Fantastic experience: My appointment was for 10.45am. I went in on time and I had my filling done and a good chat with my dentist afterwards and back in my car at 11.05am (20min). Dr.Burke and Nurse Sinead were very professional, no pain or discomfort during or afterwards. Good honest advice from Dr.Burke.

Negative experience: I went in with a bit of my filling missing, they took me in quick enough, I was told though by the male doctor that he was not going to do any repair, that I do need a root canal treatment and a crown down the road (not now - X rays was done, not very concerned), Polish was done under 10 mins. The small bit of filling is still not repaired (not happy), my annual check up covered by PRSI is used now and the Polish was fast and furious - it normally takes 30 mins with the hygienist, yet I was charged the €15 for 10 kinute job. I am not very happy and will think twice about going back.

Positive experience: Top class experience, if a tad expensive,but then I'm a frugal tight 80 year old.

I was very nervous as I had a bad experience at another Dentist. He reassured me that I would be fine. I had an Xray & had to have an extraction. He explained everything to me & I never felt one bit of pain. What a lovely professional man. I would highly recommend Mr Burke to all My Family & Friends.

Negative experience: My last visit ended with me listening to racist comments from the receptionist about why there were so many Poles in Ireland and whether we had nowhere to go. She and the other receptionist had a great laugh about it. I will never go there again!!!

Fantastic experience: Dental Care Tuam is without a doubt the best Dental Practice in the West of Ireland. The staff are absolutely delightful. Aoife the Hygienist that I visited recently, is extremely professional, such a lovely lady with a warm caring manner, always giving me the best advice to protect my gums which I've had problems in the past. Aoife is the only Hygienist I would visit, because of her excellent knowledge. If I could give this review more than 5 stars I would. We are very lucky to have this wonderful Dental practice in Tuam and their staff.

Fantastic experience: I cannot rate highly enough my experience in Dental Care Ireland, Tuam. Dr Catherine has 'as I tell her on every visit' changed my life. Now I know my teeth can be salvaged with the amazing work she has carried out so far. Gentle care beyond belief. Once you enter the clinic you are met with welcoming, friendly staff. Every aspect to put you at ease. Delighted I made the change !

Negative experience: I went to Dr. Burke for an Invisalign check-up, attachment removal, and a cleaning. Unexpectedly, two fillings were deemed necessary, one on top and another on the bottom. However, during the procedure, he performed two fillings at the top, neglecting the bottom, as initially stated. I only discovered this discrepancy when they charged me for two fillings. Dr. Burke seemed distracted during the treatment, leading to severe pain afterward. A month later, I reported pressure pain, but Dr. Burke conducted temperature tests, claiming ignorance about the issue. He suggested a root canal, but I doubted its appropriateness. Despite the lovely reception staff, notably Brenda, the dental experience was disappointing. Four months later, the pain persists, and communication with Tuam Dental provided no resolution, leaving me hesitant to return. It seems like an unnecessary procedure for financial gain, as others have suggested.

Fantastic experience: From the moment I spoke with Caroline and Nora they put me right at ease. The dentist I saw as an emergency client was very efficient at diagnosing the issue and put me on the right course of treatment for same. Overall my experience was very positive and I now have found my new dentist in Tuam. Thank you.

Fantastic experience: Like many people, I'm not fond of visiting the dentist! But it's a lot easier since I started attending Dental Care Ireland in Tuam. The reception staff are extremely lovely and very helpful. On my last visit Nora pointed out that I was entitled to a free examination under PRSI which I would never have thought of. And Dr John is excellent at what he does and very pleasant to deal with. So, definitely, highly recommended.

Going to the dentist makes me nervous but the Dentist is no nice and explained everything before he started and asked several times if I was OK during the treatment. The dental nurse walked out with me and told me to stay for a few minutes until I was sure I was able to walk out the door. Fantastic experience: I have been a patient with Amita since 2009 and she is absolutely amazing. Patient,kind and explains in detail everything when you have an appointment with her. Her work is outstanding and I always feel comfy and at ease with her. She has a lovely personality. I highly recommend her to everyone. The ladies on reception are bright,helpful and accommodating even when fully booked . They work wonders fitting you in for an appointment. Always happy to see you when you attend .

Fantastic experience: From the phone conversation booking the appointment to the arrival in the clinic the reception staff were so friendly and welcoming. Really helps put you at ease, especially for someone like me who hasn't visited the dentist as much as I should. The dentist and hygienist gave me a lot of information about the condition of my teeth and I was so pleased to wake up the next day after a filling and good scraping to absolutely no pain or tenderness in the area that was worked on. Very pleasant experience all round.

Fantastic experience: Hi I rang Dental Care looking for an emergency appointment broke a back tooth filling i had rang about 20 practices before them including my own dentist and couldn’t get an appointment but when I rang dental care they were great straight away organised an appointment next day. Dentist fantastic couldn’t recommend them highly enough.

Fantastic experience: As a patient who has had a lifetime phobia of the dentists (many years) I finally feel I can stop the incessant worry about my teeth falling out !! From the lovely atmosphere that the girls (Regina and Nora) in reception give you and the encouragement they give before you "GO IN" is second to none. Then Antanas the dentist who has the lightest fingers so much that I couldn't really feel him rummaging around. Twinkle fingers he has haha. Then Aoife, my hero !!! Negative experience: I booked an appointment online using their efficient online booking system and I booked an exam and polish as per PRSI allowance. However after I had my exam the dentist told me I had not booked a slot long enough to allow for a polish also. The clerical staff then tried to persuade me to book another appointment the following weeks despite me repeatedly saying that in work in Galway city and took a day of work annual leave for this appointment.
