Negative experience: Would not recommend. I visited this clinic a while back for orthodontics treatment . A few months into having braces , too much pressure was applied when removing a bracket (they put on wrong) and they were unable to get off for quite a while and was in pain while doing so, and another member of the team had to removed it . I went home in a lot of pain in the front tooth for a period of time after thinking it was due to having bracket removed and teeth tightened . the force had killed my FRONT Tooth , causing it to turn grey and die .I then had to under go RCT. It was denied when I complained to the clinic and cost myself a large sum of money to fix . my bite was also really off when I had review from dentists after treatment and I was advised to go back and have them redone. Which I absolutely did not or would not do . Over all I would not recommend this clinic to anyone due to the bad experience , large expenses and stress it had caused myself . Months later I have had a total of 6 reviews and every single dentist has complained about my bite after orthodontics treatment with Shannon orthodontics. All has said my teeth were never fully aligned and should go for further review which I will not be doing after the neglectance of this practice ,they would have me leave the practice with the same discoloured wire after leaving majority of treatments too which is so unhygienic also .

The professionalism, efficiency and friendliness of the entire team has been second to none. The whole environment of the practice is excellent. It was always a pleasure to visit the practice. We were always greeted by friendly faces and never left waiting (which always amazed me!). Last but not least, we are all delighted with our teeth!! Fantastic experience: Just completed treatment with Jarlath and his team in Athlone and I can not recommend them highly enough. I had covered my teeth and smile for 20 years but now I can't believe how strait and perfect my teeth look, I never expected the results to be this excellent. The care I received was second to none, I was always taken on time for my appointments and never left sitting in a waiting room like other places I had got consultations in. It is the best money I have ever spent, Jarlath, Michelle, Lorraine, Georgina, Laura and Lorraine are all so professional and friendly and the surgery is spotless. Thank you all again!
