Fantastic experience: Went in on a sunday in excruciating pain coming from a molar. Feared it would require root canal treatment which is generally ridiculously expensive. I was given a really fair price and was allowed to split payment over the visits. The dr was very responisve if i said i was still feeling pain or any discomfort. I would highly recommend

Negative experience: I came with the child with toothache, just when my son opening the mouth (without x-rays) the doctor said that the root canal treatment. 1,300e in cash. He did not want to hear about helping. I saided I do not have enough cash with me please to help somehow because my son suffered a lot but he said when you pay me 1300e cash I will never go there again and do not recommend it to anyone

Negative experience: I woke up in pain but still went to work thinking it will pass after taking few pain killers. Never happened, it was Sunday, I was realised from work , thos was the only dentist available, admitted me 25min late than appointed visit. I told him Im in a lot of pain which I have never experienced before and I would like to be given a strong dose of anaesthetic cause I was going cray... then he stepped back and said (after short examination, tapping my tooth) "this will cost €600" I was shocked, my fiance was shocked in the waiting room, we couldn't afford it , we left , he said "bye bye" Monster nothing I could add...

Negative experience: DO NOT GO HERE!!? I urge anyone with any problem big or small do not go here , I went here for an emergency tooth extraction and he used a flat head screwdriver to break my tooth also he didn't even actually take out all of my tooth he told me to come back on a few months to get the rest out and when discussing the price he tried to charge me 350 and when I said I hadn't got that he just took how much I had very unprofessional and unsanitary, I then went to a different dentist to have it looked at and she told me that he even gave me a very week dose of antibiotics that wasn't right and it got infected and when I asked for a refund he told me they won't do that and hung up. Also it took him 5 times to inject me with anesthetic before it even worked he honestly doesn't care or no what he's doing

Positive experience: Dr. Emara is excellent at doing his job as a dentist. I went in with a lot a lot of pain and he was ready to see me as soon as possible and carried out the root canal treatment in two visits. The first one he gave me antibiotics which was very nice as it saved time from going to pharmacy and etc. The tablets worked fine and after that I went in for the final visit where he successfully finished the treatment. He charged me 800 which is reasonable for a RCT including the antiobiotics. The only thing I would highlight is that this is not a 'standard' clinic. At the moment, he occupies one room in a house under construction, he has no secretary or receptionist and it may seem like an informal setting. He makes jokes which makes the treatment quite smooth (some people have referred to it as sarcastic but it really depends on the POV, it did not bother me at all). I would warn anyone going in to not be alarmed by the informal impression that the clinic may give but overall, I am happy with this dentist as a professional.

Negative experience: The most unprofessional dentist I ever seen in my entire life. I DO NOT recommend Dr Riyadh Emara. I went for a root canal check up, Dr Emara didn't even check my tooth properly. No X-ray, nothing. He didn't even sit to check my tooth. He was just walking around the room "interrogating" me in a weird and embarrassing way. The most awkward consultation I EVER been in my entire life. I felt I was being interrogated to go to prison. He made me feel unease. I believe when you are in pain, you need a professional to take care of you and solve your problem, not judge you while you are lying down on a dentist chair. Then he gives me a quote of €1900 and he wanted me to pay 50% of it right away, he got a bit sarcastic/aggressive when I said I needed some time to think, he said no other dentist in Dublin could fix my tooth. He charged me €60 for the visit (plus some weird pills with no prescription and no label on it - he told me to take those pills for a week and of course I just threw them away when I left) and I left feeling the most stupid person for wasting my time in going to see this human being. Thanks, but NO THANKS to Dr Riyadh Emara.

Negative experience: I went for the Root canal check up, Dr Emara even doesn’t checked properly, No X-ray, nothing he even didn’t take 2 minutes, give me Quote for €1400, No Prescription And charged me for the visit €30 Next Monday I went to 3Dental They take proper time, did the X-ray, and the problem was re-treatments the root canal, Give me prescription to heal the pain, give the Quote for €550 And for the check up they charge €30 too I won’t recommend Dr Riyadh Emara

Fantastic experience: Treatment: Root Canal Treatment Tooth: Upper Two Front Incisors (Low Complexity – One Root in each tooth with one canal each) Reason for Treatment: Puss pocket developed gradually through dental abscess due to Trauma injury 1.5 years ago. I visited Canal View Surgery three times for the root canal treatment on 19th Oct, 21st Oct and 16th Nov 2017. 1st visit – The two Tooth and dead pulps were opened by Dr Emara and left open for draining. Antibiotics were subscribed to fight against bacterial infection. Time taken: 30mins. There is no pain in the procedure. 2st visit – The canals were cleaned again and enlarged with dental file. The root canals were filled with filling, possibly gutta percha. Subsequently the cavities in the Enamel were seals with temporary filling. One X-ray image was taken. I felt no pain most of the time a part from once when Dr Emara was filling/cleaning the canal. The pain was tolerable so not big issue. 3rd Visit – By this time, puss pocket has disappeared. Some residual redness in the tissue was still visible, but hopefully they will disappear as time goes on. There was still some pain in the tooth when they are pressed but probably it will take some more time for the body to completely heal. Dr. Emara removed the temporary filling ad replaced with permanent filling. The tooth feels much more comfortable. No X ray was taken at this point. The overall result of my experience at this point in time was positive. Once all the infections gradually disappeared, the root treated tooth will still require dental crowns on both in order to strengthen the teeth against future biting. The X ray image shows that Dr Emara has carried out the root canal treatment to a high standard. The roots have been filled just right - not too much not too little. Thanks for the good work, Dr! Hopefully soon my tooth will return to normal state in the due course. I am due to visit Canal View Surgery again in a few month to ensure there is no more infection and will post my second review. Root canal treatment can be a painful process psychologically. I am happy to discuss my experience with root canal.

Fantastic experience: I have recently visited RCT dental clinic in dublin to have Root Canal treatment for one of my molar teeth. I found this clinic in a very convenient location with free car park. I was impressed with their modern equipment’s, affordable cost. I would highly recommend this surgery to any one in Dublin who needs Root canal treatment.
