JME Dental Devon Park

Positive experience: I was early for my appointment by half an hr so i sat in the waiting room. While i sat there, four staff members passed me without even greeting me. It doesnt cost a cent for someone to say hello? I was the only person in the waiting room at the time. I may aswell have not been there the way the staff treated me. I did say it when i was called in, & one of the staff members apologised but when i went to the Reception to pay, i was only greeted by the staff member that had said sorry to me. This kinda thing wouldnt make me come bck. Abit of manners wouldnt go a stray in the practice.

Fantastic experience: I brought my 8-year-old to see Dr. Ali, and I couldn’t be happier with the visit. Dr. Ali was absolutely amazing, he made my son feel completely at ease and created a fun, safe atmosphere that really helped calm any nerves. The receptionist staff were equally impressive, efficient, friendly, and welcoming. Appointments ran right on time, and the waiting areas were bright, clean, and comfortable. Highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: I couldn't recommend JME Dental Devon Park highly enough. The whole staff are so professional, accommodating and friendly. Dr. Ali has taken all fear out of going to the dentist for my whole family! He is excellent at putting children, and adults at ease. He plays their favourite music when they are in the chair, and even has a teddy, Max, to comfort nervous children. No wonder he has received an award for being the Most Caring Dentist in Connaught!

Negative experience: Came to remove a wisdom tooth. They said it's too early to remove it and we should come back in a few months and they will remove it if it still bothers. We came in a year, but this time they said they won't remove it because the fact that it bothers is not enough for them anymore. They charged us both times of course. Waste of time and money.

Fantastic experience: I honestly can’t recommend Dr. Jason McEvaddy enough! From the second I walked into his clinic, from reception, to the nurses I felt like I was in safe hands. Jason really took the time to listen to what I was worried about and explained everything so clearly, which made all the difference. I’m not usually one for the dentist, but Jason’s calm and patient-focused approach completely put me at ease. What really stood out to me was how Jason managed to take away my nerves. I’ve always been a bit anxious about dental work, but his gentle manner made it feel like a walk in the park. He’s truly an expert at what he does, and you can tell he genuinely cares about his patients. The care I got from start to finish was just outstanding. It’s rare to find someone who makes you feel so comfortable while also delivering such top-tier treatment. If you’re looking for a dentist who makes you feel like more than just a patient, Jason is your man!

Fantastic experience: Been going to this dental surgery since maybe 2018/2019 and they've always been the highest quality from the first moment. Fantastic experience: Best place I've been to. Came here on short notice for emergency work. Very nervous with dentists myself but was seen to and dealt with by Ali and he made me feel so comfortable that I've been returning regularly for ongoing work. The receptionists are so friendly and I felt very relaxed. I've gotten fillings, extraction and root canal done there. Negative experience: The worst experience ever! I am in fifties and been seen by many dentists but never experience something like that! Also, I am a client for >10 years on this place. Yesterday I was booked not with my regular dentist for a moving implant. However, dr. Jason didn’t review the case and started to work immediately (was 5:45pm maybe?). When I started to moan he said to not “shout” because he can work that way! He did not use anastatic at all initially nor followed the rule of stopping when raised hand!!! Eventually he put some anaesthetic but started to work without testing if painful or follow the sign of pain rule! At that point I left the cabinet thanking very polite for the service! WILL NEVER want to sit on that chair again. Please note I do intend to keep my dentist from this place that is actually very professional and shows empathy!

Negative experience: Booked my son in to get him checked by the dentist it was late Thursday appointment at 7:30 pm,brought him at 7:25 to find closed door and nobody working,few weeks after that booked again online for 2 pm came in at 1:55 to be said by the lady at reception that they moved that appointment to 1 pm and we were supposed to be in at 1,if I wanted to book at 1 I would book at 1 and not at 2 pm,found the whole situation bit ridiculous,lady at reception tried to make idiots from us and blame the mistake with booking they made on Google because phone is set in different language,even tho booking app is clearly showing that appointment is booked for 2 pm. No apology or anything from staff at reception.

Fantastic experience: As someone who's always struggled with the fear going to the dentist, Leah is amazing she's very warm and welcoming and hears you out and has a very good understanding of guiding you through what she's doing. The nurses are lovely and the reception team are very helpful I no longer dread going into the dentist with these amazing bunch

Fantastic experience: I attended for my yearly check up and clean in Devon Park with Dr Lorcan O’Brien and I could not have been happier with the treatment provided. Dr o Brien was so thorough and explained everything so clearly to me. He then gave me a clean and I have to say my teeth felt amazing after. Hands down the best dentist I have been to and I would recommend him to anyone.

Fantastic experience: Had my root canal. I got my appointment very quick as I had a bad tooth ache. I was lucky that my doctor was Dr. Ali. He is very professional and has a very good surgical hand. Very little pain even after the anesthetic wore off. I highly recommend Dr. Ali.

Negative experience: Went in to get implant looked at because my own dentist could not and this one gave me the full going over as in x-rays probing my teeth(which I did not ask for)and then said I needed 3 filling x y and z done to my gums/teeth ASAP and needed a plan to come back 4 time's which would cost over 800 euros and my own dentist just checked my teeth 5 week's before and said all was good just to clean gums sometime but nothing serious to worry about and found nothing else wrong anyway I won't be back,I just don't no why dentists just can't be honest,bit like bringing your car to garage they all find something different wrong but not the one you want....

Negative experience: Поставили пломбу, через неделю откололся кусок, когда я это показал врачу, она сказала что это нормативно. Через месяц отпал еще кусок пломбы. Идти уже не буду, потому-то для вас это нормально. Это ужасно, не рекомендую!! И еще очень высокая цена 50€ консультация +125€ пломба, и такое удачные качество, подумайте прежде идти сюда. На втором зубе поставили пломбу которая была больше чем нужно и мешала, и после удаления своей ошибки с меня потребовали 30€

Fantastic experience: Highly recommend. I was in pain for two days left it to late till Saturday. So start ring around to try and find appointment could get anywhere but then I got to the what could only described as a angel on the phone. ( I apologise I can't remember anyone name.) She was very sympathetic to my situation. And was able to move a thing around and fit me. So I set on my way to there practice. When I got there I was 45 minutes early because I was in so much pain I didn't want to be late so I sat in the car internally crying wait for my appointment. Then all of a sudden my phone rang it was that angel again. They realised it was me. Some one was running late so the could fit me in there and then. When I got in to the practice the place was spotless and everyone was so friendly. I didn't feel nervous at all. When I got in the chair. I was in the hands of a god. The dentist was able to save the tooth which I previously told I was going to loose. I was shocked and delight at the same time. When the procedure begun the dentist reassured me kept me calm through the treatment watching for signs that I needed more local anaesthetic. ( And to tell you the truth I need a lot I'm surprised I didn't use their entire stock. Haha) because of the infection it would not num up but on the first sign of distress Bang another does went straight in before the procedure resumed. Over all I could not recommend this place enough. They have a return customer whether they like it or not. Thank you to all that was there you are life savers.

Fantastic experience: I give a huge recommendation to this Dental Clinic .Dr Ali and his team are just wonderful .myself and my husband travel all the way from Ennis just to see Dr Ali . my husband needed a lot of work done a lots of extractions and other work done most dentist turned him away but not Dr Ali. He is very patient and takes his time to make sure u get the best care. He always checks in to see if your doing ok while he is working on you. my husband was terrified of dentist before he went here and they really made him feel at easy. I highly recommend to any one who is looking for a new dentist to try here you will not be disappointed in your choice. they are very affordable they offer the best health care with budgets to suit everyone. They will greet u with a smile and do everything in there power to facilitate you no matter what your needs. truly one of the best dentist in Ireland.

Fantastic experience: I recently visited the practice as an external trainer I can visit 10-12 practices per month spending two days with the team, you get to pick up on the team ethics, how they are with each other, how they are with patients etc within that time. Within 5 mins I knew this practice would be one I’d be happy to work in the vibe from Evonne, Jason and team was friendly and welcoming.

Negative experience: Awful service!

Fantastic experience: Devon Park Dental were not my dentist, however rang their number on a frosty Saturday morning with an emergency. Joy the receptionist could not have been more helpful and despite a busy morning, got me an appointment. Ali, the dentist who saw me, was very helpful. A root canal was needed, he did the root canal, made me feel very relaxed, and was very gentle, I had no pain whatsoever during or after the procedure. Would highly recommend

Fantastic experience: I give a big recommendation to this Dental Clinic. Dr Ali was one of the best dentist I've ever had the pleasure of meeting. He treated me with kindness. I have a lot of problems with my teeth, a lot of my front ones need work. Most dentist would often simply pull the teeth if you could not afford it since it's the cheapest option. However Dr Ali wanted to try his best to save it, or at least prolong the removal so I would still have my front teeth for a little while. I was unable to afford the treatment necessary on the day to save it and was very emotional about having to pull one of my front teeth. In his kindness he did the procedure with no payment. This review is the only thing I can do to show my appreciation for his kindness. Thank you Dr Ali, and thank you Devon Park for treating me with such compassion. I will never forget it.

Negative experience: Unfortunately I left with a bigger problem than when I came in.

Fantastic experience: I had a root canal done with Ali and although I was not looking forward to it, the experience turned out to be absolutely pain free, relaxing and the results fantastic. Highly recommend Ali. Calming classical music playing in the background helped the process.

Fantastic experience: I was absolutely petrified of going to the dentist. Due to excessive drinking of sugary drinks I need alot of work on the teeth, but ever since my first visit at Devon Park Dental I am no longer scared. The staff have been very welcoming and supportive and Dr Ali has been absolutely fantastic. Thanks to lovely dental assistant Katie, every visit feels like I have a friend there, she is so supportive. I truly reccomend this dental practise, especially for those who are afraid.

Negative experience: Worst Dentist I have ever attended. Had three fillings done here recently all of which were applied without anesthetic leading me to correctly believe the filling area was not properly cleaned or drilled. This led to all three falling out one as early as two weeks later. Will now be looking for a more professional dental practice for more competent treatment.

Fantastic experience: Thank you Dr Ali and his nurse Yhan (i think that her name) originally from China, a very professional team, experts in their own fields. Good, examination clean and polish last saturday. A fine surgery , parking outside and was greeted at the reception by a very friendly administrator i forget her name but means alot to meet someone so warm and welcoming. Also i have to mention i love the royal blue nurses uniform.

Fantastic experience: Dr Ali, What this Man is to Dentistry Muhammad Ali was to Boxing! This Man went out his way in his Free Time to give me a Quick look over and told me to go and see Him at the Surgery ASAP. Due to a Botched Job that I had done Elsewhere and Created a Huge Infection that lead to Great Pain! Dr Ali is a Laid back Fella and fills you with Confidence. I found Him and the Nurse (forgot Her Name) To be Very Professional and Helpful... The Pain and Swelling was Totally Gone! He had to Take out a Root that was left in and Cleaned out the Infection.... When I Arrived i had my Tail Between my Legs, but by the Time I Left I was Floating Like a Butterfly but not Stinging like a Bee!!! Good Man Ali and the Team!

Negative experience: 5 minutes of cleaning costs a hundred euro, don't go here.

Fantastic experience: Just out of my appointment with Jason in devon park dentists. He was so informative very professional but most of all so gentle, his lovely manner put me at ease! I’m not a fan of the dentist and i was quite nervous today but after years of neglecting my teeth i’m back on the road to getting them right! also the girl on the phone was great help to get me an appointment, didn’t feel rushed and attention to detail was spot on!

Fantastic experience: genuinely cannot recommend this dentist enough- leah is one of the most caring people. as someone who is so ashamed at the condition of their teeth she made me feel so at ease and ok about my teeth, i developed dry socket after an extraction and they seen me straight away to help ease my pain. honestly will stay with leah for as long as i can for all she has done for me

Fantastic experience: I changed dentist this month after my old dentist stopped taking the medical card. Leah smith is a fantastic dentist, quick and completely pain free dental treatment and she took time to answer a few questions after the treatment. Glad to say I'm in excellent hands here!

Negative experience: Booked in for a clean and was told I would have to get x-rays first. Got the x-rays and came back for a clean and sealants a few weeks later. Made the mistake of booking in the evening when it must have been getting close to home time. To say I was for 10 mins is an exaggeration, sealants were ok but my teeth were not even half cleaned and I was still charged full price.

Negative experience: Had the honour of being served by the proprietor. Took ages for him to do a check up. With my broken tooth was advised to make another appointment which wouldve been 2 weeks later. But who cares....It took less than 10 min to have my tooth extracted at another dental clinic on the day of my first appointment and with no x ray as I was told I needed at Devon

Fantastic experience: What a fabulous Practice. I was in Galway for the weekend and had some difficulty with a back tooth that had broken and was cutting my tongue. I rang the practice late Friday afternoon, they were more then happy to see me, even though they were closing. I was quickly attended too, and left feeling a million times better and was able to enjoy my weekend. Thank you again
