Rose-Marie Daly Dentistry for Children

Fantastic experience: Rose-Marie Daly Dentistry for Children is nothing short of 5 stars, the standard of care is second to none. Finn struggles with a little of anxiety along with his ADHD, this all adds to the stress of any difficult appointments for him. All of Finn's needs where met, all his treatments where complete in a very relaxed enviorment with zero complaints from him. We highly recommend this practice, it is so professional & the staff are trainned to the highest of standards. We are truly greatful for the very gentle but efficient approach they used, Finn came away with a smile he is proud of.

Negative experience: Our experience at this clinic was extremely disappointing. Despite our daughter having a documented heart condition and being in pain, her treatment was repeatedly delayed and poorly managed. Multiple appointments were held with minimal progress, and when treatment was finally initiated, it was not aligned with the most appropriate or conservative care standards. We later obtained an independent evaluation from a licensed European paediatric dental clinic, which confirmed that a much simpler solution could have been applied much earlier, avoiding unnecessary stress and cost. Communication was often unclear, and when we raised concerns, the clinic refused to take responsibility or offer any resolution. We have since filed a formal complaint with the Dental Complaints Resolution Service (DCRS) in Ireland, and we would advise other parents to carefully consider their options before attending this clinic. Children deserve better.

Fantastic experience: Dr Daly is so incredible. My 6 year old is extremely nervous and we had a procedure done under general anaesthetic to minimise the stress on her. Although nerve wracking, we were in and out in a few hours and my daughter had her procedure done stress free. Always the best care and the nurses and reception staff are unbelievable and friendly: very grateful to have Dr Daly as our dentist.

At two previous dentists, the suggested treatment plans and communication just didn’t feel right, so I did some searching for other pediatric dentists and came across Rose-Marie at Northern Cross. From the very moment I spoke with Louise at reception, I felt we had landed at the right place and have never looked back. Rose-Marie and her wonderful team took such great care of my son (and myself). They have such a kind and caring manner while also providing the best service and treatment. Negative experience: A truly awful experience for my wife and kids, Rose-Marie's outdated methods have left a lasting impact, even weeks later. This is the first review i have ever written online but felt compelled to warn other potential patients.

Fantastic experience: I've brought my two boys to Rose-Marie and the team for years now and it's really helped them get over their fear of the dentist. The team are so warm and welcoming and the toys and screens they use to help the kids enjoy their experience is just brilliant. My eldest had fillings done recently and ran into school afterwards to tell all his friends which to me shows how relaxed he was about the entire visit.

Fantastic experience: My daughter has autism and mild general learning difficulties. The HSE won't see her as she is too difficult. Rosemary and her team have been fantastic getting my daughter to allow her teeth to be checked and brushed and coated which would never have happened without the team. They are so kind and understanding. Great patience and understanding. Definitely recommend.

Fantastic experience: If I could only give more than 5 stars I would. My daughter Jessica has been attending Dr Daly for over 5 years. Jessica has additional needs and unfortunately spent a lot of time in hospital as a baby. She was traumatised going to any appointment as a result. Dr Daly and her team were so kind and patient with Jessica and at each appointment they gave her the time to settle in and explain what was happening. They would put on her favourite cartoons, and sing nursery rhymes during examinations. When we first presented to Dr Daly Jessica had extensive decay due to drinking high protein/sugar milk as a baby. A plan was put in place and as a result we managed over time to stop the decay from spreading. Jessica’s grown up teeth have now erupted and they look really healthy. Jessica actually now looks forward to going to the dentist. I never thought that would ever be the case. I wouldn’t go anywhere else only Dr Daly and would highly recommend her to others. Fantastic experience: We met Rose-Marie Daly and Louise unexpectedly when our toddler fell and broke his front two teeth. We received excellent care, to our child and to us as parents from Rose-Marie, Lou and the entire team in the clinic. The clinic is designed to make children feel at ease and the information and guidance from the start really helped in preparation for the extensive care our son needed. Although our paths crossed unexpectedly, we have had the best experience possible from start to finish and we will continue to visit Rose-Marie for all future check ups. Fantastic experience: We where referred to Rose-Marie in 2022 after it was noted that James baby teeth appeared shell like and extremely weak and frail. Rose-Maries first priority was to ensure James was in no pain and applied a specialised gel to preserve the baby teeth until he was old enough to under go anaesthetist to address the underlining issue. During the last two years we found Rose-Marie and her wonderful team extremely helpful, understanding, supportive and kind. James treatment was of the highest quailty and standard. James has recently underwent anaesthetist treatement with Rose-Marie and the results are absolutely beautiful. The prodedure has restored his little smile and more importantly his confidence. (he will not stop smiling and is now ready for big school) We where intially very nervous about the procedure but Rose-Marie and her team were always at hand to answer question, concerns and provide us with reassurance. Everything was extremely transparent, straighforward and made easy for us, incuding James. I also have my eldest son attending as a patient and both my boys just love Rose-Marie and the team (who would have ever thought kids liking the dentist :) We highly recommend Rose-Marie Daly and her team of high quailty professionals.

Fantastic experience: A truly great experience, everybody was so helpful to my young son, he is only 4 years old and had to get teeth pulled. We were very apprehensive and nervous about the whole procedure but we couldn't have asked for things to go any smoother. The staff were so lovely and made my son feel like he was at home, could not recommend Rose Mary Daly enough to any parents enquiring about their children to get a procedure done in regards to extractions. 5 stars easy.

Fantastic experience: My daughter recently had her first consultation at Rose-Marie dental practice. We were welcomed so nicely into the child friendly atmosphere by the most friendly nurse my daughter was delighted she got a colouring page and it was a nice distraction for her as we waited.She is 7 and after a previous extraction and negative experiences at other dentists she has a lot of anxiety and nerves , she now needs some dental work done again due to cavities this is the reason we were referred to Rose-Marie’s practice . Rose -Marie explained everything to me clearly and respectfully I felt listened to and very importantly not judged and we are awaiting our treatment plan . I was very much at ease and relieved when I left knowing we are going to get the dental care she needs all while putting the child’s care first and making it comfortable and a positive experience for the child.

Fantastic experience: My daughter has been attending Dr. Daly for over two years now. My daughter spent the first six months of her life in Crumlin Children's Hospital and has a complex medical history, speech delay and SPD. Dr Daly and Elizabeth are so kind and gentle with my daughter. They never rush her and have allowed her to settle into the dental practice. Before we came to Dr Daly no dentist was able to examine her and she would go into full meltdown mode. Dr Daly is a miracle worker, akin to a child whisperer she is just magical at calming and gaining the trust of children with additional needs. I am so grateful to have Dr Daly and her lovely team looking after us.

Fantastic experience: My daughter, 8, has an extreme fear of the dentist. She has learning difficulties and it can be hard to explain things to her. After being told by 2 other dentists, they were unable to treat her, I found Rose-Marie Daly online, she was my last hope. Everything was so child friendly, from the video that is sent, explaining what happens in the clinic to actually getting there and colouring, my daughter was so relaxed by the time we met Dr Daly. After examination a treatment plan was sent to me. I am happy to say all the treatment has been completed and I am a very happy Mum. If you have a child with I fear of the dentist, I highly recommend a trip to Dr Daly.

Fantastic experience: We've been coming to Dr. Daly for years. When my kids hear that we are due for a visit they celebrate and say "yey!! We are going to the dentist"! Dr. Daly is professional, kind and extremely helpful. The staff is phenomenal and the whole atmosphere is just perfect for children. Highly recommended.

Fantastic experience: I would highly recommend that place. We went with our 2yo daughter who had dental caries on 4 of her front upper teeth. 2 of them were almost completely decayed. After an interview and a couple of questions from Dr Rose, she found the cause of the problem. She advise us to stop breast feeding her at night and she applied Silver Diamine Fluoride (SDF) on our daughter teeth to stop the caries to progress. We were happy with this solution as the other dentist we went before advise us to remove the teeth and that meant that we would have to put our daughter to sleep which we wanted to avoid. SDF treatment helped a lot, but we had to do our job as well which was stop night breast feeding and brushing her teeth twice a day. We are happy that we avoided anaesthetic on our little one as well as we bought ourselves some time for later treatment to rebuild these teeth. Dr Rose-Marie is very nice and professional person. 100% trustable place.

Fantastic experience: My 10 year old daughter suffers with bad anxiety . She had had 2 bad experiences with other dentist trying to remove a baby tooth with a cavity . We were referred to Rosemary Daly dentist for treatments. We attended Rosemary Daly dentist on out first vist as soon as we entered the dentist we were made feel so welcome we were welcomed by a lovely friendly receptionist Louise I think her name was . Dr Daly made a treatment plan for my daughter my daughter actually asked after our first appointment when can we go back . Dr Daly was brilliant with my daughter spoke her through everything I could not believe how I was able to get my daughter ti the dentist without any hastle .I can’t thank the staff and Rosemary enough for their patience with Holly and for making Hollys expierience of visting the dentist such a nice experience . Fantastic experience: We highly recommend Rose-Marie Daly Dentistry for Children. My 9 year old son unfortunately has very weak enamel and has suffered alot over the years. After trying multiple general dentists, his issues were not getting any better and he was beginning to fear going to the dentist. We were referred to Dr. Daley and she helped so much. After detailed examinations, she thoroughly came up with a plan. Dr. Daley not only treats existing problems, but she also comes up with detailed plans to prevent future ones! She is great with children and helps them feel relaxed. Her dental nurse Elizabeth is wonderful, as well the rest of the staff. They are all so friendly and have lovely manners about them. We are so thrilled with our son's progress. I do believe every child would benefit going to a dentist for children. It's s important for children to feel at ease going to the dentist. If you're looking for one, we highly recommend Dr. Rose-Marie Daly.

Fantastic experience: My 5 year-old son following a routine check-up, needed treatment under general anesthetic. I was stressed, but Dr Daly and her practice team were patient with my questions and needs. Everything went smoothly and he has recovered well. He feels proud of his 'steel teeth' now and was very relaxed attending the post-operative check-up. Dr Daly and her team do create an environment that is child friendly and observing children respond to that is lovely.

Fantastic experience: I can't recommend Dr Rose-Marie and her staff enough my 8 year old daughter who is autistic and can be quite sensory had cleaning and a tooth fixed I have never seen her so relaxed and calm in a dentist chair everyone was amazing with her thank you all so much

Fantastic experience: My two girls, age 8 and 10 are attending Rose-Marie Daly Dentistry for a year now. We were referred due to dental anxiety for my older girl and complicated dental problems with my younger girl. Both are being looked after so well by Dr. Rose-Marie and her team. Extraction of 2 adult teeth has been as easy as check up appointments. I wish I had a dentist like Rose-Marie in my life when I was a young teen having 4 adult teeth removed in one week for orthodontic reasons. I cannot recommend her highly enough.

Fantastic experience: My son (aged 7) first attended Dr Daly's practice following a recommendation from a family member. Rose-Marie and all the team are very professional and experienced and the service is excellent. They ensure that my son is treated with kindness and respect at each visit. They explain things to him in a clear, simple way and he is very comfortable with going. I would highly recommend this practice.

Fantastic experience: Rose Marie really listened to my concerns as a parent and came up with a sensible, stress free solution. My daughter is very at ease in her care, and had no worries going back for her post op check up. Her approach to after care is phenomenal, and under her guidance, we know we are in safe and very reliable hands. The dental nurse at the practice Elizabeth also deserves a mention for her caring manner with children, and her ability to encourage and engage a nervous patient.

Fantastic experience: We are really happy with my daughters treatment under Dr Rose-Marie Daly's care. My daughter had some teeth that required treatment and some loose teeth which enoyed my daughter and Dr Daly removed the loose baby teeth, fixed all teeth that needed treatment, scanned all teeth and took care of everything that needed any attention while my daughter was under General Anesthetic. My daughter has special needs and will not allow for any treatment without being under anesthesia. My daughter did very well under Dr Dalys treatment. We went after the procedure for an post treatment check up to make sure everything heals well. I know, that my daughter is in good hands here.

Fantastic experience: Really wonderful experience in the care of Dr Daly. My 4yo had to have a small procedure under general anaesthetic, which I was very worried about but the day itself ran so smoothly, the staff in the hospital were incredible, they really settled our nerves and made us all feel at ease. I was so relieved to have it all done with no upset and my little girl has her smile back and has no negative association with the dentist now! Best decision we made!

Fantastic experience: My 12 year old son struggled with his dental visits due to anxiety. This all changed when he started attending Rose-Marie Daly Dentistry where he was treated with great kindness, understanding and patience. Rose-Marie & her team were able to progress the treatment he needed in a calm & friendly atmosphere without him experiencing any upset or stress. We are extremely grateful for all they have done for him & for giving him the confidence to deal with his dental treatment.

Fantastic experience: We were referred to Dr Daly after my daughter (9 years old) had a traumatic experience elsewhere. From the minute we met Dr Daly both myself and my daughter were put at ease by the empathy and kindness Dr Daly showed to my daughter and myself. My son required primary root canal treatment and was a little nervous about getting the needle. Fantastic experience: We cannot recommend Dr Rose-Marie Daly highly enough. Our son's treatment went so well and we got such expert care from the very first consultation. It was only the second time our son had been to a dentist but Dr Rose-Marie was so kind and reassuring that he relaxed and sailed thorough some extensive dental work. We also received excellent advice on his diet and management of dental hygiene which has really proved invaluable.

Fantastic experience: My daughter Sarah who is 5 yrs old, attended Dr Daly for a surgical procedure and post operative care. From start to finish Dr Daly and her staff were amazing with Sarah especially on the day of her procedure. They took the time to make sure Sarah was at ease and comfortable in her surroundings. During the build up to Sarahs procedure any questions we had Dr Daly took the time to respond to each one we asked her, which is greatly appreciated as a parent. Fantastic experience: My son has an ASD diagnosis, he is on the spectrum. He can be terribly sensitive and has some sensory issues. Unfortunately, he had a lot of issues with his baby teeth and dental health. Dr Daly was recommended by my excellent dentist. What followed was the most wonderful, thoughtful and sensitive care for my son. He bounced back from a dental surgery which avoided months and months of invasive treatments. He has no fear of the Dentist (only a healthy hesitation until his questions are answered). Dr Daly and their team made my son the priority, as well as educating me on dental matters that I thought I already knew. Dr Daly and her team have the most wonderful manner. They are approachable and genuinely care for the child's best interests. I highly recommend, especially for any neuro-diverse children.

Fantastic experience: I just want to say a big Thank you to Dr. Daly and her team for the outstanding treatment they gave Paris from our very first visit to her practice. Paris had a really bad experience prior to seeing Dr. Daly in a different dentist and now she loves coming to see Dr. Daly. She is at so much ease and she isn’t frightened anymore of going to the dentist. We have a good bit of journey to come to see Dr. Daly but I wouldn’t go elsewhere and it really is worth it. It is such a relaxing environment and to see how much Paris’s teeth have come along, I would highly recommend Dr. Daly. It has been a pleasure over the last few years.

Negative experience: Went in with a tooth pain, paid 170€ and my son only got his teeth counted . We were in and out in 10minutes. That's all , even to this day we don't know why is he in pain. They said I should receive a treatment plan and a report of the check they did by email. 2 weeks later I haven't received anything , I have emailed them back and no response. Just a rip off ! Really not recommended !

Negative experience: Not recommended this clinical, I do not recommend it, this is a real rip-off of money, a child of 9 years old to write to the dentist needs a deposit of 50 € to cover the hole, in the end 30 minutes conversation with the doctor another 120 €, when I said that I was dear as a single mother and I could not afford it. at the hse local clinic, my daughters cured a tooth according to the school program for free, I called and wrote a letter that I want to cancel the entry and return the deposit, they replied that it is not refundable, how to understand this during the recording, there was no talk about that he did not return, very not human and this disgusting attitude, I do not recommend, for the first time such an attitude,

Fantastic experience: My son attends Rose-Marie's dental practice and I could not recommend her more. Very professional with a magic way of dealing with children under her care. Rose-Marie is open and happy to answer any questions and explains the processes in terminology I could easily understand. All of the staff are so friendly and welcoming. My son's favourite person there is Elizabeth, Rose-Marie's assistant. She has a natural chatty personality and is very good at finding something in common with the patience, for example - my son wore a marvel t-shirt on 1 visit and she chatted away to him all about Iron man, Loki, Bucky...completed put myself and my son at ease. I one million % recommend Rose-Marie Daly Dentistry for Children.

The quality of work was outstanding and as parents we got a detailed step by step plan in advance for the procedures that my son required. Fantastic experience: My 7 year old son Finn was referred to Dr Daly by our own dentist who felt that Finn needed to be treated by a paediatrician dentist. Finn had a very bad abscess/gum infection, he also needed extractions, crowns and other preventative work. Dr Daly clearly outlined to me in writing what work Finn needed along with a timescale and breakdown of cost. Dr Daly is exactly the type of person you would want to treat your child. She has a lovely way about her and a very calm approach. Herself and Elizabeth, the dental nurse, were so kind, patient and gentle with Finn which was very reassuring to see as a parent. It also meant that Finn actually enjoyed his visits to the surgery! I would like to thank Dr Daly and all of her team for the pleasant experience that both Finn and myself had at your surgery. I will be making appointments for my two other children shortly. I would highly recommend Dr Daly without hesitation. Fantastic experience: We couldn't recommend Nothern Cross Dentistry highly enough! We were referred to Dr Daly with our 8 yr old son who was in severe pain. As a boy with additional sensory needs she was able to assess him without causing any upset at all. She organised surgery during the Covid 19 lockdown, which we thought would be impossible and will always be grateful for. It is wonderful to see our boy back to his happy self and pain free.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Rose-Marie Daly, You have been an absolute pleasure to deal with. You have saved my boy from excruciating pain during this covid pandemic and I am so grateful. The HSE could not offer my son the treatment he required but Dr. Daly showed much compassion and empathy towards my son. She has been very knowledgeable concerning his additional sensory and communication needs. Both my son and I were very relaxed in her presence. Her complicated medical and sensory issues were never a problem for Dr Daly. The rapport she has with my daughter is wonderful. We live in cork and are more than happy to travel to dublin for Dr Dalys knowledge, experience and compassion.

Fantastic experience: My son Finn is a different child since he has been attending Dr. Daly. The care, attention and compassion she has shown him is nothing short of first class. From being a child who was terrified to step inside a dentist, to now being able to go in and follow her instructions calmly and without any upset. Going to the dentist previously was a nighmare and stressful for everyone. We got such excellent advice from her as well for maintaining his teeth. Worth every cent. It’s not a nice experience or feeling having dental issues with your young child but Rose-Marie was such a support through the whole thing - from making his first visit relaxed for both him (and me!!) to giving us the best advice and option to suit his case. Fantastic experience: I couldn't recommend this dentistry highly enough. Had pretty severe teeth issues with my little 4 year old girl & the initial prognosis was removal of teeth via surgery from my local dentist. Rosemary & the team carefully analysed everything & came up with an alternative. Even though this avoided heading down the local anaesthetic route it did mean multiple visits & extractions The care/professionalism & patience shown by all involved was immense & we got to the promised land in the end. Just back from a follow up, all is great & my little one was very enthusiastic & delighted with her day out. This speaks volumes of the great work done by everyone in the surgery. Big thank you to Rosemary/Cormac & all the team who helped us, really appreciate it.

Fantastic experience: Due to my sons sensory issues, we were thrilled with the Tooth Fairy and the teams kind and professional way they treated me (anxious mother) and my son who has multiple challenges and needs. I could not recommended them enough.

Fantastic experience: I took my 4 years old daughter to Northern Cross after very bad experiences with other "pediatric dentists". From the moment you call you already feel at ease dealing with professionals that understand your concerns and stress. Cormarc is a fantastic receptionist, helpful, with lots of knowledge and very good with people, before going in the clinic they send you and email with lots of information on how to prepare your child so they can have a positive experience. The clinic is tailor made for children, my daughter was terrified from previous experiences and from the moment she entered the clinic she was happy due to she felt it was a playground more than a dentist. Dr Daly is an amazing pediatric dentist, she manage to get my daughter in the chair and do a full examination and also a cleaning with my daughter relax and willing to collaborate. My daughter has to go under general anesthetic due to mayor dental work but Dr Daly gave me 3 different options detailing the treatments and prices for me to go home and think about it, which I appreciated due to I was given the opportunity to decide taking into account my daughter's well being and my budget. Before she was taken into hospital (Beacon) I had so much information sent to me from Dr Daly that I was relax and in control of the situation. I cannot recommend enough Dr Daly and her team as Pediatric Dentist, thank you so much for your care, professionalism and for changing the trauma into a wonderful experience.
