Negative experience: If I cold give less than 1 star I would.. broke 2 teeth in my sleep and cutting my tongue so rang colm Smith monaghan and had to pay €50 deposit and wait two and a half weeks with my teeth cutting my tongue then this morning after taking a day off work to go to my appointment and I was 5 minutes late they said they took the next appointment and i won't get another appointment today.. terrible service and dont care about customers.. I wont be back

Negative experience: So difficult to make an orthodontic appointment. Emailed number of times . Called the clinic to make it clear and still… They are requiring other dentists letter to confirm that this clinic can go ahead with the braces? What??? X-ray was also provided .And still no effort was done towards to make an appointment. I was hoping that before any job is done, pre assessment will be completed anyway? But no ..So strange in my opinion. I got to another clinic and they were very nice and polite. They did everything to have me there without any letters and stuff.

Negative experience: I have been a client of Colm Smith dentist for 20 years and family longer, the Monaghan enterprise is shocking from receptionists to the dentists, rude to incompetent, I will be changing dentist as I've neglected my teeth rather then go to them.

Negative experience: The female dentist butchered my tooth. Went for check up and was told i had a tiny hole and she would fill it before it gave me bother. Had awful pain after so went back she put a temporary filling in for 2 weeks so sooth the nerves she said. Was even worse so then back again for another filling. Told me if not sorted i'd need a root canal. How does one go from a tiny hole to a root canal. Im in so much pain but not a hope will i let her near my teeth again.. absolutely imcompetent. Stay away.

Negative experience: Good Evening, I am utterly furious at my encounters over the last few months. The dentists are lovely, but the receptionists are obnoxious. no cap. When I call in I feel like I am inconveniencing them with my existence, earlier today I rang due to insufferable, unending tooth pain and the receptionist was not helpful at all, sounding audibly annoyed that I had even called and treated me like a fool. I am know fool. She hath not buttered my parsnips. This is not the first time this has happened. Everytime I go in I feel very unwelcomed and again, like I am bothering them, very sus behaviour. A receptionist by the name of Danika was most unpleasant no cap, whomst i spoke with on the phone today. 0 stars if I COULD.

Fantastic experience: Hi All at Colm Smith Dental, I have been meaning to write this 5 star review for a long time now! I had braces as a child at a different orthodontist and due to their instructions stopped wearing a retainer after the 1 year from removal! Over time, my teeth moved and needed straightening again! From the moment I contacted Colm Smith Dental quite a number of years ago, it has been a pleasure to getting fillings, braces, retainers and the aftercare since. They are always so friendly and helpful. There is never a question that they cannot answer. I have the habit now of retainers at night. I now have perfect teeth and I cannot thank you all in Cootehill and Monaghan enough for your care and attention! Keep up the great work! Vanessa Dunn

Fantastic experience: The Best !!!!♥️ I had big infection in my mouth and very sore tooth i went to lake side dental and they couldint do nothing to me only gived me tablets and antibijotics that didint helped me at all and all they said that i have to wait for newry appointment around 5 to 6 weeks ! so i dicide to not wait and i tried the colm smith all i Can say The Best no need to go to newry they fixed me evrithing !!!! the best dentist i had forgot her name but she is nice and very kindly !!!! 100 Stars for them !!!! ♥️

Negative experience: Very disappointed. Went to the dentist with the toothache. Was told by the dentist that just extra sensitive tooth and recommended to purchase sensitive electrical toothbrushe. What a joke, specially as pain increased in coming weeks. Went to get second opinion, and what, I have to get root canal treatment done. Very disappointed.

Negative experience: The experience at this dental clinic was dissapointing. The dentist was very incompetent, my back tooth had a hole in it, yet after the examination, the dentist did not even notice it, only after I mentioned that there is a hole did she suggest getting a filling. I am a holder of medical card, and prior to booking my visit, I asked whether the clinic accepts the medical card. The answer was "Yes".Under the medical card, you are entitled to 2 free fillings, and in my first visit I was told that my filling will be free, so I agreed to get the filling done. In my 2nd visit, I was told I will have to pay 110 euros for the filling. I will be looking into this issue further. As it stands, the above situation does not sit right with me.
