Fantastic experience: Sou paciente da Dr Kelly a 7 anos, desde do meu primeiro ano de Irlanda, já havia feito tratamento com outros doutores porém para ser honesto a Dr Kelly está sem dúvidas além do profissional, sempre me tratou com muito profissionalismo e dedicação, super recomendo aos que não só estão procurando por um dentista mas também alguém que possa confiar com um tratamento adequado aqui na Irlanda. “Destaco um ponto especial do atendimento para agendar consultas, sempre cordiais e buscando soluções para ambos lados, pois como tenho que viajar para realizar os atendimentos as vezes acabo atrasando ao chegar devido imprevistos com o trânsito“. Tenho apenas gratidão e um carinho muito grande aos profissionais desse lugar.

Negative experience: DON’T RECOMMEND!!! I’ll tell my case so you people understand why I don’t recommend! I had a broken tooth and I went to Dra. Kelly to do an implant, she said she could do it with a partner and we booked an appointment for June 9, 2022. To my surprise when I arrived there was a Brazilian dentist from Portugal to do my implant (she didn’t do anything on that day) I underwent a surgical procedure to remove a broken tooth in preparation for a dental implant. The first time the implant was placed, the dentist delayed the procedure and, when it was finally done, the implant was poorly fitted — there was insufficient filling, which caused a constant gap between the gum and the tooth. As a result, food would frequently get stuck in that space, making it uncomfortable and unsanitary. I went to other dentists to ask for second opinion and 3 dentists refused to do my case, saying that was poorly made and I should go back to the person who treated me in the first time! I tried to explain my situation to Dr. Kelly and we started an argument in the clinic… She had the courage to say that I shouldn’t have visited others dentists, and she tried to blame me me saying that I was in a rush to have my tooth read, so that was the reason that my tooth was like that…! After many complaints and considerable stress, the dentist agreed to redo the implant at no additional cost. However, the situation continued to deteriorate. Over the next two years, I had to repeatedly message her to request appointments. She would either schedule dates far in the future or say that the crown wasn’t ready yet. Eventually, she completely forgot about my case (she told me that the dentist in Portugal was to send the crown and he forgot it), so from the scanner to the appointment to was 6 months of waiting. I had to chase her down with multiple messages to finally get her attention again. And of course after 6 months my other tooth started to move it, and the space for the crown wasn’t the same as before and once again, it was done incorrectly. I returned to her clinic and informed her that food was still getting trapped in the same area, as the implant was again poorly positioned. At that point, she told me it would be better to refund the money that I paid for the crown (650€) so could continue the treatment elsewhere. I have paid 770€ for the extraction that left me to this day with paresthesia (nerve damage) resulting from the original surgery (she never refunded me for that) and I have been without a proper tooth for over three years — all while being led on and treated with disregard and disorganization. In addition to the poor clinical results, the dentist’s overall conduct has been deeply unprofessional: • She repeatedly delayed treatment. • She forgot about my case entirely. • Her clinic is disorganized, and patients enter the treatment room during appointments. • She shows a lack of care, attention, and respect toward her patients. • She books more than one person for the same time and she is ALWAYS late (like 40m to 1h late). This has been a long and painful experience, both physically and emotionally.

Fantastic experience: I highly recommend this dentist. They were very friendly and professional and reasonably priced.

Negative experience: I do not recommend it! I used to go to doctor Kelly years ago and she was always late, more than 40 minutes, and even double booked me once. A good professional but a shameful manager and administrator of her business. Anyway, Years later I took a friend to the clinic because I believed the orthodontist’s service was good and because it was an emergency, and again years later I was greeted with disappointment. Not to mention that you call the clinic that never has a receptionist, and the phone number is for a general reception, in Portugal. What is it?! A business in Ireland for over 3 years, with professionals who cannot serve a client in English. The good prices are not worth my peace.

Negative experience: AVOID! Very disappointed with my experience here. I arrived five minutes early at 3:25pm for my 3:30pm appointment for a routine clean. There was no one at reception. I waited for ten minutes with no sign of any staff, despite clearly hearing laughter and chatting from a nearby room, where it sounded like two staff members and a patient were having a casual conversation. As I had been waiting a while, I went to find the bathroom. On the way, I passed the room where the noise was coming from. A staff member saw me and came out to ask where I was going. I asked for the location of the bathroom, which she pointed out - but she didn’t ask who I was or whether I had an appointment. When I returned, the reception was still unattended. I sat and waited patiently, despite not even a simple acknowledgement or courtesy update from anyone - no apology, no explanation, not even a "we're running behind today." What I found particularly frustrating was that the same staff member later came out and started chatting in Portuguese with two other patients who were waiting, yet she made no effort to acknowledge me at all. She was about to go back into the room when I stopped her and explained that no one was at reception and I hadn’t been able to check in for my appointment - now 15 minutes late at 3:45pm. Her response? A simple "OK" before returning to the room. No apology. No effort to assist or communicate further. Meanwhile, the laughter and conversation in that room continued (the door was open the entire time), as though it were a social gathering rather than a place of business. It was clear there was a complete disregard for patients’ time or experience. At 3:55pm, having waited thirty minutes with no engagement or explanation, I left. Unsurprisingly, no one came to check on me or followed up. I will not be returning and certainly would not recommend this practice to others.

Negative experience: In addition to the delay in service, visibly dirt and lack of hygiene. My husband had to do a "simple" restoration on the tooth and superficial and that unfortunately led him to have unbearable pain since then. He returned to the office and the dentist didn't even review the procedure, she said that the problem would be the two wisdom teeth he has (and he never had problems or pain related to it). You can't trust a professional who does this, in addition to everything he had to pay with the consultation held because of a medical imprudence and still pay for X-ray examination. we will definitely look into our rights

Fantastic experience: Somente tenho a agradecer a Doutora Kelly, por ter resolvido dois problemas que estavam me tirando o sono, ja estava achando que só iria resolver no Brasil ( implante solto que era o mais serio e uma coroa quebrada), por aqui não queriam nem abrir para ver qual era a chave para ajustar o implante, por ser de outro pais, a Doutora Kelly não só ajustou o meu implante como tambem refez a coroa que tinha quebrado em uma hora de atendimento, oque me ajudou muito pois sou de Newcastlewest.

Negative experience: Unprofessional with a total disregard to time keeping. No reasons were given, just "sorry for late" in broken english, and I was completely ignored thereafter. After 20 minutes had passed, listening to the staff laughing and joking in the surgery with no information given as to when I'll be seen to, I just got up and left. It sounded like they were making coffee, catching up on a long conversation, and not in a medical facility that requires professionalism. Avoid.
