Fantastic experience: I Have been to Begleys Dentist on two occasions in the past couple of months to Dr Curran Who is so nice. Really puts you at ease and explains everything also really cares. He goes above and beyond. His dental nurse was so lovely as well. Had a bit of craic while having work done. The receptionists are lovely and very helpful. The place itself is lovely and spotlessly clean. Couldn't recommend enough.

I know a lot of the local patients & they are all of the same accord. I am a bit sceptical about the wording of Mykyata's review as it seems to have had a legal brushover & does not appear to have come from the heart.pool b

Fantastic experience: The reception team are always very helpful and polite! I have been attending the practice for years and have always found them to be accommodating when I need an appointment. Every visit I’ve had has been flawless and I’ve never had any problems. The dentists are very helpful and explain everything clearly for you understand. I can’t speak highly enough of the team at Begley Dental and I would highly recommend them!

Negative experience: I visited Begley Dental in Dundalk on 24.06.2024 and on 27.08.2024, for what I thought would be routine dental care. I didn't know any other place where Medical Cards could be applied, and unfortunately, my experience turned out to be deeply disappointing and has had long-lasting negative effects on my dental health. The treatment, carried out by Orla McEvoy, involved filling a tooth, removing its root, and extracting a neighbouring tooth. From start to finish, the procedures were riddled with issues that reflected a lack of care and professionalism. Firstly, the tooth filling was performed without adequately cleaning the decayed area. Later examinations revealed that the filling was placed directly over an untreated, decayed surface, which caused persistent pain and required further corrective treatment. Shockingly, the root of the tooth was not removed at all, despite being marked as part of the procedure. Such an oversight is difficult to comprehend and completely avoidable. The extraction of the neighbouring tooth was even worse. It was performed without proper anaesthesia, leading to excruciating pain that caused me to lose consciousness during the procedure. To make matters worse, the socket was not stitched or treated adequately. As a result, the gum failed to heal properly, leaving me with ongoing discomfort for over five months. The lack of attention to detail, disregard for patient well-being, and overall unprofessional approach have made it impossible for me to trust Begley Dental with any further dental care. These mistakes have not only caused me significant physical pain but have also required extensive corrective work at an additional financial and emotional cost. I cannot, in good conscience, recommend Begley Dental to anyone seeking reliable or compassionate dental care. The difference in care and professionalism was night and day. Upon arrival, I was provided with a patient registration form and given clear, detailed information about their services, including the costs and potential coverage under a Medical Card. From the outset, their approach felt thorough and patient-centered. The team at Green Dental conducted a comprehensive X-ray, not only of the affected tooth but also of both jaws, to identify any additional underlying issues. This careful examination revealed the full extent of the damage caused by the prior treatment. My dentist, Oleksandr Akimenko, explained that the root of the tooth had not been removed and that the filling had been placed directly over a decayed area. He also found that the neighbouring tooth extraction was improperly handled, leading to incomplete gum healing. Dr. Akimenko approached the situation with professionalism and care. He administered full anaesthesia to eliminate pain and meticulously corrected the issues. He removed the old filling, cleaned the decayed area thoroughly, and applied a new filling that matched the colour of my teeth perfectly. The procedure was completed with precise bite alignment, shaping, and polishing to ensure comfort. Thanks to Dr. Akimenko's skill and attention to detail, I am now free from the pain and discomfort I had been living with for months. His personalised approach and expertise have restored my trust in dental care. Moving forward, I plan to rely solely on the services provided by Green Dental. In stark contrast to my experience at Begley Dental, Green Dental demonstrated what true professionalism and patient care look like. I am deeply grateful to their team for helping me move past a painful chapter and for providing such exceptional treatment.

Fantastic experience: After getting butchered by a HSE dentist as a child I had a huge fear of dentists as you can imagine. I was put on to Fergal well over ten years now and have been going to him ever since and now all my family go to him. If you are afraid of dentists like I was then Fergal is your man, very professional, as are all the staff.

Negative experience: If your a new client to this dentist. The patient has to pay 40 euro up front in order the secure an appointment. Then your giving a date ,you do get the 40 euro surcharge back after your treatment is done . This is Only for new clients fact .. I think its unfair to those whom might need treatment but can't afford it as in 40 euro upfront charge.

Negative experience: What is the 40 euro down payment pre appointment fee for . ? From what I've heard from other people it only applies to new clients. . And not for well known clients. How is that fair...

Fantastic experience: As a very nervous person when comes to the dentist, I have to say that staff are amazing, truly look after you and make you feel calm and relaxed they really go the extra mile. Work is also done to a very high quality, if you are looking to get work done then cannot but highly recommend Beglet Dental.

I have been a patient since 2014 now and I am so thankful that I found a dentist that could put me at ease. Her work is exceptionally good too.
