Positive experience: My experience at this clinic has varied significantly each time. In March, I went for a teeth cleaning expecting to be treated by a Brazilian dentist, but instead, a dentist of another nationality performed the procedure—and it was excellent. After that visit, their marketing team began contacting me for a review, even though I never consented to receive marketing communications. When I asked them to stop, they did—for a while. In June, I returned to get a night guard, and the dentist was fantastic. However, on the same day, I received another unsolicited message from the marketing team offering a discount on a teeth cleaning. I decided to schedule the cleaning, and this time, a Brazilian dentist assisted me. I’m not sure if it was because of the discount, but the service was quite different from my March visit. It lasted only 15 minutes and lacked some of the steps from before, like dental flossing. Had I known the discount meant a different level of service, I would have paid full price.

Negative experience: I visited this dental clinic some time ago for an expensive surgery, and unfortunately, it was a TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE. The reception was disorganized, communication was poor, and the doctor lacked the expertise I expected. It quickly became clear that there was a lack of experience in this field, and the treatment did not meet the agreed standards. During my procedure, they left my tooth open without finishing the surgery because they did not know how to proceed and left me in a painful situation. To make matters worse, they then told me to find another clinic to complete the treatment, which is extremely unprofessional, and even had to involve authorities to try to recover part of my money, which was beyond frustrating. Looking at other reviews, I realized that also others have faced similar issues with lack of expertise and professionalism. I have attached a screenshot as evidence of what happened. If you're considering treatment here, I strongly recommend researching other options before making a decision. Patients deserve transparency, professionalism, and high-quality care, and sadly, that was not my experience at this clinic.

We would like to clarify a few important points regarding your treatment to provide accurate context for future patients. The procedure you underwent was not a tooth extraction, but rather a root canal treatment. As is standard in such cases, a dental crown is typically required after the root canal to properly restore and protect the tooth. Unfortunately, there was a misunderstanding regarding this: the crown is a separate procedure and not included in the cost of the root canal treatment. Upon realizing that you did not wish to proceed with the crown placement — due to believing it was included — we respected your decision and processed a full refund of €275 for the services provided on July 13th, 2022. We also made it clear that we would be happy to provide all clinical records (including notes, X-rays, and images) to support the continuity of your treatment at another clinic of your choice. Our team always strives to ensure clarity, professionalism, and patient safety, and we regret that there was any confusion during the process. We hope this explanation helps clarify the situation for others, and we wish you all the best in your future care.

Negative experience: Eu esperei 15 minutos a mais do meu horário. Sendo que eu recebi um e-mail avisando para chegar cedo. Só fui comunicada que a dentista estava numa sala de cirurgia depois de 15 minutos. Eu agendei uma limpeza sem flúor. A dentista fez o uso do mesmo. A recepção questionou a dentista se tinha feito uso do flúor e a mesma disse que sim. A falta de comunicação foi gigante. Tendo em vista para que pergunta se antes de fazer o procedimento de limpeza se quero com fluor ou não? O profissional já deve começar o procedimento sabendo o que vai ocorrer mediante o que foi acordado no pré atendimento junto com a recepção. Eu não me omiti a pagar. Porém achei muita falta de comunicação e para não ficar feio efeituei o pagamento da diferença que antes de começar o atendimento já havia feito o mesmo. Se eu volto? Não e não recomento pelo descaso.

Please note that a 15-minute delay is part of our tolerance policy, but we are constantly working to minimize these setbacks and improve communication with our patients. Regarding the fluoride, although you mentioned during booking that you didn’t want it, some patients do change their minds during the procedure. However, the dentist could have communicated this to the reception to ensure everything was as you requested. If you would like, you can visit the clinic to receive the difference back. Negative experience: Eu fui muito bem atendida pela Dra Carmelia. Porém depois fiquei muito chateada. Não consegui ir no dia do retorno. E para remarcar teria que pagar multa. E também o implante que a Dra apertou. Ficou solto rapidamente. Informei e não pude ser atendida por conta que não achei justo pagar a multa. O retorno só foi necessário por conta que não foi resolvido o problema. Não quis brigar mais. Porque Deus é justo. Porém eu e minha família não voltaremos mais.

Negative experience: Worst clinic I've ever been to in my life. I arrived with a toothache and they didn't want to do the pulpotomy treatment, claiming that to do it they would have to do a complete root canal treatment costing €800. I spent €50 on an evaluation and X-ray for nothing and left with a toothache.

Fantastic experience: I like very much the clinic. I have been with them since 2018 I guess or earlier. I had done various treatments and the quality is a very high standard. For the service they offer it is 5 stars. Dr Flavio, Dr Andrei and Dr Carmela are my favorites S2 However, I don't like at all and feel very old fashion that payments for specialist must be a lump sum in cash. This is very unsafe: to walk in the street with the amount of your dental treatment all in cash. Nobody has cash nowadays, even less in high values.

Negative experience: No mês do meu aniversário eu recebi uma mensagem dizendo que se eu fizesse uma limpeza seria mais barato, achei bem interessante e resolve marcar. Porém a mensagem que eu recebi não estava com informações corretas, totalmente misleading Na saída, conversei com a secretaria sobre a minha frustração e enfatizei que a informação da mensagem foi equivocada e que eles não deveriam fazer isso. Ela disse que falaria com o departamento responsável porém não tive nenhum retorno. Triste ver clínicas brasileiras fazendo isso.

Fantastic experience: I had a root canal treatment done with Dr Andrei and I am happy with the service provided by him and by the staff at the clinic. - Dr Andrei is a complete professional, he explained to me what the issue with my tooth was, showed me the x-rays he had taken and explained what it could be done. Then, he explained what he was going to do, step by step, and at the end of the treatment he gave me a brief explanation of what he had done. I'd definitely recommend this dental clinic.

Fantastic experience: Enhance Dental are a fantastic dental service. A big bonus is that they're are open on Saturdays and open until 8pm during the week. It was easy to get an appointment and unlike many other dentists, they explain everything to you. I went in for a check up and a clean. I've never had a clean as good from any other dentist.
