Fantastic experience: I completed my braces journey about a year ago. Finn, his team and his practice deserve the 5 stars, as your treatment from start to finish is nothing short of this. I am an adult patient as a working professional. I had a severe overbite, over crowding and general insecurities about my smile. I would rarely show a toothy smile in pictures as it was something I have been self conscious about from a child. I was one of those kids who just fell short marginally for the HSE braces! I did not want to go down the braces route as an adult. I had been to two other orthodontists who said that there was no way they would be able to do anything for me other than your traditional braces. So I decided to get another opinion and never looked back!! Caroline, the lovely receptionist at the practice said at the time “I just know Finn will be able to do something for you! “ and she was right. Two years of Invisalign, designed by the practice and constantly reviewed through self scanning and in clinic appointments, and I finally have the smile and confidence of my dreams, for any adults considering orthodontics, it’s never too late. I could not believe my results and the difference it has made to my overall symmetry in my face! Finn is the utmost professional and always gave me the time during my treatment journey to answer any questions I had along the way. His door is always open even post completing your orthodontic treatment. The dental nurses I mostly dealt with were Amanda and Niamh and always were there to answer any questions on hand and give me some guidance along the way. They were so lovely! If I could give ten stars I would. I’m getting married next year and I can’t wait to show off my smile in the pictures! Thank you ✨

Fantastic experience: I’ve just completed a 3-year orthodontic treatment with clear aligners at SOP. It was absolutely the best investment I’ve put into myself. Dr Finn was great and listened to my concerns from the very beginning. I was very wary of pulling out perfectly healthy teeth and every clinics I’ve visited before have said the treatment would only be possible with the extraction of 4 teeth. Dr Finn and team put together a plan that made my treatment possible with no extraction! And I’m perfectly happy with the results. I’ve been getting compliments on my straight teeth even before my treatment finished. Every concerns I had along the way were addressed swiftly by the team. I had an allergic reaction to a new material and the team immediately switched back to the old material for me. They also took away my attachments upon my request for my wedding. I’d highly recommend SOP to anyone.

The dental monitoring app minimises the number of visits to the clinic and keeps an open channel for any questions or concerns. They always replied quickly and efficiently. Dr Finn and his team are fantastic professionals, kind and trustworthy. They allow to pay a little every month during the treatment with no extra charge. Fully recommended.

Fantastic experience: My 17 year old daughter has been attending SOP for a couple of years and I cannot speak highly enough about the care and attention she has had and continues to have by Finn and his team. We opted to go with the Invisalign option which was ideal during the pandemic as the number of visits to the practice were minimal. The technology was amazing and it was easy to manage it herself while progress was continually monitored by the team at the practice. We are absolutely delighted with the results and I have no hesitation recommending SOP to anybody with orthodontic needs.

Negative experience: I went to the specialist orthodontist practice as I had fallen 20 years ago and had caps on my front teeth. I wanted to go to a specialist to get my teeth straightened correctly before new veneers. I found Finn rude and condescending. I explained to his practice manager how unhappy I was with his manner. He wrote me a letter saying he was was sorry I felt I was treated unfairly… therefore he never apologised or acknowledged how a client was feeling. In my opinion he is an ignorant man on a power trip. I do not recommend this practice.

Fantastic experience: As parents who are paying out hard-earned cash for effective dental orthodontics, we are absolutely thrilled with the outstanding work carried out by Finn and his expert team. Our son has just had his braces removed after 15 months and the results are fantastic - smooth even teeth with no overbite, improved diction and a wonderful smile (ok, the last part is from an admittedly biased mum!). Starting with a warm welcome by Deirdre and Caroline at reception, the informative initial consultation with detailed photos and a rigorous treatment plan, Finn and his team saw our son on a very regular schedule and the up-to-date text communications system meant no late or missed appointments. Thanks to Sandra's focus on dental hygiene which is an integral part of every visit, my son now has life-long amazing dental habits that put the rest of the family to shame. A great outcome for our son and I highly recommend them to other families.

Fantastic experience: I’d like to say thanks so much to Finn for the brilliant way he looked after my daughter last week. He explained everything "orthodontic" very clearly to both of us. I am also very grateful to Finn for encouraging her to make her own decision on whether to go ahead or not, and for not implying that she was in some way unattractive if she decided not to go with braces. Sandra was great at presenting the pros and cons of the various brace options and did not make us feel under pressure in any way either. The practice is located in a bright, airy building and everyone working there was very welcoming, which I am sure helps a lot to calm any pre-dental nerves. I would certainly recommend to other people.
