Fantastic experience: I have been a patient of Tom and Cathy for a few years now and I cannot praise them and their excellent team enough for the great dental care I have received at their hands. They are both very patient with nervous clients and go to a lot of effort to put you at your ease. Mike, Melissa, Natasha and previously Amy are a welcoming and professional team and a pleasure to deal with.

Fantastic experience: Had to get my teeth removed with peridontal disease on the top row. Tom was understanding that i was nervous about removal of teeth and helped me through the procedure step by step. A big thank you to the work he put in to help me as well.

Negative experience: I personally don’t like to leave negative reviews but in this case I feel very disappointed. First, on August 15th I called their “emergency number” because of a broken tooth that happened playing sports and they said they had no availability, so I don’t understand why they call it “emergency number”. I went back after a months for what it was supposed to be one filling, as per the agreement with the reception during my first visit. The doctor insisted to do the 3 teeth at the same time, that is my bad I agreed. I felt numb all the day long. So I felt kind of a confusion and misalignment between the team, very bad communication with clients. Also, today they called me for what it was a “courtesy follow up call” and when I told that my mouthguard is not fitting well on one of the filling, I was told that I could go for a check AT A COST! So for a consequence of their work I have to pay to fix it. I complaint on the phone and I was told they were going to call me back. I received their phone call but I was working but I just don’t trust them anymore. I’d rather pay my old dentist to check and adjust either the mouthguard or the filling. It is not just a matter of money but a matter of trust. On top of all of that, while spending 400€ for the 3 fillings, they also charged me 10€ for the X-Ray that the doctor did on one tooth on its own decision without even asking if I would agree for that. It all really felt like they want to cash the most possible out of me.

Fantastic experience: I had a fantastic experience with Dr. Tom O'Connor. From the moment I walked in, he made me feel completely at ease. His professionalism and expertise as a dentist are top-notch, and he takes the time to explain everything in detail, which really helped calm my nerves. The entire procedure was painless, and the care and attention to detail were exceptional. The clinic is clean, modern, and the staff are friendly and welcoming. If you're looking for a highly skilled and compassionate dentist, I can't recommend Dr. O'Connor enough.

Negative experience: I want to file a complaint. Against this company. Because the workers are not professional in dealing with customers. I waited for an hour. In the end he told me to give me an appointment. In a month, this is not legal. I will tell my family and friends. I will not go to you. Again. Damn you. They talk on the phone and laugh. There is no system in this company. I will never visit you again in my life. In the morning I pay by card and in the evening when I go to them they tell me to give me the money in my hand. They do not accept cards.

Fantastic experience: I came to Tom today for an emergency as I chipped my front tooth and was so anxious about it! I travelled all the way from wexford and I'd travel again! The overall experience was great. Tom reassured me and explained everything to me in detail. Thanks so much for today Tom! I'd highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: Been visiting Dr o Connor for many years now. I cannot speak highly enough in praise of him and the whole team. After visiting a new chain in the town, I really seen how with Dr Tom you're not just a number. He really cares about your health and your comfort when in the chair and out. I never felt pressured or over charged like other chains. He has so much wisdom, talks to you like a true human with honesty . Most important He cared for my dental health in such a professional manner. Despite moving county I will travel up for dental work to this practice. Thanks to you all

Fantastic experience: I recently visited Dun Laoghaire Dental. It was an emergency on my side about my broken molar. It was early in the morning, I was a little bit late due to the traffic on the road. They were comprehensive and the Team super professional. I met the Dr Tom O'Connor and his Team, professional as expected. They fixed my main problem and some caries in a timely manner. It was so a good experience regarding my previous experience with other practitioners. Today, I received a phone call from the team checking if everything was grant. In fact, I a greatly recommend Dun Laoghaire Dental for your needs.

Fantastic experience: Excellent experience-I initially came to Dun Laoghaire Dental as I needed an emergency appointment for a cracked tooth. I was booked in the next day, sent a reminder text prior to the appointment, and I had my tooth sorted within an hour! I have since been back for a filling and cleaning. I am quite nervous about dental appointments but every single member of staff (receptionist, dental assistant Amy and Dr O Connor) made each appointment really great and I will now continue coming here for my teeth as I’ve never felt so comfortable at a dentists! Negative experience: I was offered an early morning cancellation for a routine check-up and cleaning, after which the dentist informed me that I would be needing 2 fillings and asked if I wanted them done then and there. Wanting to get it all done in the one go, I agreed, but then the entire fillings portion of the appointment felt very rushed. I was charged what I felt was a large amount of money for the rushed job that was done, the fillings did not heal properly, and I was afraid to go back and have them fix their mistake, for fear that they would charge me again. I have not been back since.

Positive experience: Brilliant and magical the working they do in that shorty 7 days a week is magnificent surgery when you walk into the clinic see it's all lovely smells very clean environment and the sit down see what you need and they go from there but lovely people just ask for what you need and they will supply it I personally would recommend that clinic to anybody that Dental Clinic so again we need more dental appointments just for family not myself

Fantastic experience: The first time I have actually felt comfortable going to a dentist! The environment is so welcoming from the minute you meet the receptionist through to Tom and his assistants. It made it a great experience and I will be going back again. Highly recommend to all!

Negative experience: The reception staff is very bossy and rude. I bring my nephew for the filling surgery appointment. But when we arrived the reception staff told us our appointment slot had been given to the 'next appointment' person because we late 'ten minutes. He says he is sorry for this, but his manner was cold and unwelcome. Equiviatlent to 'it is done, so be it!' I don't believe any dental clinic do such things that cancel patients appointment because they accidently late 10 minutes. And I don't believe any dental clinic will give a time gap between each appointment only for 10 minutes when they make an appointment schedule.

Fantastic experience: I visited dun Laoghaire for a tooth extraction and all I can say is wow I am a very nervous patient and I let them know before hand and they were amazing the dental nurse really put me at ease, I'd highly recommend this Tom and his team definitely a 5 star service

Fantastic experience: Tom and his team a brilliant, very friendly, started to experience pain on the right side of my face, my top right wisdom tooth was growing at an awkward angle and was cutting the inside of my cheek, got the tooth removed , cleared up in no time, no more pain , in and out !

Negative experience: I had a tooth pain for a couple of months, so I've scheduled an appointment with Dr O'Connor, since I've just moved to Dun Laoghaire. My tooth was hurting at cold. Dr O'Connor took an x-ray of the tooth and recommended better flossing and a toothpaste containing fluoride. The pain at cold kept popping out from time to time. I got back 6 month later for another checkup and again, another xray and nothing was wrong according to the doctor's opinion, even though my tooth was still hurting. Another recommendation for better flossing. After this, I went to an endodontist and after looking at my x-ray they told me I have an infection. After getting a root canal treatment, the pain is gone. The doctor is nice and friendly, but if you need to get your problem fixed, you have better chances somewhere else.

Fantastic experience: my experience with Dun Laoghaire Dental to date has been nothing short of comforting. I have a phobia of the dentist and Dr O'Connor is the first dentist I have returned to for follow up treatments. Dr O'Connor and his team have been very considerate of my phobia and have been incredibly nice and patient with me throughout my visits. I would highly recommend this surgery especially if you are a nervous patient. The entire team will take care of you from start to finish.

Fantastic experience: I hadn't been to any dentist in too long and was very nervous going in. I needn't have worried. I found Dr O'Halloran (and all the staff) very professional and reassuring, and any explanation or advice was clear and straightforward. Most importantly, the treatment itself (a wisdom tooth extraction) was quick and practically pain-free. While I'll never enjoy going to the dentist, I'll happily be a regular here. Next appointment already made.

Negative experience: I went to refix my crown. I had bad experience in dun laoghaire dental. Dr. Tom was not nice n i am not happy with his work after this treatment i m still in pain n some other issues came out. That time i had no pain just my crown came out so went to fix it. He took 90 euro charge for this.

Fantastic experience: Dr .Tom was very pleasant to talk to and he explained everything. Even showing me in a mirror any issues and what made the things an issue. He told me prices before starting anything and asked if I'd like to proceed, which I think all dentists should do. Fully recommend.

Fantastic experience: At 4pm today I was at work, when my tooth flared up to considerable pain. I rang Dr Tom O'Connor's office and Michelle understood that I may need an extraction. It is now 5.45 pm and I am back at my desk, less an infected tooth!! Dr. Tom made it a way less painful process too! Many thanks.

Fantastic experience: I'm a nervous patient and always have been, it's rare I go to the same dentist twice as it's so few and far between appointments that I attend. I will however be returning to Dr o' connor she took the time to explain everything and put me at ease my treatment wasn't complete with one visit but I have no fear of returning, to everyone at Dun Laoghaire Dental you are a great team and thank you. Fantastic experience: I attended Dun Laoghaire dental as I was suffering from worrying and persistent jaw pain. Another practise had frightened me by advising I needed to see specialists and possibly have surgery. Dr. Suzanne O Connor instantly put my mind at ease and explained exactly what was going on and how she was able to help, without involving specialists and excessive treatment plans. Fantastic experience: Great experience with Dr Suzanne O'Connor. Very easy going and really efficient exam clean and polish. Very reasonable pricing and she does not suggest any unnecessary work which I experienced with other dentists before. I will definitely be back
