Dr Martin Vaughan

Negative experience: Went into the dental surgery today to pay q deposit for a filling. Mr Vaughan was rude towards me , because I mentioned I had a scale and polish in another dentist. And he proceeded to lift my headphones off his desk , and tell me he would not be treating me . Because I had a clean and scale with the other dentist. I'm a patient with him. I feel this is a very unprofessional reply , and we should be able to get scale and polish off whatever dentist we please. Had he of waited to let me reply , I was trying to tell him I would stick with him for all my dentist treatments going forward. I'm very taking back and can't believe he had this reaction . So for this reason I'm stating my review on this basis.

Fantastic experience: Best dentist. Beside his amazing dental skills the time management at the surgery is incredible. I have been at the surgery many times and at nearly all appointments he calls us directly in, zero waiting in the waiting room. The waiting room is always empty.

Fantastic experience: Martin is extremely efficient, professional and most importantly, pain free. I had a filling done yesterday with him and I literally did not fill the anaesthetic needle go in! Making use of his time efficiently, whilst the anaesthetic got to work, he also made a night guard for me. His prices are very reasonable and his clinic is literally spotless and everything is in it is very neat and tidy. Highly recommend Martin.

He explains all procedures in great detail, keeping you fully informed all the way, always checks that your ok and asks if you need a break. I would highly recommend him to everyone, but especially to nervous patients who had bad experiences before. I have recommended him to my friends and family over the years, and they were all amazed at his kind caring nature while also remaining professional. He prices all his work fairly. To be honest if he charged double what other dentist charge I’d still go. My kids love going to him. Dr Vaughan thank you for many years of looking after myself and my family.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Vaughan seen me for emerencgy appointment. Prescribed antiboitic for infection and recommended some dental surgeons to do extraction. Nicest dentist i have ever dealt with. Will have my business going forward

Fantastic experience: Dr Vaughan accepted me for emergency dental treatment in the present circumstances where most of the dentists in the area have closed their doors. This in itself was highly valued. He examined the teeth, immediately identifying the issue, took the panoramic X-Ray, followed by a close-up one, and even pointed out a developing dental caries. The treatment itself commenced immediately thereafter, with a local anesthesia followed by extraction of a part of the affected tooth, which was vertically split in half. Throughout the appointment he was very patient and willing to explain every step of the treatment. Contrary to my expectations, he managed to save the tooth. To conclude, I am really happy with the outcome, and thankful for the treatment.

Fantastic experience: Oh my, where do I start? Dr. Vaughan is amazing! My only crown fell off at the beginning of my 10-day vacation during my flight from Chicago to Dublin. The tour I was with happened to be staying the first night just two blocks from Dr. Vaughan's office so I walked down that afternoon to see what could be done. After an examination, I left approximately 30 minutes later with my crown reattached and my heart full of gratitude for Dr. Vaughan's professionalism and kindness.
