Negative experience: I am attending Slievemore clinic with the doctors, always pleasant and courteous. I can’t say the same about the receptionists. Unfriendly, rude and appear to be lazy and more interested in getting their coffee and social chats than looking after patients. Some management and training required at reception here
Positive experience: Dr shafeeq is very fine, the problem is finding his secretary there, i think she works about 3 hours a day, this is not exaggerating

Fantastic experience: I find all of the staff, including the Receptionist staff, to be very courteous, helpful and very professional. It’s always lovely to be met with a smile! When I’m in the waiting room I can the girls constantly on the phone helping their patients. Mary McGrath
Fantastic experience: I had a very nice and professional experience with my girlfriend. She had a wisdom tooth and her right cheek was seriously swelling. We thought the treatment would be complex and long-termed, because in our country China, normally, patients with swelled cheeks are not allowed to extract any tooth. But the doctor was very decisive and only took less than 25 minutes to do the extraction surgery. Also, the nursing assistant and the receptionist were very nice as well. We did the surgery about two weeks ago, the reason I comment today is I intentionally wanted to wait for a while, confirming the recovery condition. Now I am relieved and confirmed.
Negative experience: I have never met a ruder group of reception staff than at this practice. As a heath care professional this group of women would not last a week in any hospital public or private in Irl. In case they actually read this they should be told that they are front of house & set the tone for the whole practice. Clearly they have had no training in dealing with the public. It doesn't take a lot to be to be polite. The GP I was assigned to showed a complete lack of empathy & seemed disinterested. I've left this practice & thankfully found a new practice with really helpful & polite reception staff & a GP who actually cares. I must give credit where it is due & having attended the Nurse a few times she was so professional it was actually a pleasure attending her room.
Fantastic experience: Over the past year, I’ve noticed significant improvements in their services. While I initially faced long wait times and issues with name accuracy, it’s clear that the clinic has made strides in addressing these concerns. They now provide more detailed information about appointment procedures and estimated wait times, which has greatly enhanced the patient experience. Additionally, the accuracy of recording personal information has improved, and any errors are corrected promptly with a sincere apology. I appreciate the clinic’s efforts to value patient feedback and continually improve service quality. These positive changes have restored my confidence in their care and made me more willing to choose their services in the future.
Positive experience: Receptionist has a attitude problem maybe she should consider a change of career she's doesn't seem suited to working withe the public. Really happy with the Doctors and nurse's.
Positive experience: Great doctors and clinical staff. The receptionists get a hard time, but they're accommodating if you're stuck for an appointment.

Fantastic experience: Very helpful and always a pleasure dealing with this practice, from reception staff, to nurse to doctors always leave feeling reassured and relieved. The Pharmacy staff are also extremely knowledgeable and helpful.

Negative experience: They haven't gotten back with my blood tests. I was meant to have them back a week ago. Called them today and they told me to expect a call this afternoon, then heard nothing. Really poor and disappointing service here. Gonna change my GP, I'd echo other people's complaints about reception staff as well.
Negative experience: Hands down the worst receptionist you will ever deal with in your life… I have now moved to a different doctor to avoid dealing with these comically evil people at reception… stay away!
Negative experience: Literally the rudest most unhelpful hostile reception staff I've ever met. Do the (generally lovely) doctors know how badly they are being served by reception? I have never, not once, had a positive interaction with the reception team here. If I could minus stars I would. July 2023: To be fair, I think something has changed here. Last few interactions, by phone usually, the receptionist could not have been more helpful. Someone new maybe, I hope she gets appreciated.
Fantastic experience: I've been going to this clinic since 2018, they took care of me during my two pregnancies and I love my GP- Dr. Anne McDonald so much that she is now our family doctor. She always makes me feel heard and validated and is extremely meticulous! I love the nurses and reception staff too, they're always so friendly and kind especially with our kids. I always leave the clinic feeling valued. Really happy to find this clinic and especially Dr. Anne!
Negative experience: The reception staff at Slievemore Clinic are truly appalling. They act as though its a pain to serve you and they are consistently rude every time I visit the practice. It's a true shame as the doctors are lovely.. but the receptionists are horrible.
Positive experience: Treatment was worth trying although not hugely effective for myself. Found doctor and nurses very good, the reception staff....well brace yourself!
Negative experience: I’ve never met a more horrible receptionist in my life. This woman is most definitely taking customers away from the business and should be fired for her terrible manners and rudeness. The doctors are lovely, but the receptionist clearly hates her job.
Negative experience: It took the secretarial staff a year to forward our family medical records to a new surgery. We moved due to the appalling manners of the receptionist and clerical staff. The superiority attitude and lack of manners is a disgrace. I would presume medical secretaries are trained in dealing with sick people but this does not show in any of the secretarial staff in slievemore clinic.
Negative experience: Reception on phone or in person dreadful. Hate dealing with them
Negative experience: I do not recommend Dr Siobhan. Bad service, no patience and in addition she even called the ambulance for my daughter without her having any problems other than a stuffy nose.
Fantastic experience: Dr. Shafeeq is such a good rheumatologist, such a compassion was presented, understanding of his patient needs and it was nearly like he was feeling my pain. His secretary is also a very nice and kind person, she's helped me to organise the hospital visit and made me feel much better. For once I haven't felt like a "persona non grata". The health system in this country is horrible and the fact that I could avail of a very well managed private practice is amazing. Have never experienced anything like this in this country before. On top of that the place is absolutely spotless. I'm genuinely highly recommending dr. Alraqui. and I'm really hoping that after 10 years of suffering he's going to diagnose me.
Negative experience: Avoid this practice. The receptionist has left me upset numerous times. Ringing to schedule appointments is always a very negative experience.
Fantastic experience: The Dr's are absolutely amazing here. They have a human touch and treat you with compassion and kindness when you're at your most vulnerable.
Negative experience: Very good doctors from past experience, however the service at reception recently is very poor. Was told to have to wait 3-4 days for an appointment, not the slightest bit of compassion or empathy just told more or less it is what is- very disappointing got seen to more or less straight away by nearby doctor thankfully...
Negative experience: Great Doctors but the abrasiveness of their reception staff is unappreciated. I suggest they are understaffed too. In particular the arrogance you experience when calling for test results by their dismissive telephone system leaves you angry to say the least. Whoever owns this establishment would do well to listen to the telephonic messages. Being this rude and counter customer centric will have consequences!
Positive experience: Slievemore Clinic have some of the best doctors and facilities I have ever encountered. However, they have by far the most arrogant and rude reception staff I have had the displeasure of dealing with. Every time I call Slievemore Clinic I am treated like an irritant who is interrupting the receptionist, with audible sighs and scoffs when trying to make an appointment.

Fantastic experience: We brought our son here probably 5 years ago now and all i can do is thank them from the bottom of my heart cause if we had of waited for the hse we would be no where near where we are now with regards to my sons allergies. As far as i am concerned they saved my little boy by providing us with the best knowledge and leaving us with key information that helped us start our sons journey pf growing out of his allergies. Thank you

Negative experience: Their reception advised me to book a consultation to support my mortgage insurance application. These applications are prepaid by insurance companies and a consultation is not typically required. Took time off work to confirm my signature was my signature, left 70euro lighter and feeling like a complete mug.
Fantastic experience: An excellent clinic. Specific mention to Dr Anne MacDonald who is so friendly, compassionate and meticulous with everything she does. She is the best GP I have ever encountered.
Fantastic experience: Received excellent treatment from Dr Carson had Rhinolight done really worked well. Found all the staff there to be extremely professional and courteous couldn’t have been more helpful. State of the art technology

Negative experience: I feel like the receptionist in here is either trying to upset the patients or trying to get fired as she is the rudest person I've ever met. I've changed my GP because of her and have heard the same from other friends and family. I would avoid this clinic. It is also more expensive than other clinics in the area
Negative experience: Treatment rubbish. Very quick to take your money but they avoid contact afterwards. Two treatments which were useless cosr €750 of my hard earned cash. No follow up.

Positive experience: One complaint Incompetent...unprofessional receptionist I rang the clinic and was told that i can not bring my son to an appointment because he is under 5...turned out i can... Now i have to wait several months for another appointment... He could...should have been tested already... Exremely disappointed

Fantastic experience: I used Total Physio at Slievemore. Kiera Brown was superb. I had a bad shoulder from rugby and had seen a doctor and Osteopath and neither seemed to have a clue of what was wrong. Kiera did a number of tests and got to the bottom of the problem in about 5 minutes. Two session on the table and she had it all fixed. Her professionalism and investigation into the problem was outstanding - a great physio.
