Fantastic experience: For such a daunting appointment for some, as soon as contact is made, you are made to feel welcome and comfortable. Everything is explained clearly, and the service, from appointment making to the procedure, is very professional. They genuinely care, all the more so for getting me in during Christmas week when nearly everywhere was closed. Very happy with all levels of support from Citygate Specialist Dental Clinic and if there was more Stars available to give id certainly give them. A Big Thank you to all the Staff.

Fantastic experience: I was referred for a gum graft surgery and I couldn't be more pleased with the experience and results. The staff are very professional and helpful. I had no problems arranging appointments or contacting the surgery. The entire process was explained in detail and the follow-up care was very good with multiple follow ups ensuring healing was going ad planned. An excellent dental experience.

Fantastic experience: My son recently attended Citygate clinic for a surgical procedure. Dr John Ed was so kind and reassuring at the consultation, that my son wasn't in the slightest bit nervous on the day of the treatment. He was extremely professional and thorough, as well as gentle, which resulted in a completely successful outcome. Fantastic experience: I can’t recommend Dr. John Ed and his dental assistant enough - as a really anxious patient, they both put me at ease as much as possible throughout the entire process whilst getting my wisdom tooth removed. A really professional clinic with lovely staff, I would certainly return if needed.

Fantastic experience: My dentist referred me to Dr John Edward as I needed 3 teeth pulled. I have (or had I can say now) an extreme phobia of the dentist so I needed a light sedation to get me through it. Himself and Dee had me at total ease and they genuinely couldn’t have been nicer and more professional before during and after. They healed perfectly and I would have no hesitation in going back again if needed. Thanks a mill :)

Fantastic experience: A Brilliant service, I had gum disease for several years and found I kept having problems with my teeth although I brushed them a lot. I was referred to Citygate dental by my dentist and after several rounds of treatment my teeth are in great shape. I learnt a lot from Jennifer and her team plus they were very nice to deal with.

Negative experience: Atrocious service. I attended for an initial appointment to arrange a dental implant. I had 2 teeth requiring extraction. One, I was informed, was very infected. I was told that I would get a telephone call that evening to arrange extractions. I did not recieve a phonecall. I waited a few days but I was concerned that I had an untreated infection as I was not prescribed antibiotics or anything during the initial appointment and so I wanted the extractions done as soon as possible. During the next 10 days or so I made two telephones and sent an email voicing my concerns that I was still waiting for the extractions During one of the telephone calls I was informed that the team who perform extractions were off that week. This left me in limbo. I arranged the extractions and dental implant with another dentist. I did, EVENTUALLY, get a call back 26 days after I had had my initial appointment and was promised a call. Were they seriously letting me wait for this long with an infection Even if I didn't have an infection.... 26 days of waiting on a reply is atrocious. I do appreciate that the lady who schedules appointments was out sick but surely a business cannot become that dependent on one person and fail to appoint someone to fill in for her during sick leave. Biggest waste of money ever. Initial appointment cost €150.... to be told I needed work done... but nobody to schedule it and no team to extract teeth.

Fantastic experience: I attended Citygate Specialist Clinic late last year to have a gum graft procedure with Dr Jennifer Kearney. The whole setup is excellent, even in the current environment. The clinic is spotless, sanitized and temperature etc taken on entry. The staff are wonderful and very responsive, especially the dental nurses who explained procedure in detail, took the time to answer any questions I had and in general were just so incredibly friendly and kind. The procedure went off without a hitch... A few months later and it's still holding. The procedure itself only lasted 1 hour and Dr Kearney is skilled at what she does. Never in my life had I heard of a gum graft and to see what she was able to do with what she had to work with is unbelievable. Has saved my teeth from gum recession. Would def recommend.

Fantastic experience: Very happy to review Citygate Dental. A few months ago my dentist referred me to Citygate. Under the care of, and after the treatment from, Dr. Jennifer and Yvonne I'm happy to say there has been a significant improvement in my gum health. The treatment I received was professional, efficient and effective. I can ony speak highly of all staff that I had dealings with at Citygate and would recomend them.

Positive experience: Having attended Citygate on at least 6 occasions since my initial assessment I can recommend their services. All staff are polite and professional , in particular Yvonne ( hygienist ) and Seamus ( prosthodontist ), who take the time to explain in detail each procedure as it evolves.

Fantastic experience: I visited Citygate dental for the first time last week. It was the most pleasant experience at a dentist I have ever had. I think it was possibly the only time I have left a dentist with a smile on my face. The specialist I saw was Anne O'Donoghue who explained to me what was going on with my teeth so clearly I felt I could sit a dental exam and pass afterwards. The two girls at the front who's names where Caroline and Alex, where so friendly and inviting I almost booked a follow-up even though I was told I didn't need one. 5⭐

Fantastic experience: I was referred to City Gate Specialist Dental Clinic by my own dentist because of significant periodontal disease. I went under the care of Dr Jennifer Kearney (Consultant) and Yvonne (Dental Hygienist) and was provided with a very professional, comprehensive, efficient, and pain-free treatment. I cannot speak highly enough of both Jennifer and Yvonne, but from Consultants through to Admin staff, you would be hard pressed to find a more reassuring, professional and friendly team.

My first impression of Citygate was that of a modern, bright and professional clinic. The care I received from Dr. Kearney, the Dental nurses and Hygienists was 5 star without a doubt. I found Dr. Kearney to be very thorough and knowledgeable. I trusted her skill and advise from day one. The Dental nurses and the Hygienists were also professional, knowledgeable and caring. Fantastic experience: feel very happy to write this review. i took my little boy ,2 yr who has fear of hospitals and medical uniforms.very sensitive,specially to dental check ups and has had unsuccseful..assememts in past. had lots of concerns how he will be but to my surprise.. starting from the reception staff,who made it very relaxing and friendly till the very special consultant who was able to make a magic connection with my baby and did the best assesment and all with no cry does deserve a big thank you from us and our little one.. A quick follow up instructions explanation to detail all much appreciated.. thankyou gilna .

Fantastic experience: Had a recent wisdom tooth extraction and wasn't looking forward to it but as promised when x-ray was done, would all be over with in 10 minutes,. That included waiting 5 mins for the gum to go numb from the local anesthetic! Painless at the time and no pain afterwards, apart from the odd very mild 'pinch' for a couple of days afterwards. Didn't need painkillers

Fantastic experience: I was extremely satisfied with the service I received from City Gate Dental following two visits there during October 2018. The team were able to accommodate me at such short notice and with a specific timeframe in mind (a previous dental practice had, without warning, cancelled a surgery appointment on me after I had already arranged significant work commitments around the surgery date). My dentist, Michael, was thorough and pleasant at all times. He made sure I was fully informed of the procedure (wisdom teeth removal) and I felt relaxed before and during the surgery. For anyone seeking dental treatment, I would highly recommend City Gate Dental - it is an efficient, customer-orientated and professional practice.

Fantastic experience: Please bear in mind that this review is coming from a nervous dental patient. I have just had root canal treatment done by Conor Durak in Citygate and I would like to commend him and all team for the extremely kind and professional treatment I received. From the initial assessment and right through the procedure any questions or concerns I had were completely listened to and answered. While I can't go as far as saying that it was an enjoyable experience, I can say that Conor made it as comfortable as was possible. I have had root canal done by a regular dentist in the past but this experience was by far the best and least traumatic. I even got a call the following day, just to check that I was OK. I would have no hesitation in recommending this practice and will be returning for more work in the future. A huge Thank You to all the team.
