Negative experience: Reading a lot of negativity here,they can't be all untrue. People wouldn't put this up just for the sake of it.Regard to smiles seems to be true, though.Beause I've been to three,of them. And the problem still haven't been fixed. Had second opinions from another dentist. And was asked do I clean my teeth. Only had it done in a short space of time. The dentist couldn't believe that I had a scaling and polishing done. Something not right. Was asked today by smiles to remove my comments I don't think it should make a difference when I was there.The fact of the matter I was there. Smiles is smiles , whatever branch you go to, its connected. Is smiles ringing everybody,that's gives negative feedback. Sorry about my manner on the phone today.But I didn't like the manner of the girl,I was speaking to, especially when I said I won't be removing it. She couldn't get the phone down quick enough. If I get to speak to a manager in Blanchardstown , then maybe I might remove it and that's a maybe. At the end of the day here,I'm the one that's out of pocket. To me smiles is smiles, did get a phone call regarding blanchardstown? But it was inappropriate after that never heard a word back.What does that tell you. I really believed that they are more interested in the money than care. If you really study reviews for smiles dentist , you ll see that there is quite a lot of negative feedback, and negative ones regarding dentists. Maybe. It's a care issue,or a communication issue who knows. All I can see is can you ring smiles so we can sort it out,really they are asking you to remove comments. If you are on the internet you have to expect negative and positive comments at the end of the day, the customer has a right to complain.If they are not satisfied.

Like many people, I’ve always felt a bit anxious about visiting the dentist but this experience was the complete opposite of what I expected. Fantastic experience: Thank you to the amazing Dr Gyeong Won Jang. I came in needing a root canal and left an hour later with most of it completed. Lots of X-rays, drilling, reassurance, gentleness and solid advice. Not one ounce of pain and treatment delivered with such genuine kindness. In all my years of being fearful of a dentists visit, Dr Gyeong has restored my faith and I won’t be going anywhere else again. Today’s second visit to complete the root canal was a pleasure. Negative experience: We went to this dentist, and we were extremely disappointed. The doctor, who was either Iraqi or Iranian, took an X-ray, examined the tooth, and charged €180, only to say that they couldn’t perform the root canal treatment—probably because they were afraid to do it. Then, they referred us to another doctor in the next room, who took another X-ray, examined the tooth again, and charged another €180. In the end, this doctor also said they couldn’t do the treatment. So, after paying €360, absolutely nothing was done to my tooth. A complete waste of money! The client name is Bekir Berk Pınarbaşı

Negative experience: **This place is a scam. Avoid** Went to Smiles for treatment on a sensitive tooth. Was charged additional 70 euro for an x-ray they insisted I have even though I told them they had taken one the previous year which I still had in my email. They falsely told me that I needed a Root canal, crown and a grand total of NINE fillings, which made me think something was wrong as I have my teeth checked regularly and had not needed any fillings at previous check ups. I was presented with a treatment plan coming to a staggering 3,500 euro and told that I could pay in installments. Left Smiles with the sensitivity still not treated. Went to a different dentist who saw straight away what the problem actually was. They said I didn't need root canal at all, the sensitivity was caused by the tooth next to the one that Smiles said needed root canal. I needed a filling to sort the issue. 90 euro I was charged by the other dentist and all sorted. They also told me that scams like this are quite common. This place will try to trick you out of your money, insist on x-rays and treatments that aren't required while not actually fixing the problem you have. I would advise anyone thinking of going to Smiles dental to go to a different dentist. Go somewhere reputable that won't try to rip you off by advising that you need treatment that you don't actually need.

Fantastic experience: I had a old broken tooth causing pain went there as emergency patient the Receptionist was lovely and made me feel at ease and the Dentist was caring and explained to me everything he was going to do it was a painless extraction and overall a calm experience.

Negative experience: failed filling treatment was in very bad pain since. we rang two days we were told that we have to pay for extraction for the same tooth.

Negative experience: Horrible stressful experience, traveled from Drogheda to Dublin in the morning just to get a tooth extraction which the dentist then denied and said she never agreed on doing it and also proceeded to give attitude.

Fantastic experience: I lived homeless as a child an as a result I have extremely bad teeth after years looking for a dentist that could help me I finally went to smiles I'm halfway through my treatment of having all teeth removed and replaced and I have to say every single week I get nothing but kindness and respect and easyly the best dentist iv seen and iv seen alot they always follow up and make sure everything is OK and are also very happy to help with small things like letting me put my bike inside another couple of weeks and I'll be all done and I will be doing a story about how much impact they have had on my life couldn't recommend higher!

Negative experience: Dentist at the far right and back paid no care towards me as a client. The assistant was very kind, possibly new, she showed me to the seat. When the dentist had checked me and gave me his “treatment plan”, I asked about some further concerns I had about my teeth, which he dismissed and corrected me abruptly on. When we finished the conversation, they left me in the chair with glasses on in silence. I asked if there was anything else I needed do? To which they responded no, I handed the glasses back, thanked them and left. Definitely not worth 60 euro for a checkup that I didn’t feel cared for or heard in. Honestly felt like a money scam, asking for x rays to “double check” things that I didn’t agree with. It’s my body. If you want my money, do better Smiles. Negative experience: Went to O'Connell street clinic in the afternoon around 2pm today (03.08.24 )for the treatment, the receptionist has some really toxic attitude ,I am a regular client for smile dental for years,I find most staff in there are very friendly and helpful but this receptionist shows that she absolutely hate working in there and she only want to do the bare minimum.She was rude and impatient towards me for no reason, it's so unfair to the customers who pay a lot of fees to get their treatment done there.

Positive experience: Got offered an appointment at short notice but when arrived the dentist I was meant to see didn't show up and had to wait an hour for another dentist who had little time with me as was nearly closing. Used my PRSI but only received checkup and not cleaning. Unclear about charging for future work required and was told could cost this but can cost this.

Fantastic experience: I was booked in with Dentist Octavia-Mihai Anghel today as I had a cracked tooth causing extreme pain , I was given an X-ray straight away and the tooth was extracted.. He was brilliant would highly recommend.. Girl on desk was very helpful also .. Will defo go back and would recommend as some other dentists don't open late and have lomg waiting lists.

Negative experience: I asked them an invoice multiple times. just after my appointment the said that they would send it via email. I called three times and I sent them multiple emails. I need just a simple invoice to claim a refund from the insurance company, but I don't know why they have been so difficult to work with. My appointment was on the 4th of November and today in the 12th of December I am still waiting for it

Negative experience: Had an appointment this morning i was late phoned to say i was going to be late, lovely receptionist said that no problem, got there 940 appointment was 930 ...in the treatment chair to be told over and over again by the dentist im late and he could not fit in clean / polish and filling in my treatment so said just do my filling if that helps then he said okay like he was doing me a favor. i thought im paying to be treated like this however his hostile treatment how he was repeating to the dental nurse note down hes late and back and forth with me that i was late thought im out of here he had no compassion tottal he was off i was full of fear when he start the treatment i just couldnt go through with it got up and walked out i would say AVOID this dentist

Positive experience: Going to the Dentist is as most people know is for some a very harrowing experience I have myself being to lot's of Dentist over the years but a few year's I had a very painful tooth ache and was looking for a Dentist on a Sunday I typed in Dentist surgery in my area on my laptop and checked what was available I came across Smile a d rang them the girl on the phone was great and I got a appointment for later that day when I got there I was given a form to fill in one of the questions was are you a nervous person I ticked yes the Dentist I got was great everything was explained to me and a lot of care taken to put me at ease I had my tooth removed with little or no fuss even the injection to numb the area was done with ease I have gone to Smile eversence and just a few days ago had 3 teeth removed with no fuss the staff are great there would recomend Smile the Smile I go ti is on OCONNELL street Dublin so very convenient for anyone D

Negative experience: My appointment was at 5:30 pm, when I got here to get the form, I waited for more than an hour and a half, and no one explained to me why. I asked the customer service staff 2 times, the first one couldn't give any explanation, and the second one directly asked my name, and the person disappeared. I wonder why? Am I not a consumer? I'm also not a free user.

I think someone should explain that customers are the ones paying her wage and she should treat them nicely and not give them an attitude by whispering stuff like ‘oh god’ when asked something, I don’t think I will be back in this place again after how I was treated!

Fantastic experience: Best practice I've ever attended. Professional friendly and kind staff. Just had 2 implants. The process was painless.

Negative experience: Absolutely terrible. During a routine check-up, a dentist told me that I needed 4 fillings, and that she could do them for me there and then. This was rather strange, because I've never had a filling before and had no pain or sensitivity in my teeth. I politely declined despite her ominous warnings that it will only keep getting worse. Eventually she dropped it and I went on my way. I then got a second opinion from 2 separate dentists who said I had absolutely no need for fillings and that my teeth were in perfect health. So in order to make more money, this dentist was willing to drill holes in my teeth and do work that wasn't needed. This is morally reprehensible, and I nor my partner will ever be returning. Disgusting behaviour.

Fantastic experience: I called the practice about an extraction, I spoke with a very helpful woman called Michaela who helped me get all the information I needed as well as offering to help me schedule an appointment. It was top service and I couldn't be more impressed.

Fantastic experience: The facilities are nice, modern and clean. The staff is highly skilled and always delivers good results. The opening hours are great, you can book your appointment early morning at 8am or later evening at 7pm to suit your working hours.

Fantastic experience: My dentist put me at such ease and was very clear about and included me in all decisions that were being made. Anything that effected the end bill was explicit, which I have found has not been the case in other surgeries before. I felt a massive sense of trust in my dentist to do their best for me and a v tricky tooth. Had a bit of a fear of the dentist going in and realised I had a fear of my old dentist, not of all dentists. Will be visiting smiles O'Connell and dentist Bogdan as long as I live in the same city as them.

Negative experience: Don't go to a dentist called Bogdan Manea, he's just in a hurry trying to make money, rushing patients, however Rodrigo the nurse is very nice. Sadly we a group of patients won't be back there anymore

Negative experience: Had been booked in for a surgical extraction on a Sunday afternoon, smiles dental text me on the Sunday morning to tell me that my appointment had been cancelled and to ring to reschedule. I tried ringing the clinic 4/5 times that day and nobody answered. Personally felt like they felt no responsibility for duty of care for their patient's and I won't be returning.

Fantastic experience: I had a great experience with this clinic . I went for a descale and polish and I could claim with my PRSI was only 15 euro . It was a while since I've been to a dentist and they gave me a full examination and it turned out I needed fillings . Was booked in straight away and they could work around my busy schedule. The staff is so polite and friendly. The building is a very unique layout and style which I loved . Overall an excellent experience.

The receptionist got me an appointment for first thing this morning at very short notice. Had teeth clean, polish and replaced filling also managed to do another filling on one needed on another tooth. Attended to by Dr Anthosh Naidoo who was very kind and professional as was her assistant. Negative experience: On Saturday last 28 my partner had extraction done, which he was told previous Saturday when he asked would cost €150. He was given bill for €156.00. When asked what the extra €6 was for he was told it was covid charge for cleaning /sanitising. They should be keeping their place clean anyway so why the charge? Greedy and profits. This is been reported to authorities.

Fantastic experience: I've been a patient for 10 years. I've had a variety of treatments and I am very pleased with the services. I used to be a patient of Dr Ahmed, who is wonderful and recently, I was lucky enough to be treated by Dr Kumar. He has decades of experience and is amazing. I am a nervous patient so I am very particular about who I am treated by. If you want to be treated while your dentist sings (that how much Dr Kumar loves his job), visit this Clinic.

Fantastic experience: As someone who's absolutely terrified of dentists & I know this day & age it's just downright silly of me, I'd to visit Smiles on O'Connell St due to having a broken tooth. Dr Mohammad was absolutely fantastic, he explained everything & put me at ease straight away, not condescending in how he spoke to me and most importantly no pain whatsoever. This is the 1st time is 40+ years I won't be anxious when making a follow up appointment.

Negative experience: Definitely DO NOT GO there. The only time I got there I was said that I had a cavity between 6th and 7th tooth (right side) and this dentist gently offered to work on it right away. I was surprised, since I have never had any of those and decided to go to another professional, who told me (after a general check-up) that in order to detect an interdental cavity he needed to do some x-ray/radiograph. He did so and confirmed me that there was no cavity. Conclusion: if I had gone for the gently-offered treatment that the Smiles Dentist suggested, I would have now real cavities. T e r r i b l e.

Fantastic experience: Dr Mohammad was so nice and gentle on my visit, he explained exactly what he was going to do and it was over before I knew it. If all dentists were as patient and kind as him there would be no nervous patients. Thanks so much.

Fantastic experience: I find smiles on O'Connell Street to be very professional the staff at reception are really nice and patient. I lost my two front teeth in a hit and run. I had to get an implant and still have a bit more work to get done I can't recommend Dr Koukoulis highly enough he explained everything he was going to do and answered all my questions making me feel at ease I didn't feel any pain and can't recommend Smiles enough. Fantastic experience: I've been going to Smiles O'Connell St for many years. Throughout those years I've been seen by a number of different dentists and I've been happy with all. Dr Laima is the dentist I have seen on my last number of visits and deserves a special mention. Dr Laima has a very calming manner and I'm always pleased when I see that she will be looking after me. There is another male Dr I've seen several times previously, but I can't remember his name - I should really try root it out! He's an absolute gentleman.

Fantastic experience: Smiles is the best dentist around, very clean and very professional,if your afraid of the dentist, SMILES will change that they make u feel at ease and comfortable. I need a clean done if ye can just txt me thanks!!

Negative experience: I won't be returning. Got a scale and polish done here and most staff are quite nice and helpful. However the one dentist that was doing the polish I found to be very berating. He knew I was a nervous person but shared no sympathy and didn't seem to care less. He made all sorts of comments about a deep clean and even braces even though I was saying no thanks He insisted i should. Obviously I stuck with my gut and said no because of all people I didn't want to see him again. I got a second opinion from another dental for a routine check up and they were confused as to why I would be told I should gwt this when they could see my situation wasn't that severe. Which I knew it wasn't. Even they said I can get them but it isn't mandatory to get on with things. This guy (non Irish at smiles I think) probably just fancied a bit extra in his pocket and probably loves watching people get scared. What gets me as well is, they told me this guy would he very nice during my initial appointment but I won't him to be very berating and probably a little demanding. So no, sorry Smiles but while that guy is there working with people's teeth, I won't be coming back anytime soon.

Fantastic experience: I received root canal treatment from Dr Malgorzata Zaleska, she was absolutely lovely at each of my appointments. She made me feel at ease and very comfortable during each session. She showed great patience with myself (nervous patient) and I will gladly go back to her when I need another dentist visit.

Fantastic experience: I had a recurring wisdom tooth infection with 3 appointments needed to clear it. Had two wisdom teeth extracted today and I just have to say how friendly, professional and caring my dentist, Mohammed was. I’m a super nervous patient and he took every care to make sure I felt at ease, with no pain and gave me plenty of breaks to check in and give me time to calm. The surgery was quick and pain free. And on top of that, every reception team member I’ve dealt with has been easy going and keen to help. Couldn’t fault the experience at Smiles.

Fantastic experience: The dentist that saw me couldn't have been more professional and thorough. I was dreading my cleaning as I'd been avoiding it after an extended delay with the lockdown. I have a fixed bar holding my bottom teeth straight from my braces where plaque builds. The dentist cleaned it with such efficiency and precision that it was thoroughly done and over in no time. She followed with a plan for extra work that needs doing which she clearly listed in order of urgency and assured me there was no rush on anything just yet. Overall I felt cared for and well treated. Highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: I was seen by Kumar Karra, henceforth he shall be known as the Wizard. Absolute gentleman, didn't hurt me and was extremely concerned that I was comfortable at all times. His assistant was extremely nice too and the receptionist was so friendly and helpful. The whole team work well together to make the visit as pleasant as possible. I have found my dental healthcare professionals for life here. I would give them more stars if I could. Highly recommended.

Fantastic experience: I have been to Smiles Dental Clinic on O'Connell Street a number of times and each time I have had a great experience. I have had two treatments there within the past week by Dr. Amna Sqqib, and her work was fantastic; she was also very pleasant to deal with and did not seem to mind one bit, all the numerous questions that I asked about the treatments I was having done. I also dealt with a Receptionist there named Laura each time, and her Customer Service was outstanding, she made me feel very welcome and was very helpful. I would highly reccommend Smiles Dental Clinic, O'Connell Street to anyone who is looking for excellent treatment and customer service.

Fantastic experience: Had a root canal done with doctor Mohamed, I am very happy with the final results. He was extremely nice during the procedures, professional and careful as I am very sensitive to pain also he plays a strong attention to details which I really like. Fantastic experience: I had a fantastic and pain-free visit to Smiles recently. After my initial exam and cleaning I was told I needed a filling and was able to book in for a date / time that suited me. The staff were very welcoming and my appointments were on time. Thank you to Dr Michael Koukoulis and his nurse Marta for looking after me and I promise to not leave it so long again for my next visit!

Fantastic experience: My first visit to Smiles dental was an excellent one, I was having a check up and cleaning. I was seen on time no delay my dentist was Lamia and she was very friendly and very professional as was her assistant. I felt fully confident in the care I received. I will definitely be back.
