Fantastic experience: I had an excellent dental experience with Dr. Laura and Kornelija three weeks ago today. They handled a challenging root canal extraction with ease - something other dentists had struggled with. A week earlier, Dr. Amir in Moate left such a positive impression that it ultimately convinced me to choose Truly Dental for the procedure. I wasn’t initially planning to get an implant, but I'm now looking forward to it in a few months - and at a great price. I’ll be going to Truly Dental for all future dental work, and I’ll be recommending them to anyone I know.

All of the staff are so lovely and kind regardless of position and all practitioners talk me through every aspect of the treatment in full detail making sure i understand, and check in on me throughout to make sure im comfortable, can not recommend them enough to people!!

Fantastic experience: Wow! Just wow! My husband had part of his composite bonded front tooth come off on Sunday. We looked at the dentist next door to where we are staying in D8 and the reviews were horrendous. We looked on google and focussed immediately on Dame Street Dental’s reviews - we read many. We rang up and thanks to them being permanently open were able to make an appointment for lunchtime Monday with Dr Ian (with a surname, if you can believe it, that violates policy - apparently). We were happy to pay a 50 euro appointment fee to secure the appointment. We arrived to a very warm welcome and a comfortable waiting area with a Nespresso coffee machine and water cooler. They are also air conditioned! Pleasant on a humid, wet day. Dr Ian and his assistant Sophie were immediately welcoming and friendly and made my husband right at home. The final fee including the €50 deposit was €300. The work Dr Ian performed was top notch. Even the WC at this practice is lovely - ventilated, spacious, toothbrushes and other useful items provided and a full length mirror just outside to re-combobulate oneself after a dental appointment. We are very fussy consumers and have a couple of fabulous dentists in Australia - so it’s a high bar to make us happy - Wouldn’t hesitate to return to this dental centre - literally could not be happier with the result.

Negative experience: I booked a free consultation with them, on this consultation they didn’t say me anything, absolutely, she was just trying to sell me something. After I got a consultation with the orthodontist, it was like 10 minutes, and she just said that she can’t do that, and maybe someone else in hospital will be able to. That’s already -100€. Few weeks later I went to doctor Cem, and it was alright, he seems like a nice doctor, and they gave me price list, and this price list includes deposit. I asked them, before I pay you deposit, which is quite some money, can I see any consent that I will sign with doctor, so I am sure it will be alright with me. I wrote 5 letters and even went there again, they are just trying to avoid the topic, and speak to me like I am stupid or something. I just suggest you to look what precisely what are you signing with them, when you pay money, because I had a lot of questions

Fantastic experience: I recently attended Dame Street Dental due to misaligned teeth. I found a very supportive and friendly staff from the start. Dr Ian is a very professional and knowledgeable dentist. I felt at ease the entire time. He explained everything very clearly, giving all the details and next steps to follow. Fantastic experience: I was here Wednesday for extraction. Amal looked after this. To say he calmed me explained each step and made a very stressful visit for me really easy. The nurse was calming and reassuring so all in all they really looked after me. I also had Composite bonding here last October and they did a phonomal job. If I had one criticism it would be the follow up from bonding is free but they neglect to tell you there is a time limit on that. Small issue but important. Highly highly recommend these dentists.

Negative experience: I had previous treatment done at the clinic that went perfectly, I would highly recommend the clinic. Then, I started to do Orthodontics with Dr. Cem Agul, he provided the braces vs. aligners options. I initially chose braces ( I have documentation to prove this) then I go to the second appointment that I believe where for a "Ortho style arch Bond up" but it was for aligners I was surprised with this information on appointment #3, which basically forced me to choose the most expensive option since the procedures for the second session where paid for. He explain I would go to an appointment on a monthly basis and pay 250€ approximately. Comes session #4 I pay over 1000€ and I ask for my receipts via email as well as a payment breakdown of the process(April). Now is June, I have not received my receipt or payment breakdown and got my appointment cancelled, that I should just go and collect the aligners at a value of 500€+ and whitout support of the doctor. Seriously disappointed when companies break trust by being greedy and not providing acturate support. The phone services cannot provide me with any support until the Dr. Cem Agul is back but they dont know how long that will be. I need answers and the trust in this clinic is shattered. Edit: To continue the disappointing saga of having to carry treatment with this clinic. Went to pick up my aligners today. They were not there, after receiving an email that they would be ready at desk and me calling this morning to confirm. Laughable terrible service. The people at the desk are nice But you don't spend all that money for this. If you have other options , choose those and avoid the pain of dealing with this one.

Fantastic experience: I had been suffering from wisdom tooth-related pain for a long time, but none of the dentists I had seen before were able to identify the cause. That molar had never felt quite right since my mid-20s, but the pain became significantly worse from last September. Dr. Laura O’Dolan however, reached the correct diagnosis in just a matter of minutes. It turned out that my wisdom tooth had partially resorbed the root of the adjacent molar — a condition known as external root resorption. She and Kornelija took all the right steps to make me feel safe, supported, and well cared for. They were both incredibly kind, empathetic, and professional throughout the process. The standards of hygiene were excellent, and the clinic itself is modern and welcoming. I also want to thank the receptionists, who were very friendly and helpful. I’m deeply grateful for the care I received today — thank you so much for relieving such severe pain with such compassion and skill. Monica

Fantastic experience: No waiting for long periods, excellent hygeniest that used a numbing spray on my gums to avoid me feeling any sensitivity, that's a game changer for people with receding gums! A beautiful new surgery open in Tullamore that is bright and cheerful with lovely staff to assist on arrival and departure! Top marks all round!

Positive experience: I’ve been a patient of this practice for years and always had a great experience prior to it being taken over by Truly Dental. Unfortunately, my recent interaction left me disappointed. I called to enquire about seeing the hygienist and was told, rather vaguely, that it would cost “ehm, about €200.” There was no mention of PRSI benefits, which I later learned from another dental practice could reduce the cost significantly. I’m actually entitled to a free check-up and would only need to pay €38 toward the hygienist visit. I think the staff could be more informed and helpful when it comes to advising patients about pricing and entitlements. That said, I’m not giving a lower rating as I had genuinely positive experiences in the past. I hope the service improves under the new management, as I’d love to feel confident returning in the future.

Negative experience: After 4 months I still have not been fitted my final upper teeth I'm am so disappointed and let down by the team and their communication is dreadful no information given I was left waiting 5.5 hours on my last visit not acceptable. Went yesterday to have final teeth fitted again and they did not fit was told they could be some else's teeth. Total incompetence and not what I expected after spending almost 20K and paying the amount in full. I have no idea when I will get the 3rd set of final teeth it's a disgrace . I can't recommend Truly Dental Dame Street I'm not a person to complain but this is so unprofessional.

Fantastic experience: Had to go for an emergency appointment, got one within 2 hours and was able to get the tooth extracted then and there in the appointment instead of coming back. Dr Daniel was great at explaining all the options and with pain management as it was a difficult extraction.

Fantastic experience: I am in the middle of my dental journey with Dr Laura O'Dolan. I cant express how thankful I am to have found Dame St Dental. I have a huge amount of dental work to be done and I am an extremely nervous dental patient. I have never found a dentist that has so completely put me at my ease. Dr Laura and Ralvca her dental nurse were so patient and efficient. I have had absolutely no issues with my implant and have no nerves going back for the remainder of my dental work. The best decision I ever made coming to Dame street Dental and finding Dr Laura. I can't thank Dr Laura, Ralvca and Edward enough.

Negative experience: 0 stars. Awful awful experience for my daughter here. We're VERY skeptical of the volume of positive reviews because we had a nightmare from start to finish. To summarise a very long story, she booked and paid for an emergency appointment, and because the time went over and they were then closing (because they booked in too many 'emergencies’,) she was sent home and told to come back in 4 days, she was in agony. When she finally got an app and got the root canal with the first dentist, she made a mess of it. She went back in 3 weeks later with a horrible infection and in great pain to which the dentist replied, 'oh I'm sorry there are four canals and I forgot to close one of them'. She was then sent away with a prescription that she had to pay for herself, a lot of pain and an app over a month away. Not good enough. I fought to get her an earlier app and eventually had to go into the building to confront the situation. In the intervening time I managed to insist that they do something, they gave her two temporary fillings, both of which promptly fell out the next day. When they suggested another date, (way down the line) they’d tried to put her in with the person who made a mess of it in the first place. Also, incredibly, between these two events they had given her an app (again one I had to fight for) with another dentist who rooted around in her mouth for half an hour and then said 'actually I'm not equipped to do this work, it's too complicated', and off she was sent again, and another battle ensued. I have spent SO much time on the phone to them and have requested repeatedly for managers to contact me just to even apologise and cover her costs for prescription and they have just ignored me. Only one person was a big help and that was Kelsey on reception who did what she could to help when we went in. She put a lot of effort into getting us that final app (which hopefully now is finally done after initially attending and paying in full in February.) My advice - steer very clear of this place, you might be lucky and it goes ok, but some of the dentists don't seem to know what they're doing, make big mistakes, and if there's any kind of error or difficulty, they just don't want to know. So if you do attend, be prepared to fight if it goes wrong in any way. Last thing, because I'm aware they might reply to this and mention it, when they made a mess of it in the first place (her emergency app she’d paid for then they sent her away) they offered a free scale and polish when we complained, but since then there's been error after error after error (and a botched root canal is quite a serious one) and they just don’t want to know at all, also there's no way I would take any treatment from them again free or not, I wouldn’t trust them to brush my teeth never mind anything else.

Fantastic experience: I met with Gail, one of the coordinators, who put me totally at ease and explained everything about the procedures I could possibly have. The dental surgeon Dr Ksenija and her lovely assistant were extremely caring and understanding of my fear of dentists, again making me feel very relaxed and comfortable. Fantastic experience: I was very nervous when I first attended but that didn't last long all the staff are amazing especially Dr Ksenija for her giving me the best smile ever and Maire the best dental nurse. I had a number of treatments done from teeth whiting to crowns, veneers and implants. I couldn't fault anything about truly dental as they cater for all budgets and offer treatment plans.

Negative experience: Update: attached is the private response from Truly Dental. Goes to show the level of professionalism and lack of customer service skills - calling you unmotivated and non-value individual because I missed an appointment due to work and called them out on the irrational fees. How can I be non value to your business when I already paid hundreds of euros? Sometimes life happens and you can't make an appointment. I got stuck at work and missed mine. Fair enough, my fault - but to charge 50 quid for it when it was the first time for this to happen is ludicrous. Charge a tenner or 20, especially when someone genuinely explains their situation and wants to reshcedule and return. Well I am no longer a return client here - this is the kind of money grabbing behaviour should not be allowed in medical care.

Positive experience: Recently used this for an extraction that I needed done quickly. Once past receptions judging attitude the staff were amazing. As someone with a phobia of all dental work I was put at my ease from first meeting Dr Greg to the extraction, which proved to be trickier than others but at no point was I in doubt of their abilities.

Fantastic experience: I highly recommend Dr.Luis Gonzalez! He is extremely professional, and he was so gentle and patient with my child. He had to perform an endodontic procedure that took over 1 hour and 30 minutes, and throughout the entire process, he made sure my child was comfortable and calm. It's rare to find a dentist with such a caring approach. We had a relief experience and I recommend him 100%. Also, The receptionist staff was very friendly, welcoming, and helpful from the moment we walked in. It’s not easy to find a dental office that combines skill, care, and kindness like this one. We had a wonderful experience and will definitely be back. I fully recommend the clinic.

Negative experience: As I type my wife having handed over 20 thousand euro has had thee worse treatment. From start anaesthetic was no good to leaving a tooth in I had to step in and bring my wife home at one stage, today final fit of teeth they messed up again despite saying temporary teeth fitted at 1pm 3hrs later not done absolute con men.Should be final fit of permanent teeth instead it temporary and waiting 3hrs

Fantastic experience: Honestly, hands down, the best dentist I’ve ever been to. From reception to the dental nurse to the dentist, absolutely everybody puts you at ease from the start. Very transparent with pricing and don’t so much as do an xray without telling you the cost. I am extremely extremely nervous after two very traumatic dentist visits and I felt completely understood and all worries melted away. Looking forward to my dental journey now.

Negative experience: Booked in with Dr Ian Han Xiang Kok for a check-up, he mentioned he needed to take X-rays which I was fine with. Dentist mentioned he’d “clean my teeth” brushes them for 3 minutes and proceeds to charge a €120 euro dentist “scale and polish”. I submitted my dental insurance information prior to the appointment but the dentist told me he “doesn’t work with insurance”. Don’t try and upsell patients, clean teeth for 3 minutes and charge an additional €120. Absolutely unprofessional.

Fantastic experience: I recently became a patient of Dr. Mohammed after moving to Dublin. It was my first visit to dental clinic in over a year after having a consistent dental routine before leaving my home country. I knew there was work to be done and I was nervous, but he put me completely at ease at my first appointment. He was very thorough, clear, concise, and put together a treatment plan that addressed my needs. The staff are very friendly and helpful, I would highly recommend considering Dame Street Dental if you’re in need of a new dental clinic.

I would especially recommend Dr Shirin and Dr Contreras as they have both been remarkable in their efforts with me during my treatment.

Dr Daniel is a genius. He extracted my tooth within a few min, the procedure was painless, and neglibible bleeding subsequently. Positive experience: Great facility very clean, really friendly Dentists and staff. My teeth are so straight after just 10 weeks of invisalign. Appointment scheduling is the only issue, can be hard to get an appointment that suits, even a few weeks in advance.
