Fantastic experience: This place is fantastic. I had to have a tooth extraction of one of my 3rd molars on my upper jaw. The procedure i have to say was pain-free, fast and I was given great advice about after care and sent on my way. Prices are very reasonable too from what I could see. Staff are so professional, friendly and will put you at ease immediately. Thank you very much for taking care of me guys.

Negative experience: After being with this surgery a few years and previously had 2 wonderful dentists which have both since left. I can no longer recommend this surgery. After having a front filling done 3 weeks ago where decay and a small hole was still visable after said filling and having pain. I made an emergency appointment with another dentist that was shocked to see the state of work that had been done and a poor less than half cleaning a week ago. Both need redoing ! Needless to say I won't be going back. The only good thing about this surgery now is the receptionists

Fantastic experience: My dentist Nicole and her nurse Shannon always go above and beyond to make me feel comfortable during my dental appointments. I have elderly grandparents and my two parents and partner also are seen by Shannon and Nicole and we are all in agreement that we really enjoy going to the dentist and have a good experience every time. I also visit Nicole for facial aesthetic treatments and won’t be going anywhere else as she has so much attention to detail in her work. The girls at the front desk are both amazing and always so helpful. Again my grandparents are in their 80s and the girls always make booking appointments so easy for them when in some other practices they’ve been told to “just go online”. Excellent dentists, nurses, management and admin staff in this practice. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a positive experience.

Negative experience: They're more concerned about money than their patients. I like the dentist Frances but I agree with other reviews who say the staff at front desk "is the most confrontational , rough, abraisive , individual" ...I also agree with the remarks about the passive aggressive attitude. Very disappointed to have to move to a different dentist but would've felt uncomfortable returning to the clinic based on my experience. Don't expect to get a call back when promised either... I had to ring once a week for 3 weeks to get a response to a query and I had to wait over an hour after an appointment time to be seen. Very poor customer service. My family and friends will be moving to a different dentist.

Fantastic experience: I had an excellent experience at Railway Dental Surgery in Cavan, thanks to the dental wizard Dr. Keith Currie. He's professional, very polite and funny as well! During my procedure, I was so relaxed that I actually fell asleep, something I never expected before. This shows his expertise in creating a comfortable environment. At the end he showed me before and after pictures explaining what he did which I value. He is not just some dentist, he is the tooth fairy godfather As well I would like to mention the ladies at the desk, always polite and happy to help. Negative experience: Stay away.. Complete rip-off.

Negative experience: The dentists were fine, would have appreciated the prices of x-rays at the time they were recommended though. The secretary with the English accent was very passive aggressive though. When I took my card out of the machine she made quite a big deal of it and kept muttering about it. Maybe she was having a bad day but shouldn't have taken it out on a paying customer.

Fantastic experience: Use to go to Frances in the old surgery. She waa fantastic, gentle and very patient. Helped me relax so much. Went today to the new surgery and seen Mr Wong. He is also brilliant. Great patience, gentle and friendly. The girls at reception are brilliant at their job and so friendly. Cannot fault anyone or anything at Railway Dental. Thank you so much.

Negative experience: Went into dentist who advised that she needed to speak to a more senior colleague regarding a extraction as I’m on medication I never received a call back but phoned them after 12 months and was told that they tried to ring me but couldn’t get through. When I asked about texting or messaging and appointment “oh no we are too busy to text people “ two days later received a message about my yearly appointment was now due !!!!! Would not recommend as I initially thought I was with a qualified dentist , wasn’t sure why she needed to speak with a more senior colleague . Rang a dentist the next day in ballyconnel and got an appointment immediately which they send reminder text messages two days before the appointment and got it taken out no problem . That’s what happens when you deal with an amature

Negative experience: Dentists seemed fine at first, were relatively nice and i had many fillings done, about a month or two after i finished with all the fillings one tooth started hurting, then two more. I went to another dentist to find out they did more harm than good and had to fix three that I had done here. One tooth had to be fixed over a few visits, but the main issue was that the fillings were not done properly. There was somehow a gap in between the tooth itself and the filling and cavity was not removed properly. I simply do not understand how 3, not 1 or 2 but 3 teeth were done so poorly i had to redo them. Overall I definitely do not recommend them.

Fantastic experience: The dentists are very professional, courteous and kind. They are particularly good with children, putting everyone at ease during the consultation. My children love going to see Frances! I have found my own check-ups to be thorough and informative and they have looked after me and my family well.

Fantastic experience: Brought my son who broke his tooth front teeth to Frances. He was extremely anxious and scared. Frances put him at ease and fixed his teeth. Thankfully he now has no issue with going to the dentist.
