Negative experience: called in trying to get an emergency appointment. turned away because they don't see new patients if it's an emergency....

Negative experience: I had an appointment with the hygienist for a cleaning procedure on 24/09/24. The hygienist was polite, and the procedure itself was neither painful nor overly unpleasant. However, I noticed some staining left on my teeth after the procedure. When I reached out to address this, I was informed that I would need to pay again if I wanted another cleaning. During the call, I was told that the hygienist had noted in her records that my teeth had significant staining, which is understandable. However, if that was the case, I believe I should have been informed during or immediately after the procedure. It should have been explained that additional time or multiple appointments might be needed to fully address the staining, rather than only being told this after I called to follow up. This explanation now feels like an excuse for what I perceive as an unsatisfactory result. I hope this is a case of miscommunication rather than neglect or unprofessional behavior.

They are very welcoming and the professionalism is evident as soon as you walk in the door. Excellent service with excellent patient care and consideration. 5 stars isn't enough. Fantastic experience: I had a problem with a tooth before Christmas. My dentist sent me to a dental surgeon €180 later I left that office with a pain killer and antibiotics and an appointment to come back in February. Neither of them did an xray. I spent Christmas in agony and Cork City Dental clinic saw me as an emergency case. The staff were all lovely and I was seen by Mairead Reardon. After an xray she treated the tooth and put me on antibiotics, after a few days the pain was gone. I now have an appointment with a new dentist to see where I go from here. The service I got at this Clinic was second to none. Thank you all.

Fantastic experience: Perfectly good dentist, been with them for nearly 2 years now. Only wish is that they would send reminders about upcoming checkups but everything else is great.

Fantastic experience: Just finished my one year invisalign journey with Micheal and his team. After he spent a whole hour for free with me explaining invisalign and was really reasonably priced, I knew I would go with him. He is SO kind and gentle, and was really helpful and attentive during my treatment, adjusting things when needed. He also recommended his colleague Dr Russell for composite bonding to finish off my teeth and I'm delighted I did, I'm so happy, I have the smile I've wanted my whole life now. I've recommended Michael to my friends with small kids and they all love him too. 100% recommend this dental practice. Thank you Michael!!!

Negative experience: Very disappointed with this clinic. I made an appointment 2 months ago and To do a bonding in 2 of my teeth. They called me the day before the appointment to tell me that they had to cancel my appointment since the dentist is not a specialist in bondings. Had I known, I could have made an appointment at any other clinic. They gave me the phone number of another dentist in city gate, I called by phone and the prices were crazy (150 euros just to go there, and 300 euros each bonding. (Take in consideration that the price of the bondings goes from 60 to 100 euros in any other clinic) Very disappointed with what they have done, I would not go back there

Fantastic experience: Being a nervous patient, the news of needing a root canal wasn’t exactly heartening. However, Michael is an excellent dentist who put me at ease and the procedure went perfectly. Could not recommend the practice more!

Fantastic experience: Very professional, both kind and helpful. Went to Michael for the first time back in October in pain, and he fixed my toothache and I left with not only a pain free tooth but a smile, he is very jolly and friendly, would put even the most fearful people of dentists at ease, plus you don't feel the injections going in. Very good at his profession and his staff are on the ball. Would highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: Very professional experience with Michael and the staff. He did a brilliant job with my filling and root canal. Michael recognised a possible need for a mouth guard and suggested it to help against my teeth grinding during my sleep. He got a custom fitted mouthguard done, which has been a game-changer for my dental health. Highly recommend.

Michael is genuinely one of a kind when to comes to good dental care. He has an ability to put even the most nervous patient, including myself and my children, at ease by taking his time and explaining what is going on step by step. I have recommended Michael to numerous colleagues and friends and all have nothing but high praise for the service received at this practice. The practice now also offers orthodontics, which is a great advantage because all your dental care is under the same roof. While going to the dentist will never be on the top of my most favourite pursuits, this practice will change your mind if you've had any negative experiences in your past with dentists. I heartily recommend.

Fantastic experience: This was the best dental care we could have hoped for - nightmare scenario, my son majorly damaged his front tooth falling off a bike and they reversed this so tooth is now fine - great manner and was able to take the stress out of the situation for my son.
