Fantastic experience: After over 20 years of avoiding dental treatment in Ireland due to a traumatic experience in the past, I finally found the courage to return - and I am so glad I did. My recent visit to Dr. Slavi , Oral Surgeon at Pembroke Dental Clinic in Kilkenny was truly exceptional. Dr. Slavi is highly professional, was very informative, and has a lovely chairside manner. He immediately put me at ease with his calm, confident approach, and for the first time in decades, I felt I could fully trust a dental professional in my town again. The entire staff at Pembroke Dental Clinic Kilkenny, were absolutely lovely — warm, genuinely helpful, and friendly from the moment I walked in. This experience has completely restored my faith in Irish dental care, and I can't thank Dr. Slavi and the team enough. Highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: As someone who's a very nervous patient when it comes to dentists, I couldn't recommend this place enough. I personally had been dealing with Dr Allis and Kelly - two exceptional women in their field of work. They really made me feel at ease by explaining everything to me, reasuring me, and taking their time. Also gave me the option of leaving it a couple of weeks between appointments to heal fully and prepare for the next appointment. So professional, and just generally lovely ladies to deal with.

Fantastic experience: I have had a very stress free time today and last time with dr Sinead ( I hope I spelled that right). Such a lovely staff, If you have any problem they will sort you out in no time. No questions are stupid, every concern is looked through, and I will continue my journey with them! Receptionist also very lovely and relatable, prepared for all your questions!

Fantastic experience: I could not recommend Pembroke Dental in Kilkenny more - the moment you walk in, you feel comfortable and at ease, the staff are so lovely! Huge THANK YOU to the amazing Dr. Charly and nurse Jodie who make an absolute dream team and looked after me so well that I went from being so nervous about going to the dentist to being 100% comfortable and confident in a span of a couple of visits. And that's saying something, considering I had a root canal done! Dr Charly is super thorough, explains everything clearly and lays out the treatment options so you always feel informed. Genuinely had a great experience, 11/10, super highly recommended!

Fantastic experience: Had the most amazing appointment today under the care of Dr Plemmenos,I had an extraction and cleaning. I have a serious phobia about visiting the dentist but he was absolutely amazing, understood my fears and gave me time outs to take a breather and gather myself, I would highly recommend this practice, From The minute I walked in the door to the time I walked out I was treated with kindness and respect by all staff members and I will definitely be back for my Yearly check ups, Thanks you so much to all and The Pembroke Dental Team

Fantastic experience: Had an amazing visit to Pembrook dental Kilkenny, from the moment I walked in the staff n especially the receptionist made me feel so welcome n at ease. Was very nervous going in but the nurse Jodie called me in n explained step by step what was happening all the way. The care n attention I received from both the dentist Charly n nurse Jodie made the tooth filling n clean an easy going experience. Fantastic experience: I’ve been trying to sort my tooth for nearly a year now. Went in and thought I’d be sent somewhere else again but the lovely dental nurse Kelly made sure I got sorted. She was so considerate and went completely out of her way to help me. Edel was great too x from a very happy patient

Fantastic experience: I had periodontal treatment done at Pembroke Dental about a year ago and aftercare since. Dr. Carlos Castillo was the periodontal specialist who carried out my treatment. Dr. Castillo was very thorough and professional in his work. He was also friendly and always made me feel at ease. Since my treatment, I have noticed that my teeth feel stronger and that my gums have become pink whereas before my gums were red. I would highly recommend Dr. Castillo and all the team at Pembroke Dental.

Fantastic experience: So happy I picked this clinic. Thought I'd never go back to dentists as a very nervous patient. Dr Charly is a very skilled dentist, he saved my broken tooth that needed a complex root canal and reconstructed it basically from nothing. He is very patient and meticulous in his work as well as being super kind and caring to his patients. Thank you to the lovely nurse in the appointments as well,she was great. Definitely the dentists of my choice from now on.

Fantastic experience: Sinéad and all the team are always professional and kind. I attended for an implant and am delighted with the results. Sinéad explained the entire process and i felt at ease at every stage.

Fantastic experience: I never thought I'd let another dentist near my teeth for all the money in the world. My regular dentist, Bill referred me to Kate and now there's 2 dentists I trust implicitly. Kate and Liza really are a perfect team. I needed sedation but due to being let down at literally last minute, i couldn't have it. I decided to go without sedation and i was absolutely terrified. Liza and Kate really did work magic because she was finished before I even knew what was going on. Thank you ladies, you're both exceptional and certainly calmed my shattered nerves and copious stress levels

Fantastic experience: The team at Pembroke Kilkenny were very accommodating when booking my appointments, especially Trish at reception. It is a very welcoming clinic and Dr. Charly made me feel very comfortable while getting my teeth cleaned.

Fantastic experience: Definitely changed my opinion of dentists after visiting with doctor Charlie. He is so nice and explains everything so well. His nurse Kelly I think, was also very helpful. Trish on reception great help with all my next appointments. I am actully looking forward to returning.

Negative experience: A little bit disappointing experience for me due to the fact that one would think that a fully comprehensive service also includes assistance with exercising the entitlement to Treatment Benefit Scheme offered by Irish Department of Social Welfare. The receptionist did not inform me before I took a treatment that due to unforeseen delays in getting update from Social Welfare system I will be charged the full list price on that occasion. If I knew that before I took a treatment I could decide if I still WANT or CAN AFFORD to take it. On discussion it turned out that that the system was generally slow what was supposed to assure me that all is in order with my PRSI contributions and that this happens to many people nowadays. I can only imagine how many people could not avail of the Scheme for very same reason I could not and faced the full charge (despite being entitled to reduced one) and hit the wall when trying to square the things out afterwards. One could claim that I should ask whether I will be charged full price due to system being slow in showing my entitlement to the Scheme. I regret I did not. However despite mistakes being made on both sides and after checking with Department of Social Welfare that the entitlement is there for me, when I turned back few weeks later to the Pembroke Dental Clinic in Kilkenny trying to find a middle ground I faced rather sarcastic receptionist. I wrote this review because I feel that everyone has a right to make informed decisions and all the information that is available there for them should be outlined as a part of fully comprehensive service in any profession.

Fantastic experience: Such a nice clinic, Dr. Sinead really listens to what you want and guides you in terms of what’s best for you and what you're comfortable with, she's not pushy which I liked. She is very informative and you really get the sense that she listens to your concerns. I've had two Implants with her and will definitely be back for any further dental work.
