Fantastic experience: I went to the hygienist for a cleaning and from the moment I came in the door the receptionists were very welcoming and accommodating and the hygienist was a really nice and helpful during and after the cleaning process. They also encourage asking questions if you have any to get the best results following on from any treatments you have.

I am so comfortable attending Beechwood Dental practice now that I am happy to even book from appointment to appointment for maintenance rather than just going when I’m in trouble. Everyone here is so understanding and have gently encouraged me to understand why maintenance is so important. The best practice I’ve ever been to and would never change now.

Negative experience: I have gone to this dentist on a number of occasions and my conclusion is that they are money grabbing - on two separate occasions I was advised to get unnecessary (based on second and third opinions) and expensive treatments. As well as that the quality and clarity of communication from the dentist was poor. For example, I needed a referral to an oral surgeon and the dentist proposed I come in twice to get two rounds of X-rays done. This was completely unnecessary but revenue generating and can be done during routine check up by other dentists - which is covered by PRSI.

Fantastic experience: I had a mixed bag of dentists over the years until I was fortunate enough to be referred to Beechwood Dental by a friend who goes there too. On that occasion it was to address issues from previous work carried out by another practice. I went under the care of Dr Alex and immediately I was impressed by his ability and realised what I had been missing out on over the previous decades. I was reassured the experience would be different, painless and stress free, all of which were delivered upon. I have returned many times for dental work, checkups and to benefit from the dental hygienist. All the staff are efficient and professional. Front of house is friendly and accommodating and will always go out of their way to accommodate an appointment time that suits us around work and school. My whole family are patients here now including my children who are 12 & 7. I would say they are a child and adult friendly dentist and would recommend them highly, especially for those who like me are nervous, maybe haven't enjoyed their experience elsewhere or who just want the best. Fantastic experience: Root canal isn't fun. They can't make it fun either. I was a tricky case and they were super fast, super professional and much easier than what I was expecting based on previous root canal. It really was an "oh you're done already" moment. Hopefully I'll never need it again, but if I do I'll go to a specialist. Waiting list was really short too.

Negative experience: It was good until the last visit when I got 3 night guards wrong. The last one was perfect, done by themselves and fit my needs. 6 years later they couldn't get it right and not only that, didn't trust what I was saying. So expensive and now I have to do all over again.

Fantastic experience: Having sat in dentists chairs over many years, I have now found a surgery that should see me out ! From the moment I enter the main door I am met with very friendly reception staff.Brothers Alex and Greg are superb dentists, the latter deals mainly with root canal treatment. They have the rare ability with with their ready smile, to put one at ease the moment one comes through their surgery door. Every procedure is fully explained and sometimes, if relevent , given a Treatment Plan print out. The 5 star rating is fully deserved and I would highly recommend this dental surgery

The dentist at beechwood speaks very fast and rushes you into making decisions on the spot. They have Lost my trust so found another place
