Negative experience: I saw Karolina back in May 2024 and was told I needed two surface fillings caused by grinding my teeth. I found her to be extremely rough and at times it was very uncomfortable during the procedure. After I had the fillings done, I started experiencing pain for the first time in the one of the teeth I'd had treated. I went back to Karolina who said it could take "several months" to calm down, which obviously wasn't right for a simple filling. I changed practices and saw a new dentist, who confirmed she had cracked my tooth. I needed a root canal to fix the tooth as the nerve had developed necrosis following the trauma of the filling, which was obviously expensive and time consuming, plus I had been in pain since the original filling. I'm completely appalled by the disregard for patient wellbeing I experienced, I felt my pain was dismissed and not taken seriously at all. I'm lucky my new team were able to save the tooth. Will never go back to Smiles.

Negative experience: Treatment and dentist were great. I give 2 stars for not following up with me as promised. They told me they will call next day to give me a plan of my next treatment sessions, which never happened. I called after 1 week to chase and they told me they will call me back which again didn't happen. Sorry, but I don't have to chase you.

Fantastic experience: If anyone needs a Dentist I would recommend Smiles in Clonshaugh,I was there four weeks ago got a composite bond on my front tooth and I love it, the difference it made is amazing. I was also there this morning for a filling replacement old filling out and white one put in.Carolina is my dentist and all I can say is she is amazing and thank you to her and her lovely assistant.I would give 10* if I could, receptionists are so friendly and professional at all times. A very happy customer and will be back soon.

Fantastic experience: Called for a emergency appointment fit me in straight away seen doctor Elvira highly recommend really explained everything to me will be back to have more treatment .Reception staff nice and friendly :) felt very at ease not a fan of the dentist normally .

Negative experience: Attended this dentist a few years ago and ended up with trigeminal neuralgia (Nerve Damage from a wisdom tooth removal). Still suffering daily all these years later so I would 100% not recommend this dentist for wisdom tooth removal. They didn't want to know. Have since heard of more people they have damaged

Negative experience: Went here 3 weeks ago for 2 fillings under nishta o connor paid 320 euro went back to clinic because pain was worse than previous visit she said I needed another filling beside one she previous filled for 120 euros so I said to her the tooth she filled 3 weeks ago actually didn't need to be done in the first place, she wasn't having any of it she was actually creating work for herself very bad practice,should be struck off I thought the customer was always right 320 euros down in worse pain now you won't see me in there again avoid she's making work for herself

Fantastic experience: My experience at Smiles Dental Clonshaugh was extremely good. I had a wisdom tooth extraction and some fillings done by Dr.Dimche Jordanov who was amazing! He is so professional and good at what he does! He explains the procedure thoroughly and everything was done to perfection! Even his assistant was amazing. The receptionist Audrey is so lovely as well. I would 100 percent recommend!

Fantastic experience: I’ve been coming here for years because there’s such great care given here. The reception staff are great and are very friendly and helpful. I’m terrified of needles and my dentist was so calming and reassuring, making sure I was comfortable and helped to calm me down when she noticed I was anxious throughout procedures. Such a great practice to go to. Everything is explained really well so you completely understand what’s happening. I recommend them to everyone.

Fantastic experience: From walking in I was welcomed by such a lovely girl on reception. Felt very at ease as was my first dental appointment in many years.. Dimche who was my dentist and his colleague couldn't do anymore for me. Everything was explained thoroughly and they looked after me very well. One of my best experiences at a dentist!

Fantastic experience: Had an appointment yesterday, such friendly, professional people. Got a wisdom tooth out and the dentist consistantly told me exactly what was happening / going to happen. I was treated like a person rather than a job. I cant praise them enough for making a difficult time for me so easy and relaxing. The dentist and nurse were simply lovely people. Negative experience: I’ve been a private paying patient at this smiles branch for nearly 4 years and have had the absolute best care in the industry hands down, that is one thing I can’t fault. I recently qualified for a medical card and called to make my yearly appointment. However, to learn that you are not accepting medical cards because the HSE won’t fund your PPE is an absolute cop out and quite frankly a money grab seeing as you are the largest dental care chain in the country with undoubtedly massive profit margins. Sorry, but it’s impossible to believe that you cannot absorb €5-€10 per patient into your operating costs to spires PPE. What a seriously scabby and cheap move. I would have always recommended smiles but it’s quite clear that your focus is no longer on patient care but instead focused on profit, greed and lining your pockets. What an embarrassment.

Negative experience: Called on Friday, no answer, left a voicemail with name number and issue, Monday afternoon now and I haven’t heard back. Really bad considering the nature of my call and the fact that they’re open on Saturdays.

Fantastic experience: Have to say find the negative reviews quite surprising. Been with Smiles Clonshaugh for 3 plus years now, had a terrible fear of the dentist one of which has been totally eradicated by how professional and empathetic the dentist I have dealt personally with are. If you have insurance they do all the admin work for you meaning you pay less at the time of payment. Reception staff I find very friendly too. Welcoming and chatty. Would recommend Smiles Clonshaugh for anyone who has any anxiety to the dentist.

Negative experience: Total waste of time and money don't bring your kids here!!!! Booked with the assurance that they accommodate 2 year old toddlers so of course I thought they had experience with this well clearly not ! It was my sons 1st visit to the dentist so as you can imagine he was quite upset due to the new surroundings and full ppe but The dentist was so rude did no exam xray treatment nothing ! Barely looked at the tooth in question (front tooth) and was told "it's too hard to talk to you with all this noise is there someone else with you" Which implys to me that she wanted my child out of the exam room to talk which makes no sense to me seeing as she was supposed to be examing him. All in all spent max 5 minutes with her for no reason other then be told my child is too noisy and still had to pay full price for exam ! Will never be going back and will certainly not be recommending to anyone

Dr elvira, explained everything and was so calming, helped massively by her empathetic nurse Debbie, who really helped to calm me down. I had a tooth removed, which I wasn't expecting but had I left I probably wouldn't have come back to get it done. I can't recommend them enough and don't feel so bad knowing I have to go back

Negative experience: New bulgarian dentist is very rude and unprofessional. My appointment lasted 5 min!!(waited at the reception 20 min for my appoint) I booked for filling (and mentioned it with reception) but he refused to do any work, saying he has few other customers waiting, and only do check up. Seriously 5 min and showing to the doors? ! How rude and never again.

Fantastic experience: I have never recommended a dentist before but after attending Smiles in Clonshaugh I felt I had to recommend Jamie who treated me for a painful wisdom tooth. The treatment was painless both during and after treatment, he and his nurse (sorry I can't remember her name) were absolutly lovely, respectful and put me at ease. Keep up the great work.

Negative experience: Receptionist is very rude. Called to make an appointment was told id need to pay €40 deposit as there were 3 failed to attend appointments on my account which i did not make. Myself my family and friends will be attending more professional dentist service from now on. Would give zero stars if possible.

Negative experience: My daughter attended here yesterday with severe toothache in wisdom tooth. She was told no infection should settle down. She was up all night in agony. She rang this morning and was told by rude receptionist she shouldn't need another appointment having been seen by a dentist yesterday. She then made appointment in another dental practice . The dentist said she had huge absess and couldn't believe smiles dentist missed it. She then prescribed pain relief and antibiotics. Would advise people to stay away from smiles. My daughter rang today to complain she was told she would call her back. NO CALL.

Fantastic experience: After a lifelong fear of going to the dentist, I finally found a place I'm comfortable in going to. I can't recommend them highly enough. We saw a dentist named Jenny and she is the reason we were all so happy with our treatment. Very patient and very, very honest. I was scheduled in for a root canal but when we got to it, she saw that a deep filling would be enough saving me 300 euro and build a lot of trust!
