Fantastic experience: Have had appointment/consultation with Dr Monroe and from start to finish he made sure I was ok, as I was and am extremely nervous, of dentists but his caring and compassionate nature set me at ease and am looking forward to his continued dental work on my teeth, also his dental nurse Laura is a lovely person also x

Fantastic experience: I was a very nervous man before going to Finglas Dental Care and seeing Dr. Munroe. But from the very beginning, the whole team made me feel completely at ease. They guided me through every step of the way with care and professionalism. I truly appreciate the patience and kindness they showed me throughout the process.

Negative experience: Very poor service . I went and got my composite bonding under the understanding I needed to go every 6 months for a clean reason I picked here was because they opened late nights and weekends as I work full time and would need been out of office hours . Now im told they are now longer working late night or weekends. Cancelled on me 2 times also I think very poor practice . Told me I can take time off work if I want to go to get them cleaned. Very rude receptionist talking over me when I tried to explain my situation check out other reviews before booking is all id say and also they can just change there opening hours last minute. Before changing hours should of fulfilled customers appointment instead of cancelling

Negative experience: Becoming a regular occurrence waiting weeks on an appointment and booking time off work to then getting a phone call to be told sorry Dentist out sick can you wait another 4 weeks! Final nail in the coffin here for me! :(

Fantastic experience: I would highly recommend Dr. Munroe. I had a lot of issues with my teeth. I needed extensive work done. Dr. Tom Munroe put my mind at ease and explained exactly what I needed done and the cost. I liked the ease of each appointment with no hidden costs. Other specialists gave me a hopeless outcome and Dr tom managed to restore my smile and my confidence. Negative experience: I do not recommend using this practice!! I’ve had an appointment scheduled for 14th march @ 9:30 When I’ve arrived I wasn’t seen at my appointment time it was already 25 min past my appointment time so When I’ve asked the receptionist when I am going to be seen? She shrugged her shoulders and said she doesn’t know and that I’ll be called when the dentist is ready. So I told her to cancel my appointment and left After I’ve tried to book in with a different practice using my PRSI . I was told that the finglas dental has used my prsi already when I didn’t get the treatment done from them!!! When I’ve called them to ask why they claimed my prsi the receptionist was very unhelpful and said that yeah I was meant to call them to reverse the charge , and while I was meant to ask her how long will that take she hung up on me! Avoid if you value your time , and if you don’t want your prsi to be claimed for a treatment you didn’t receive!!! Unprofessional practice!!!

Fantastic experience: I had dental work in Poland,had bridges fitted top and lower and had issues with the bridges. I decided to visit Finglas Dental and meet with Tom and Laura on the recommendation of a friend. Both very friendly and caring people,put me at ease and asked me for the background on my dental issues.Tom took x-rays of my mouth,sat and had a chat with me and came up with a plan to solve the issues with my bridges short term until such time as the bridges were in good health and he would work on a long term solution.I have serious periodontal issues and Tom and Laura sat and explained the best path going forward with regard to solving the issues.Tom gave me two root canals on my lower teeth,a tough task but both Tom and Laura had great patience,kept me calm and had success with both teeth.I was sent away for a number of weeks in order to let the gums settle,I had no pain at all and the teeth are wonderful. I visited again and Tom and Laura took moulds of my teeth and sent them away for inspection. Tom was not happy with the condition of my lower bridge,he cleaned both top and lower bridges,trimmed the teeth that were brittle and breaking,Tom decided to place dental bonding on the teeth and they now sit together better and feel stronger.Tom has a long term plan and I look forward to one day having my mouth restored and feeling and looking well. I highy recommend that anyone who has dental issues visit the clinic and arrange an appointment with Tom and Laura.They will put you at ease and treat you with respect.They are thorough professionals.

Positive experience: I have known Dr Tom Munroe for many years. I attended his Miltown Dental Clinic starting approx 10 years ago for general dental work, however, about 8 years ago I had an accident in Spain & lost some front teeth. Dr Tom carried out some excellent engineering work to create a perfect implant system for me & I have had no problems since. I have now followed Dr Tom to Finglas Dental Care & will continue to use & take advice from him.

Fantastic experience: Had the best experience today in the surgery, I was absolutely terrified going in to have teeth extracted and was looked after by doctor Gaj and Annalie. Both doctor Gaj and Annalie are certainly in the right professions they both made me feel completely at ease, relaxed and made sure I was in no pain whatsoever. I left today so so happy after entering terrified thanks to them both and will certainly be back to finally sort my teeth after so many years being afraid to see a dentist. Fantastic experience: I have been receiving treatment at Finglas Dental foe a number of years. I must be honest and say I had not always found them great. I even suffered some I'll effects from a bad diagnosis. However, since Dr. Tom Munroe and Laura took over my care 2024 the difference is night and day. Thanks to them working with me over a period of months, helping both physically and working with me financially I'm now in the most stable condition with my oral health than I have been in years. I've gone from low humming daily pain and constant issues, to painless and around to smile again after hiding it for some time. Thank you Tom and Laura.

Dr. Tom Munroe is an amazing Denitst and so professional, I just had three root canals and crowns done and they look and feel brilliant, but more so he is such a nice person who gave me plenty of options and was detail in how he would solve my issues, and Laura who is his Dental assistant is amazing and so good and explains everything in detail. Negative experience: They never answer the phone. I've been calling for one week. All day every day. I have left voices messages for the last few weeks and they never contact you back. Avoid at all costs. I switched to college gate dental and guess what. They answered right away and had me booked in for the following week. Do not waste your time.

Negative experience: Attempted to attend the emergency clinic on offer from 8am as stated on the Facebook page and was left standing outside the front door for 20 minutes, tried calling the office number multiple times and even the intercom at the front door but no answer so I left. Great “emergency” service

Fantastic experience: I highly recommend Tom and his team. I got crown and bridge work done over a six week period and I have to say that I’m very happy with the results. It turned out far better than I ever expected.

Negative experience: Very disappointed in the surgery recently. I am a client 10 years, had my braces and all teeth work done here spent 1000s also my husband. I called a few weeks back in absolute agony with my broken tooth to be told they've no appointment for a month. A few times this has happened, seems they have lost interest in there original clientele. Once John & Kim left the place went downhill. So don't waste your time if you need to be seen before 4 weeks time.

Fantastic experience: I attended Finglas dental Care today for an emergency. I was seen by Dr Tom Munroe. He was very professional and helpful. He explained to me why I was having the issue and how we could work together to solve it. I’m a nervous patient and he made feel comfortable since the very first minute. Fantastic experience: I can not recommend this dental practice highly enough. I had a complex dental issue which has been ongoing for a while but Tom the dentist and Laura the dental nurse were meticulous, professional and left no stone un-turned to make sure I got to the bottom of the issue. The standard of care I received was like nothing I have experienced before. I also needed an extraction which I was nervous about but they went to great lengths to put me at ease and explain every step of the process. The after care has also been stellar. It also helps that they are lovely, friendly and warm people who obviously take the care and well-being of their patients seriously. Highly recommend !!

Fantastic experience: I am a patient who is terrified of dentists after three horrific experiences, I was in contact with this dentist clinic and in touch with a receptionist called Killian who was absolutely fantastic and bragged about the dentist he works at, telling me that they are one of the best dentists in not only north Dublin but Co. Dublin, heade sure I was okay and happy to come, Killian met me at the front door brought me in and introduced me to Dr Munroe and sat me down and went through the application which helped massively, Killian and Dr Munroe and his fantastic dental nurse stayed with me the whole time even tho I was extremely nervous, when I went in for my removal they made sure no matter what I knew what was going to happen and made sure i felt safe and secure with the procedure. The dentist gave me my local in my gums he said it would feel like a scratch and we all know that it's a lie and is always Abit more painful than a scratch. When I tell you it wasn't even a scratch just a tiny pinch for all the injections, it was so so pleasant, when the dentist was doing the removal I felt no pain not even pressure. He spent longer than it would be with an extraction to make sure my extraction came out easily and without any damage to other teeth even tho the tooth had to be broken. He finished up and said all done, when I sat up I looked shocked and confused so much so they taught I was either in pain or the local didn't work, what actually happened was I was so shook he was finished because I felt nothing at all. Not only am I recommending this dentist to family and friends but I will advocate to everyone who is afraid of dentist or not even afraid to come to this dentist because it will honestly be your forever dentist if you come here because it is now mine after being in four different dental surgeries around Dublin. The whole team not only make you feel safe but make you feel like ur there family they are looking after. The care, the attention to detail and the safety I felt there I hope everyone can experience this here. Thank you so much to the team there for looking after me.

Negative experience: These people are a joke. No duty of care to their patients. Since the new owners have taken over from Paul. The standard of service has dropped. Only use if no where else. Staff have a narcissistic attitude which give misleading information

Negative experience: Had composite bonding done here, and they are awful. I have been back regarding this and there has been next to no help from the dentist. I am so unhappy with the outcome and are completed to a poor standard. I have been to many dentists to fix the problem created by Finglas Dental Care, to which were all shocked and appalled by the treatment I received. DO NOT COME HERE FOR COMPOSITE BONDING.
