DR. BRIAN O LEARY DENTAL SURGERY

Negative experience: Absolute joke of a dentist complete disgrace and the most ignorant man you'll ever meet. please stay well away from this dentist. I went in for my tooth to be removed left me without knowing anything for weeks just cleaning my teeth not telling me anything. Then pulled my tooth and left half it in the gum and threw me out. 2 years later still not the same. Absolute disgrace.

Negative experience: Snobby, entitled and takes the easiest option; not what’s best for the client. I am late writing this review. In 2021 I was issued two old, mercury style fillings without prior consultation of the style of filling. It was unsolicited and I only noticed after the procedure. I naturally had a prima facia presumption that a modern white filling would be used. The attitude when questioned was very entitled and arrogant and offered zero empathy after the fact. One tooth is now discoloured as a result of the old filling and lives with me. Switched dentists and was advised that it is often the easy way out for unprofessional practice and that they would never use old style fillings in today’s practice. I was 17/18 at the time. Highly taken advantage of. Pathetic business, do not care about clients or consumer rights. Do not use this dentist if you care about your teeth.

Negative experience: Recommended by a friend as a good dentist first appointment done nothing only make the second appointment when a family member rang about it was given the wrong date then he’s refused me treatment. The receptionist is as ignorant as they come no help at all. My mother had to argue with her for 20 minutes to get a prescription. If you are in urgent need of dental care go elsewhere for your own sake. They also don’t tell you the policy until after a situation has occurred. Example refusing to provide a refusal of treatment letter. Another tip always record your phone calls with them as evidence.

Negative experience: The lady at the reception just to get rid of. They don't help you at all if you say you have toothache. Not even a change to talk to the doctor.

Fantastic experience: Excellent, efficient, helpful and very friendly. From the moment you walk in you are made to feel very welcome. Not good with dentists myself due to previous experience with other dentists over the years, however, there was no need for me getting myself worked up as soon put at ease not just by dentist but by all staff at the surgery. Would highly recommend

Negative experience: bad dentist avoid i went there for fillling bottom tooth they left to high it broke my top tooth when i went back they said they did ont no wht was wrong whet to another dentiest what they had dont had to get top tooth pull out,up till this i had only losed 1 tooth
