hours after I got home. To make matters worse, the tooth I originally went in about is still in pain and nothing was done about it. I'm not sure if it's because I was a medical card holder or what but I was told I needed a root canal and wasn't given an x-ray for my sore tooth (previous dentist gave me one in there a few years back) I thought that would be the case seeing as the dentist said he couldn't see an issue even though I'm in a lot of pain with it.

Negative experience: RIPPED OFF. Spent €45 for a "consultation" where they done absolutely nothing apart from tell me to go to another Dentist. This place effectively stole €45 from me. I'd advise anyone to go elsewhere.

Fantastic experience: Doctor Caroline O Shea is an amazing dentist, I wholeheartedly trust her. She is kind, compassionate, gentle & a highly skilled dentist. I always feared the dentist, but not anymore. The dental nurse is very skilled & professional too. The receptionist is friendly & efficient. I've been to this dentist several times & each appointment went smoothly. Doctor O Shea went above & beyond.

Negative experience: Scammers should have read the reviews before going here as other people are complaining about overcharging. Claims that they accept the medical card and then charge you for filling same price as it would be without medical card will be reporting and making an official complaint as these people clearly charging people and the medical card at the same time. I also got a friend to call and ask how much is a filling and if its free with medical card and guess what they said it is free with medical card and when I called dared to tell me lies. Avoid !

Fantastic experience: Great dentist, Caroline is great, very nice person and makes you feel at ease, Highly recommend her, very professional. The girls were very helpful too. Couldn't fault anything if I tried. Will be back!

Negative experience: Visited the clinic for wisdom teeth extraction.. A bad place to go..doctor tried 30mins to do the procedure and nothing happened.. Asked me to go to orthodentist..charged me as well.. I dont recommend this place at all.. Visited a clinic in my home town.. Procedure done in 10mins..

Fantastic experience: Was in surgery this morning, highly recommended this spot . Caroline was my dentist and Orla was her helper, procedure was smooth as it could be and all staff were very Friendly.

Negative experience: Arrogant bossi boots receptionist needs to go back and do a customer relations course, refused my appointment because ide no face mask, even doe i had my scarf rapped around my face, never said anything to the other two people in reception even doe two people are only allowed in at the one time and i was the first in.They will give you a lower and higher price but will always charge the higher, Double jabbed ,boosted 58 year old..honest review

Negative experience: Personally thought this dentist was the best dentist I’ve been to by far until today highly insulted and disappointed as they tried to say when my girlfriend contacted them that I owed them money for an extraction which I already paid for back in 2019 and they refused to treat me again and I was in severe pain I won’t be made out to be a liar or a thief absolutely outrageous and very unprofessional !

Positive experience: Great Dentist, very friendly. Pity about the receptionist. Seems to try overcharge every second person. Telling people what they can and cant have done.
