Fantastic experience: What can I say Ms.cashman has to be one of the best out there. I was having awful trouble with my wisdom teeth and was referred to her for extraction. I was told I would need to be brought into the mater to get the 4 teeth out under general anaesthetic as I am on blood thinners ms.cashman told me I'd be likely in more pain than normally. I was in so much pain and so swollen that I had to ring the out of hours emergency number for the clinic, At the end of the phone I was met with dr.twomey who brought me in that afternoon to check for any complications and continued to ring me over the weekend to check in on me until I could see ms. Cashman on the Monday. What a pleasure it was dealing with the staff in the clinic they were amazing. The service was second to none if someone told me they needed their teeth out, ms.cashman and the staff at Clermont and the mater would be the only people I would recommend. I can't say thank you enough to them for their help.

Negative experience: So so disappointed as I was referred to this “specialist” for a consultation that cos me €250 only to be told after my consultation that my VHI won’t allow me claim on this visit. I’m so so annoyed as I assumed dr Murphy wasn’t “an ordinary dentist” I was even told how he does do “routine dental services” by dr Murphy himself, I am absolutely sick to my stomach he didn’t give me any answers and more so I paid that money for him to tell me “go get some routine dental work done” I’m so disappointed and disgusted

Fantastic experience: Had 2 wisdom teeth out yesterday by Ms Mairead Cashman. I cannot recommend her enough. What a lady, talked me through the whole process so I knew what I was expecting. Very little pain today. Thanks very much to Mairead and her lovely team for their fantastic service.

Negative experience: Unfortunately I really can’t recommend Dr. Eamonn Murphy for issues relating to TMJ. Had to fill out a long questionnaire beforehand with symptoms and health history etc which he flicked through for 10 seconds and left me with no questions answered in our 10 minute consultation costing €230 - no advice but to purchase a mouth guard costing upwards of €700/800. Please do some research and book elsewhere if you want someone to take your TMJ symptoms seriously.

Fantastic experience: I was referred to Ms Mairead Cashman as my Wisdom Teeth were giving me trouble. I met her in Whitfield Clinic in Waterford and she explained the whole process to me regarding the surgical removal of my wisdom teeth. My whole experience from initial consultation to dealing with her secretary in Cork was just fantastic. On the day of surgery Ms Cashman met me prior to the procedure to explain everything once again. Took about 40 mins for the procedure. At the end of the procedure Ms Cashman spoke to me and told me how it went etc. I was very apprehensive about getting them out due to the horror stories I heard before but this lady is just fabulous and fantastic at her job. I recovered very well, no bruising, a little discomfort for 2/3 days but nothing major. I had a General anaesthetic and a local anaesthetic then into the mouth. I followed the care sheet Ms Cashman gave me along with pain killers and antibiotics on discharge. I would recommend Mairead Cashman extremely highly. She is not one of the best she is the best.

Negative experience: Referred to Dr Murphy, travelled 2 hours from Kilkenny to be given red dot stickers and told to concentrate on my breathing and given a stretch to do.... 4 months of an 8/10 pain and that's my €230 diagnosis!!!

Fantastic experience: I'd been referred to Dr. Hartigan for a possible root canal, he was extremely insightful and clear that I didn't need one but needed to get the tooth pulled, I came back the next week and Dr. Cashman extracted the tooth in minutes. I was fairly nervous but she was very reassuring and clear about what would happen. Can't recommend this clinic enough. Thanks so much.

Fantastic experience: I had to get an impacted wisdom tooth removed on Wednesday. I have never had a tooth pulled or even a filling so far so I was very nervous! I would highly recommend Dr. Cashman she was so lovely I didn't feel a thing and have no pain since either. Such an easy process so thank you

Negative experience: Spent 250 euro to be told to eat soft food for two weeks ! Dr murphy is really there to eat steal your money

Fantastic experience: I would like to share my experience regarding Mairead Cashman, the matter private hospital, dr. Brett, clerical staff and to all who was involved. My experience was second to none. Mairead - an educated, decent, kind doctor, explained the whole procedure, told me exactly how and what was going to be performed. The day of the procedure, I was looked after exceptionally, which was organised by her client care consultant (who was just very kind). The matter was spotless, the staff were so kind, all my worries were eased by explanation. Dr. Brett (anestesologist) was just amazin, kind caring doctor who really made me feel at ease. But besides a good table manner, I healed extremely well. I could not recommend them enough. It was a breeze. No bruising, some swelling but the best thing ever when your wisdom teeth are a pain! Thank you

Negative experience: One of the worst experiences I've ever had with a medical professional.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Cashman is an amazing surgeon. She was a pleasure to deal with, extremely knowledgeable, straight up but very caring. I was extremely nervous but knew I was in excellent hands. I must also compliment her Secretary for being so understanding and accommodating.

Fantastic experience: Lovely, refurbished clinic with ample parking. I got 4 wisdom teeth surgically extracted by Dr. Mairead Cashman, who along with the team at the Mater Private, performed the procedure very skilfully. I did not have any major issues/complications post-op (that everyone had warned me about), and am now recovering well. Her secretary in Clermont Clinic was very prompt to respond to any queries leading up to my consultation, and send me an updated med cert upon request too.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Cashman is amazing, as is her whole team. I am just home from my surgery today and from the moment of my consultation a few weeks ago to the moment I left the hospital, all the staff made everything so comfortable and easy. A very talented surgeon, and the team in the Mater Private Hospital was also impeccable

Fantastic experience: Had a tooth extracted here as it wasn't possible to extract it using normal anaesthetic at my regular dentist. It went well and healed well afterwards. Had a minor issue after the procedure that was dealt with very well and resolved very quickly. Would definitely recommend.
