Fantastic experience: This is the only dentist I will go to, when I was young I had a bad experience with a dentist and it took me a long time to go again. Dr. Melvin makes me feel comfortable and safe

Fantastic experience: I recently brought my 2 children (age 3 and 5) for their check ups, and we were seen by Dr Slattery. She was fantastic, so good with the children, put all of us at ease, while also very thorough and informative. it was a really positive 1st visit to the dentist for my son, and i am still in disbelief that my 5 year old allowed her teeth to be cleaned!! highly recommend this practice

Fantastic experience: My whole family attend Dr Melvin’s practice. The hygienists are super, the staff are so friendly and put you at your ease. Two of my children have had orthodontics and are both really happy with the results. Dr Melvin is always friendly and welcoming. My husband and I have both had crown work done at the practice with zero discomfort. I would strongly recommend this practice.

Fantastic experience: My brother and have both had orthodontics with Dr Melvin. The care and attention were second to none! We both have beautiful smiles which we take care of by visiting Sonja, the hygienist every six months. I always enjoy my visits to the surgery as the staff are so friendly. Negative experience: I hope people read reviews about this dentist and never go there. I visited the clinic for a dental hygiene and a check up as one of my upper tooth was really sore at the time. Well, after the dentist Elizabeth checked my teeth, I was informed I had no cavity at all and that the pain in my upper tooth was “ a sensitive tooth “ and it should get better after the dental hygiene. As a result of that negligence “ sensitive tooth “ I’m having to have a root canal, obviously done with another dentist. I called the clinic today and asked for the dentist notes. It’s written that I had a cavity on my lower tooth Well, I was not aware of that as what I had on my lower tooth was a filling replacement to be done??? And it also says that I was complaining about a pain on my upper tooth that would be checked in the next appointment. She probably forgot to mention that she told me I had no cavities at all . And that the only reason I was going to get a next appointment was because I asked her for the filling replacement on my lower tooth and not because she was going to check my upper tooth . As I was informed I had no cavities I never went back for the filling replacement as I decided to wait and because I also found her extremely rude. Now for my upper tooth it’s costing me an arm and a leg for a canal. This could have been avoided if an X-ray was taken and the cavity treated .

Fantastic experience: Dr. Melvin has been my dentist for over a decade (and Sonya been my hygienist for just as long I think!). Over the years I have had 2 emergency appointments with them, the latest was yesterday. I can thank the team enough (Brid too!) for an amazing job in removing an old filling and rebuilding my tooth and saving it from landfill. Really impressive outcome and what's more I didn't feel a thing. Great dentists and hygienists, would recommend to anyone.

Fantastic experience: Dr Melvin provided braces for me after I was declined from two dentists as being recommended to undergo expensive jaw reconstruction surgery before any dental work. This came as a surprise to me as in my opinion my teeth were not terrible, just some straightness was all i wanted. Dr Melvin fitted Damon braces and did regular adjustments to fit my crossbite. After less than two years, my teeth are perfect and what I always wanted. Dr Melvin is an excellent dentist, hugely compassionate and great at what she does and I would recommend her for anyone thinking of braces. Her staff are equally excellent and very friendly.

Negative experience: This is what happens when you trust a dentist to give you a good referral for a root canal. Shoddy work from her colleague over in Donnybrook. A year later, it needed an extraction

Negative experience: Conveniently neglected to tell me that tax payers are eligible for a free appt with the hygienist and charged me for my appointment! There should be a penalty for this money-making activity. Very disingenuous

Fantastic experience: My 13 year old daughter has just completed getting her braces done with Elizabeth. She made my daughter feel so comfortable that she was going down on her own for appointments. When her teeth were finally unveiled, they were amazing! Job well done. We are very, very pleased.

Fantastic experience: Wonderful hygienist called Salina, she really loves what she does!!!
