Fantastic experience: Really great service and the reception is just so nice

Fantastic experience: Went for a checkup recently, the receptionist, Nicole and all the dental team treated me with respect and kindness throughout the process leaving none of my inquiries unanswered It was brilliantly ran from the front desk all the way through.

Fantastic experience: Was here a couple of weeks ago, I can’t compliment the staff enough. Immediately greeted by a warm and friendly receptionist, I believe her name was Nicole. She explained everything to me thoroughly and that warm pleasant energy was passed throughout my whole experience there. I will be going back.

Fantastic experience: I was in Carlow dental today, I was an emergency appointment as I recently had implants put in and temporary teeth had been placed over the implants. I didn’t get the Implants done in Carlow dental but today I received exceptional care from everyone. From the girls at reception to Jeanine the dentist and her colleague whose name I didn’t get. I want to say a massive thank you. I was quite stressed this week my temporary teeth became loose and today they were nearly out. Tonight I feel like a new woman my teeth are once again intact and I can smile again thanks to the excellent people working in Carlow dental. My sincere gratitude to all of you. Negative experience: I had 2 bad experiences with these people .I arrived for my appointment at 3pm and when i arrived i was told my my appointment was for 2pm.The second experience was 6 months ago I had 2 appointments that morning my first appointment was with the dentist and then the hygienist straight after .when i was finished i sat i in the waiting area for 3/4 of hour and then when I asked when would I being seen I was told that I couldn't be seen because I had a cold sore .image I sat there and booked in a reception and no one could tell me then .joke of a place messing people around

Fantastic experience: I recently had a weekend dental emergency and Carlow Dental Centre gave me an appointment. It is a very clean and bright space and all staff members were so helpful. I was treated by Dr Karam . He is an excellent dentist. He explained everything to me in detail and was very kind and reassuring. He carried out a very difficult procedure successfully . I would definitely recommend Dr Karam for his skill and pleasant manner .

Negative experience: Extremely bad experience in every way. Went there to re-cement a bridge which was loose (bridge was not done by them). It took 4 visits, 3 different dentists to re-cement (something which took 10 minutes in Germany) and they ruined the bridge. I was left with a gum abscess due to too much cement. They also exposed the metal of the bridge as they filed it so much. When I complained, I was sent a patronizing email and offered a refund of €200. The bridge cost more than 1000€. Absolutely atrocious in every way.

Fantastic experience: Amazing experience. I've needed a fair bit of work done post-covid isolation and was getting quite concerned about a long standing abscess. Very professional and approachable. All stages of work were well explained. No fuss, job done, life back on track, fixed and patched up ready for another pandemic!

Positive experience: Helpful receptionists. I believe they book too many appointments at once. I'm always left 20-40mins waiting for my appointments. Quite expensive dentist but perhaps they're all more expensive these days. Nice clean practice.

Negative experience: I’ve been going here for a few years and lately the quality of care has been deteriorating. Lovely reception staff but not pleased with the level of care (or lack thereof) that I have received.

Negative experience: I made an appointment with a surgeon. Instead of the surgeon they started taking pictures of my bite and treated me very nrudely.They did an x ray,l jpaid 100 euros. me that and there won't be one.there is no surgeon today and They promised to send me x ray to my email and they didn't send anything. They are engaged in deception there but they do not practice medicine there.

Fantastic experience: Booked an emergency appointment on a Sunday due to my front tooth being chipped and the bonding coming off it. Dr Salman Muhammad took his time in ensuring an excellent end result and he did a great job at explaining everything and showed great patient care. I definitely would recommend this dentist.

Negative experience: I would leave a one star review to reflect how disrespected I feel about my experience here, but I see a lot of five star reviews (and rightly so) for the conduct of the dentists. So I leave two stars for their sake, and because I want this to be taken seriously. I feel sad about leaving this review. Last year, during a standard tooth extraction, I was not prescribed antibiotics because the infection wasn't seen on the X-ray. The infection was serious, and I could not open my mouth, my throat was closing. I came back to my dentist to have it checked out and he referred me to A&E immediately. When I got to Naas General Hospital, I was triaged immediately to a hospital bed and immediately put on intravenous antibiotics, steroids and painkillers. I was transferred to St. James's for treatment and spent the better part of a week in hospital, unable to eat and too weak to move. I nearly died. Let me be clear, I understand that this happens. It is rare, sometimes people don't have their infections detected quickly. I did not feel. compelled to leave a review then, because my dentist was earnest, and kind and I could tell he was doing his best to take care of me. For my trouble, I was promised a free dental checkup when I felt I could come back. That really isn't much, and I appreciated the offer. When I did come back, I was given a thorough and professional check up. But when I asked about the free check-up, I was met with "I'm sorry, it happened last year and that dentist doesn't work here anymore". One hundred euro for a checkup is not so much in the grand scheme of things. I spent far more than that as a result of being hospitalised. It would be such a minor thing to follow through on that promise of a free check-up, as a courtesy for what happened to me, that I am stunned by the lack of empathy from the clerical staff. It would have been nice for the suffering to have been recognised by a small gesture. I would have come back here to have my teeth fixed, because I know, despite the mistake that nearly killed me, they are professional and good at what they do. Mistakes happen. But I can't give them any more of my money because the whole experience has left me with a bad taste in my mouth. I cannot recommend this place. Edit: I respond to the response I got for this review. I removed the image of me in hospital on an IV drip and will continue to the include the photo I took of my receipt alongside the list of antibiotics and medicines I was prescribed upon leaving the hospital. The response claims that I did not notify the dental centre until a year afterward. This cannot be true: I was given a referral letter (attached) to the emergency department and my father paid a visit to discuss the outcome with my dentist, who apologised for the hospitalisation. And with regard to the concern that my review does not reflect the standard of care I received, I will note that when I brought these issues up with who I presume is the manager, he dismissed me with derision after perhaps thirty seconds of speaking. I invite the respondent to clarify exactly what is misleading about the image I include. I ask them to respond to my actual concern, the disrespect I received, and the dismissal, not the fact that they charged me for a service I could have gotten elsewhere. I invite them to explain the assertion that they did not know about this until afterwards, when it was with their referral letter that I was triaged. I invite them to explain why they try to frighten me into removing the images that explain my experience. Readers of this review can consider the effort I have gone to to illustrate my story, and judge how I must feel to write this, while staying paying respect to the staff who earned it. Readers of this review can consider whether they would want their loved ones to be treated with such contempt. This practice lacks compassion, admitting no interest in reaching out to their hospitalised patients for a year. They do care, though only about your money. There are other practices in Carlow, trust them with your life.

Fantastic experience: I have been attending Carlow Dental for 10+ years. William and his team run an amazing full service practice. I’m beyond impressed with the care I received at Carlow Dental. The results exceeded my expectations, and I’m so grateful for their expertise.

Fantastic experience: Today I called the clinic and spoke to Asha in regards to my query with teeth whitening. She explained the process of the at home whitening kit along with the breakdown of the cost. I was extremely happy with her assistance and booked in for a consultation, couldn't recommend her enough!

She was unbelievably helpful and was able to answer all my queries regarding treatment options and pricing. Fantastic experience: Dr William is an exceptional dentist and his attention to detail to my care especially as I had such a fear was phenomenal, my comfort was always put first. After years of not having the confidence to smile he has given it back to me. I can honestly say I have never come across staff from reception, hygienist, dental nurse and of course Dr William to be so courteous and unjudgmental and to go above for me my biggest regret will always be not going sooner

Fantastic experience: I rang CDC last week or so enquiring about upper and lower partial dentures, I spoke to a lovely lady called Alisha, very polite on the phone, she listened to what I was enquiring about and said that she would ring me back once she had the information. Within 15 mins Alisha rang me back with a price on the dentures and info on any other treatments I might need like fillings etc. Alisha was extremely helpful, great customer service

Fantastic experience: I've been to many dentists in my time and CDC is by far the best experience that I have had. They are very friendly, use new techniques and are not pushy at all. Growing up I always had a fear of dentists due to some really scary experiences when I was a kid but CDC always made me feel very comfortable with every visit. I couldn't recommend them enough!

My dentist was dimitri who was great from the first consultation,and when he began the work he explained everything step by step,nothing was to much trouble he even asked i wanted a break,an absolutely lovely man and he's assistant was the same. Fantastic experience: The best experience I've had with any dental company. I got my braces with Carlow Dental Centre and experienced little to no discomfort and I was delighted with the end results. I continue to attend the Hygenist department with Karen. She is excellent at her job, very thorough and again no pain or discomford when getting my teeth cleaned. Karen is very chatty and takes great interest in her clients, making the time in her chair seem very short, which is ideal for anyone who may be in any way nervous of going to the dentist. Can not recommend Carlow Dental Centre enough and in particular their Hygenist Karen.

Fantastic experience: I have been a patient of CDC for around 10 years now. I had a tooth implant done by Dr Krisztian and his team of true experts. The clinic itself is absolutely beautiful, spotless clean, they have top class equipment, the team of doctors and nurses are super nice and caring, I have never experienced better care at any other dental clinic before. I am extremely happy with the process of getting the implant itself, the care during the years I have had it. I will highly recommend Dr Krisztian and all of his team to anyone. Fantastic experience: Hard to believe this is a dental practice , Problems I have always found with Dentist , expensive , hard to get appointment and never open after 5 pm or Saturday or Sundays Carlow Dental Practice are very well priced , the reception staff are great to help with appointments and they are open 7 days a week , I am attending them over a year now and they are like family , the standard , quality and experience are second to none . All staff from admin to to Dentist are great . I am so happy with their service I have convinced my wife to go there too . I highly recommend CDC for all dental care . Update Attending here now nearly two years , they are very professional and super patient care from all the staff , putting you and the the health of your teeth first . That are open 7 days a week all year and always take your call. You will not need to take out a mortgage to pay the fees , best service and best price . Thank you to all the staff for the fantastic job you do.

Both the Dentist and dental nurse were really nice and I was very lucky the oral surgeon was able to fit me in and extract my wisdom tooth on the same day. Highly recommend the centre.

Negative experience: I would just like to say I was very surprised at the 300.40 euro charged ! The dentist told me he did not have the time for the proceedure that I was booked for for today.So he did a filling instead. Have I been charged incorrectly?

Fantastic experience: Excellent service today. Very fast. Hardly felt the two injections which I was dreading.

Negative experience: went in for an assessment, I was given a treatment plan with all the price. I decided to go and remove my wisdom tooth. As per the treatment plan and price I was told it would be cost me 150 euro. On the treatment day I was sitting on the dental chair and came a surprise of an additional 150 euro for a 3d scan. It is a very ridiculous way of giving a bill. CDC knew before hand that they would need to do a scan unless they are doing it for the first time. I am surely not happy the way this was done, they should have added this in the treatment plan price. At first I thought this was a one of case and did not take it seriously, yesterday I took my son to take an openion on his tooth again a treatment plan was given with a price, during the price discuss suddenly another similar thing popup. Oh by the way you need to pay another 150 euro every 3months for the next 2years as part of cleaning that is in addition to the price mentioned . I was almost ready for the treatment of my son but this put me off and decided to hold on because I am not sure what surprise comes next. I am sure this could be included in the plan and be clear in the first place. I have also decided to hold my further treatment. I went to smiles no complications advice price no extra cost. simple treatment. finished the treatment for my son. no tooth pullout and very happy now

Negative experience: Went in for a complete cleanup, told them I would not accept them doing a partial job and leaving bits untouched. They assured me they wouldnt and of course I got home and saw they had left areas and lines untouched and uncleaned. When I complained, they offered to 'cancel my next appointment'. So, rubbish service, rubbish customer care.

Negative experience: I rang 2 time's on Friday evening as my crown broke. My partner also rang and left a message that it was important that I try and see someone. At 910am the phone rang twice I didn't hear it only looked at my phone. I rang back straight away it was a man on the phone he said there was no appointment free. I asked him why did he ring me. He said wait a minute to tell me they had nothing free. I went up stairs and was crying to my partner. He said ring back and beg them. A half hour later I did. A lady came on the phone. She said she rang me twice and my partner once. But also said there was nothing available. I was so up set. She said if there was a cancellation she would call me. She did call back and said there was a place free at 3pm on Sunday. I said I was going back to Co. Limerick. She said are you sure you don't want it and if you do you have to pay a deposit of 100 euros. I was shocked as i never had to do this before. 100 euros with out seeing me how much is this going to cost l said no thanks as I am going home. Then she rang at 2pm to say there was a place free at 5pm today. At this stage I could not sit no where so up set since Friday night. I find the hole experience terrible. Especially 100 euros and they don't even know what is wrong. Plus i am 64 years old and have been very ill. This was the final nail in the coffin. I find the hole experience degrading and embarrassing. I was only in kilkenny for the weekend. I wont ever forget it. I told that to the lady on the phone. But it didn't matter, that would never happen in Tipperary or limerick. Margaret Shanahan.
