Fantastic experience: Looked after me at Christmas when everywhere closed and I had a severe toothache. Very helpful and professional.

Fantastic experience: Three weeks ago, I went for a root canal treatment and was able to get an appointment very quickly, which was impressive. Since I live in another city, the dentist made sure to treat me as soon as possible. Throughout the entire process, Dr. Emara was extremely patient and very friendly. The entire process was very efficient.

Fantastic experience: I visited Dr. Emara today with extreme pain in my back molar, my experience was absolutely amazing, he diagnosed the issue and talked me through all the options I had available without any pressure, I decided to have the molar extracted and the whole process was extremely smooth from start to finish and did not feel rushed at all, he really put me at ease and gave clear instructions throughout the procedure, Dr. Emara is an absolute gentleman and I could not recommend him enough, I'm so grateful for the service he provided. Fantastic experience: Two weeks ago I suffered with extreme pain after my root canal had 2 abscesses. I contacted 3 clinics in Dublin. One well known clinic booked me in for a Sunday afternoon and I thought I had success and the pain would finally be resolved. I was told the dentist would re-do my root canal that day. When I got there the dentist said there was a mix up and he could not re-do my root canal, all he could off was pain relief. I had organised child care and paid a depoist and was so happy the pain would now stop - but instead I left in distress and was so upset. I had been to another dentist the night before with no resolution and I had contacted another who could not help me. I then in a last ditch effort to stop the throbbing pain, contacted Dr Emara. He saw me at 7pm that night and having reviewed the x-ray's, he began work on my tooth, he opened it up, cleaned it out and resolved the pain. He saw me in a follow up to finish the work and close the tooth. During this time I found him to be a very kind, sincere and diligent man. Out of all of my failed appointments, with so called "top dentists" he resolved the issue for me and talked me through the work each step of the way. I was in so much pain and he was the only one who helped me. I am forever grateful. He is an excellent dentist and I am very thankful for the perfect work he did on my back molar that caused me so much suffering. Thank you so much.

Fantastic experience: Composite fell off for the 2nd time . Even. Though he told me it would be a short fix the first time. He still helped on the Sunday I called when it was his only day off. He understood my panic of having no front tooth and drove from his home to his surgery in an hours time to make sure I was seen to. I cannot recommend how great he his. No judgement. Just understanding and got the job done and didn't charge a kidney. A dentist for life in my eyes. No other dentist in dublkn. Especially on a Sunday would do this. Thank you.

Fantastic experience: Could not recommend Canal View Dental enough!! I travelled from Kildare and went in for an emergency root canal and was made feel at ease as soon as I walked in. Dr Emara explained every step of the treatment and made sure I could not feel a thing. He was more than accommodating when booking in my follow up appointment additionally. Fantastic experience: Visited Dr. Emara this morning needing an emergency tooth extraction. I was very nervous but he put me at ease and was very considerate and patient with me and the way I was feeling. The options and procedures were fully explained to me before the extraction. He made sure I was comfortable throughout and I am delighted to say am pain free this afternoon. Would highly recommend him.

Fantastic experience: Excellent service, I went to this dentist on a bank holiday and I was in a lot of pain with my wisdom tooth that was affecting my lower tooth causing an infection, he took out my wisdom tooth and I was in and out within 45 mins, I was very nervous as I have never had a tooth removed before but he made me feel very comfortable and he cracked alot of jokes which made me feel a lot better about the whole thing. I was very happy with the experience overall and I would go back if I had issues in the future.

Negative experience: Appalled by the service we received, charged what has been confirmed by two other dentists an extortionate price for a straightforward service. Our child’s palate expander had come loose and it was a Saturday and our dentist was closed so we had no other option he took complete advantage of that and charged my husband €350 to remove it. Charged in advance for an anesthetic that wasn’t needed or used. I emailed to query the price and was basically told they provided a prompt service and the price was agreed. Of course it was agreed it had to be removed so my child could eat they knew that. I would advise everyone to take their business elsewhere or request an itemised list of the the cost in advance because they will overcharge you.

Fantastic experience: Went in with severe tooth pain and mouth livers from a wisdom tooth was my first time attending canal view dental and he had my tooth out within minutes totally painless such a good experience!!

Negative experience: My son's tooth started hurting, especially on a Saturday. We went to a clinic where the doctor charged us a whopping 200 euros just to fill the tooth, saying we wouldn't have to pay more if it hurt again. Two weeks later, my son's gum swelled up and he was in a lot of pain, so we went back to the same clinic. This time, the doctor seemed really mean. He asked my son if he needed to have the tooth taken out, but my son was scared and said no. Then the doctor said he couldn't take it out because my son didn't agree to it. We decided to find another doctor who charged us less and got the tooth taken out. I'm not blaming the first doctor, just myself for choosing to go there.

Fantastic experience: We went to Dr Emara yesterday after my son broke his front tooth. He did a fantastic job and reassured both my son and I every step of the way. 100% professional service from start to finish.

Negative experience: I went to this dentist two years ago and spent over €6000. Firstly the dentist gave me two veneers which I did not need and looked ridiculous when I had said to him I just needed the two teeth capped. He charged me the amount for the veneers and then after the procedure, when we both agreed they were unnecessary he removed them and put composite bonding over the teeth but did not refund me the excess that the porcelain veneers had cost. At that time I also got a root canal and crown placed on one of my teeth. The procedure cost 3000 euro and then should last over ten to fifteen years but the crown has now fallen out . Clearly is not carrying out procedures correctly. Avoid at all costs

Fantastic experience: Riyadh gave me an appointment extremely quickly the day after I had a bad fall. He gave me temporary crowns during healing time before giving me a dental implant and permanent crowns on two teeth. He explained each procedure to me along the journey very comprehensively and took a lot of time to provide me with top quality dental care. Got my smile back! Thank you!

Negative experience: Dr. Emera can do implants without an x ray wow! Take full payment upfront and then unable to fit implants cause a lot of pain and refuse to give money back! Avoid this dentist!

Fantastic experience: I had horrible pain in my top rear jaw .. wasn't sure if it was a tooth or gum problem, but rang on a Sunday morning and was offered an emergency appointment the same day. I saw Dr. Emara who was very thorough and removed my tooth later that day. Dr. Emara calmed me and talked me through every step of the way ( adding humour along the way) . The tooth was removed with no pain and I was given antibiotics to bring home with me (I didn't have to find or go to a chemist). I would highly recommend Canal View Dental Surgery. This was my first time to attend, but I'll definitely go again. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Fantastic experience: I went to Dr. Emara two days ago for an emergency wisdom tooth extraction and the service was just the best possible experience I could’ve asked for! At first I was extremely scared for the procedure but Dr. Emara calmed me down and made me feel as safe and comfortable as possible. Negative experience: Cracked a front tooth and this was the only place open on a Sunday, I wouldn’t recommend otherwise! It looked terrible and I was in a lot of pain for 2 weeks after and went to another dentist and they redid everything and I had immediate relief.

Fantastic experience: I got a root canal procedure completed over 4 appointments at Canal View. The service was great from start to finish. Being someone who is very nervous about going to a dentist, I felt very comfortable during all of my appointments and was constantly reminded that I could stop and take a break at any time if I needed which was very helpful. Fantastic experience: I had a dental emergency on a Sunday morning. Called ther Dr. at 8am and booked me in he solved my issue at 11am..and on a Sunday. Nice and comforting , would go back again for any dental issues.

Fantastic experience: I have visited many dentists and orthodontists for my dental problems. I think Dr Emara is the best! He is an extremely skilled and experienced dentist. As I am in my 40’s, no one dentist even attempted to fix my bitting problem for me. He didn’t just fix my teeth also corrected my bitting issues. As the result, my face look much younger than before. I was very lucky to get the treatment from him. Thanks Dr Emara.

Negative experience: Don’t recommemd this dentist at all. My wife’s crown have came off and have gone to this dentist to get the same crown cemented. He has charged an huge amount of money as it was the weekend and we have no other option. But after a week the crown came off again as he did not put it correctly. A very bad experience. Will not recommend this dentist to anyone. Don’t know how some people giving him good review.

Negative experience: If there was no stars, I would give ZERO, Stay away from this dentist, unprofessional, offered root canal without x-rays, temporary crown fell out as soon as we got home. Refused to give refunds when customer is not happy with the treatment being carried out.

Fantastic experience: Dr Emara really helped me out on New Year’s Day. Had a bad gum infection caused by a dodgy wisdom tooth. He seen to me very quickly and got me on the mend.

Negative experience: My girlfriend had a bad fall and her 2 front teeth broke. The dentist told us that the solution was a tooth implant straight away without doing x-rays and without looking at her teeth properly.... We went to other 2 dentists after that and the tooth implant was not the solution, instead she needed a root canal which is a less traumatic procedure. Very unprofessional service and manners - just wanted our money by offering my girlfriend a treatment she didn't need.

Positive experience: I was in a bad way with a wisdom tooth earliest appointment i could get was 3 days a friend put me in contact with dr emera my friend also sent me the reviews. I was a little bit concerned but i was in a very bad way. So i took the chance. On entry it appeared like a house bieng in renevation but the waiting room and doctory surgery was fine after an hour of treatment. I was relieved i since had all my dentil work done with doctor emera and found evrything to be very good. He was so accesable and i was able to get all my treatments done at weekends.

Negative experience: Please do not go to this dentist!! I had extreme pain in my tooth, of course it occurred on a bank holiday so I needed emergency care. I am a very nervous patient but went to Canal Street Dental and met Dr. Emara. He told me my partner could not come inside with me and when I looked inside it looked like he was practicing out of an abandoned house. My gut told me going in there alone was a bad idea, so I apologised and left. When I got home I looked up the dentist again and saw in 2019 he was sued for "entirely inappropriate practice" to which the victim was awarded a considerable sum in the High Court due to damages suffered. Then I came across another article where he completely refused to pay the damages and didn't attend his court dates. I don't know how he has all these 5 star reviews but seriously don't go here.

Negative experience: The guy's a mercenary. Paid for the 5 minutes avaliation (40 euros) but if I wanted a prescription to take my tooth pain away would have to pay extra 60! 60 just for the prescriptio of a antibiotic! 100 for 5 minutes of his time and a sheet of paper. Unethical to rip people off like this. Don't recommend for anyone that can't afford to be ripped off! Such shady person

Fantastic experience: Dr emara should be wearing a Cape he is a hero I can't thank him enough he seen me for emergency extraction I was in severe pain he was the only dentist to call me back with appointment. Fantastic experience: Dr Emar saw me on 1 hours notice on a bank holiday sunday. My composite bond on my tooth had broke off. Dr Emar noted that the teeth surronding the broken tooth was very poorly bonded and advised that it would be best to fix all three teeth. When I told him I couldnt afford all 3 he so kindly rebonded all three of my composites without extra charge. Not only is he a great dentist, Dr Emar is an amateur comedian and made the whole treatment very pleasant. Thank you Dr Emar

Fantastic experience: My 11 Yr old daughter needed emergency treatment on a bank holiday Monday. Dr E Mara was the only one who answered my call and who could do the treatment on the day. Besides him, not one other dentist surgery answered the call or responded to my messages in all of South Dublin area. As it turned out she needed a double extraction which was both difficult and traumatic for her. He was very gentle and reassuring throughout, always explaining what he was going to do. He was also very patient when she was upset and good at making light of the situation when necessary in order to distract her. Thanks so much for your work and especially for your quick response!

Fantastic experience: I suffer from anxiety, and have a serious fear of dentists. Unfortunately, I have had many negative experiences with rude and evil dentists that did not care about my specific needs. I have to say that my experience with the dentist from Canal View Surgery (Rathmines) was very positive in this aspect. Even though I am fully aware that I gave him a hard time, the dentist is unexpectedly funny and extremely patient.I needed to return to fix a few things after my root canal, and he made himself available to see me right away. He even gave me a free lesson on how to post google reviews at the end of the session (hahaha).

Fantastic experience: I have a full phobia of dentists, and so will usually only go to my own dentist. I needed an appointment from Dr Emara as an emergency, having had no sleep overnight. He needed to extract two teeth, which was very traumatic. Dr Emara was so kind and patient, and worked at the pace I was able for, constantly checking in. Fantastic experience: My wife got the tooth problem, so we went to Canal View Dental. Dr. Emara gave an amazing treament. He put a new crown on the broken tooth. Now, my wife feels so good for the new tooth that she can not even sense the difference with the origin one. It tooks us just 2 dental visitings in two weeks. My wife used to be very nervous for the dental treament. This time, she felt easy and very little pain during the process. Dr. Emara's is a Master !

Fantastic experience: During the last one year I was suffering from a consistent toothache which became a part of my daily life. It was staying with me for weeks, then going away for a few days and then back. I visited two different dental services, one of them was treating me for the last 6 years and have done numerous x-rays to me and the other one was a local dentist that I visited because my regular dental center was closed due to the pandemic last April. Both of them did an x-ray and made the same diagnosis. "Your teeth are fine...you just grind your teeth during sleep and that is why you have the pain, you should get yourself a mouth guard". The first time I was very skeptical because I had never heard such a diagnosis before and as far as I know I don't grind my teeth. Since the pain was coming back I visited my regular dental service which had re-opened in the meantime and after taking a new x-ray they told me the exact same, I have nothing and probably the pain comes from grinding my teeth. I got in serious concerns because I had no intention to start wearing mouth guard and at the same time what can you do when two dentists tell you that you have no problem. Last Sunday and after a week of terrible pain I looked for an emergency dental service and I am grateful that I came across Dr Emara. He also took an x-ray but this time the diagnosis was different. "Your wisdom tooth has gone bad and gives you all this pain, needs to be extracted" It was done in two minutes and since then I am absolutely fine, feeling no pain at all. I could not be more delighted with the treatment I had and the human approach of Dr Emara who is not just an exceptional scientist but also a very kind and good human being. He took care of me and he made me feel that I am in good hands and I would strongly recommend him as an outstanding Dentist who really knows his science and he makes himself available on a Sunday afternoon .

Fantastic experience: After having the worst toothache and filling falling out I was seen late evening on a Saturday. Dr E Mara couldnt of been nicer.. I am terrified of the dentist always have been from previous awful experiences , but he put me at so much ease. Fantastic experience: Our son slipped on ice and broke his front tooth in half. It was a Sunday, of course, but we rang Dr Emara who saw us straight away. He put us all at ease the moment we walked in his door. Panic over he went to work. He carried out a root canal and implanted a temporary tooth. We were back some days later where he took moulds. A short time after that he implanted the permanent front tooth and we couldn't be happier. Just like the real thing. We highly recommend Dr Emara.

Fantastic experience: After having a cycling bike accident and losing a couple of my front teeth in August 2020, Dr E Mara was recommended to me by my brother in law. I have absolutely no regrets going to Canal View Dentist as Dr E Mara workmanship was absolutely perfect and spot on he done an amazing work on my teeth and gave me a reason to smile again , I would have no problem giving him 10 out of 10 for my implants. Fantastic experience: My 88 year old mother has Dementia and was terrified going to the dentist. She was in great distress from pain and it was difficult to find a dentist who was open on Saturday. I called Canal view dental surgery and immediately felt a sense of relief. My mother couldn't have been treated any better and is now a very happy woman. My family and I are so grateful for the patients and kindness we experienced and we would most definitely recommend this Dentist.

Fantastic experience: I rang thismorning and got an Emergency appointment for 2 hours later , on arrival I was greeted by the lovely dentist himself , from start to finish he made me feel so welcomed talked me through everything , I could not recommend him enough I had a really tough tooth extraction done and it is so clean and iam out of pain thank you canel view dental I will be definitely returning

Fantastic experience: Dr Emara saw my son at very short notice on a Saturday afternoon. My son had a really bad toothache and was in a lot of pain. Dr Emara put him completely at ease, and gently explained what was happening at each step of the procedure. I would highly recommend Dr Emara.

Negative experience: Better try somewhere else! Not following THE MANDATORY GUIDELINES OF IRISH DENTAL COUNCIL. No prices on the website or anywhere. So in the end you need leave a kidney. I paid so much money for an appointment. Nothing explained that im shocked. I will never go back.

Fantastic experience: Amazing person. Called for an emergency, my partner was in a terrible pain, Dr Emara gave us an appointment straight away, on a Saturday evening. Even though we were coming from Maynooth he waited for us and did a great job. Delighted, definitely recommending him.

Positive experience: I went to Dr. Emara after I damaged my front tooth and he did an exceptional job in an emergency to keep me calm , outline the process to getting it fixed and then completed the dentristy work over the space of a number of appointments (root canal, temporary crown, permament crown, design , sizing etc) Now you would never even know anything happened. He is a great dentist and lovely to deal with - I could not reccommend him enough!

Fantastic experience: We took my wifes aunt aged 85 to Dentist Ally in Canal View Dental Surgery on Sunday evening. She was experiencing extreme pain due to the need for an extraction. The compassion and kindness shown to her went above and beyond what should be expected in a Dental surgery. He was extremely kind and sensitive to her needs ensuring that he sought her consent for her treatment. She has been in extreme pain over the last few says and to see her improvement today was amazing. I highly recommend Dr Ally.

Was very nervous, Dr. Emara was very kind, explained everything in detail. I got an appointment after hrs,he actually waited on me as I got lost coming from Dublin 7. I will definitely go back for further treatment. Lovely clean surgery. Can't thank him enough for taking the pain away.

Fantastic experience: My daughter had a wire come loose on her braces on Saturday evening Xmas weekend. She also had a wire sticking into her gum. I tried smiles orthodontics but no answer only answering machine to be told that it was reopening on the 6th Jan. Appalling service from Smiles, I rang 4 other branches no one helped me, the Dundrum office told me that they were booked out and couldn’t take her despite the fact that she is a current patient for a no if years. I then came across Canal View Dental via Google. In a word, amazing service, immediate helpful and Dr Emara himself was outstanding calmed the whole situation took us straight away and to top it off did not charge me anything. Truly remarkable person and service, I will be returning again. Highly recommend this practice.

Fantastic experience: Dr Emara is very professional, I called in emergency at 9am Saturday morning and told me to come back at 10. He took me straight away and told me i needed to remove my wisdom tooth. He was very reassuring, since I was kind of scared, he guided me through all the steps and then in less than 5mins everything was done. I was so surprised, I didn’t feel anything! I can’t thank him enough for his professionalism and kindness.

Fantastic experience: I rang Canal View Dental Surgery on Friday morning in a lot of pain and was booked in for an appointment that evening at 6pm after work. I was delighted as most other surgeries in the area were closed by this time. Within 1 minute of my conuslation, Dr. Emara had identified the problem and gave me two options. To remove a wisdom tooth or to go on a cycle of anti inflammatories that will temporarily help ease the pain. I decided to go with removing the tooth. To my surprise, he was able to do the procedure there and then, and within 30 minutes it was complete. The procedure was not painful at all due to the anesthetic administered before, and Dr. Emara would often take breaks to assure i was comfortable throughout. Overall a very professional surgery. I would definitely recommend the Canal View Dental Surgery to anyone!

Fantastic experience: I would highly recommend this dental surgery, as I had a very complicated case including root canal treatments and crown. With professional skills and effort, Dr Emara found the best solutions in the end and the result was amazing. What I like the most is the fact that he talks you through everything to understand the treatment. He's also very flexible with timing schedule.

Fantastic experience: Highly recommend this place. Dr Emara is the best dentist I have been to. Not only that all he does is always 100% , he is really considered of his patients taking in account their pain and circumstances to schedule visit timely. I arrived with severe pain needing post rooth canal treatment which was done wrong in some other place. Of course visit was booked no problem within hours, pain managed, literally my life saved from spreading infection. This is not first time when I have been saved from pain and now loosing tooth by Dr Emara. Simply dr Emara is another level. I have total confidence in his services. On top of this his humor and kindness to his patients is so great. Crown was also fitted excellent and look perfect now. High level at everything.

We went with my wife on a Sunday unannounced with an orthodontic problem (a brace came off and was the wire was hurting the mouth), the Dr. only let us in but also take care the problem right away.
