Fantastic experience: I've been going to this dentist for years. The staff are friendly and helpful. The communication between dentist and reception, regarding next appointment ect. is second to none. Therefore there is no waiting around and no miscommunication about the next step. My dentist explains everything in detail before and after the examination. He is professional and friendly putting me at ease. The place is spotless and very modern plus the prices are very reasonable.

We brought our 4-year-old son to see Dr. Tamara Timofejeva, and she was fantastic, kind, patient, and great at making him feel comfortable. She explained everything in a way he understood and even made the visit fun. The staff was welcoming, and our son left happy and excited to come back. Highly recommend Dr. Tamara for anyone looking for a great children’s dentist!

Also only for my Dentist Colm he discovered Patches in my mouth which turned out to be Oral Dysplasia, he referred me straight away to get the patches biopsied. Thank goodness he did, as I would never have known. I now receive the care I need for Oral Dysplasia. I highly recommend Dental Care Ireland Carlow.

The reception area is most inviting, the staff are focused on delivering an appointment that suits the client. The hygenists and dentists are all highly trained professionals. There is always great attention given to detail, all proposed procedures are explained ensuring full understanding. I always leave with a feel good factor.

Fantastic experience: I brought my 6 year old son to the dentist the other day, emergency appontment. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly, from the lady who answered the phone and went out of her way to get us in, to the dentist who made my son very comfortable. When we got home, he summarised this experience as “so much fun”. That was a win. Highly recommended.

Positive experience: Excellent reception and dental treatment...Average expense charged for the fee. Fee was in the range of €50 to €80 for consulting and approx. €80 for dental washing or filling a tooth's enamel. I was satisfied with the general treatment I received. The dentist explained in detail the situation of the health of my dentures...well done.

Fantastic experience: Highly recommend Dental Care Ireland in Carlow. Professional and friendly at reception. Dental hygienist Jenny Brennan and Dentist Dr Tamara Timofejeva are excellent.

Negative experience: Dentist colm traynor, caused two months of pain infection and trauma. He drilled to deep even with lidocaine the pain when I left was horrendous. I went in three times to say I was infected and it was spreading into my right ear. I had to go to my gp as colm didn't want a paper trail of a script. The third antibiotic was in kilkenny hospital by ambulance. He is rough and a blatent liar as he talked me into staying in the practice with the promise of a crown in reparation for my pain an trauma. The minute the x-ray came back clear he reneged. It would do after three antibiotics. Be careful with this rough dentist. And his shoddy work. An update one of the back fillings colm traynor did didn't last 6 months half of it fell out have to pay another dentist to repair it. 140 euros per filling plus the rough handling and now it just broke away this is a another one of my teeth he has messed up! Don't know about the other dentists in this practice avoid this one colm traynor at all costs he is a brute and not a good dentist.
