Billy Hayes Dental

Fantastic experience: Been a patient of Billy's since I was a teenager, always have the best experience and never feel any pain. Such a gentleman!! Would 100% recommend if you have a fear of dentists. His dental nurse, Elaine is also a really nice lady.

Fantastic experience: Excellent Dentist. Attending Billy Hayes for 5 years. He believes patients shouldn't feel pain of any kind and I have found this to be the case. Along with this he has a life time of experience, I would imagine there are very few things that he hasn't seen before. I'd recommended Dr. Hayes with no hesitation.

Positive experience: Great service from this dental practice as it’s so hard to get a place that takes medical cards so delighted I managed to get in. Lovely staff and Dr Billy is a nice man who knows his stuff. Would recommend.

Negative experience: I would not recommend using this dentist, he runs an emergency clinic between 9 and 10am every morning but does not provide any cover from the elements, no seats and no toilets, I was left standing in his car park for over two hours in the cold and rain, when I rang the doorbell the receptionist told me she didn't know how long I would be left standing in their car park in the cold and rain and that I should go and get a coffee in the café next door. As I didn't have an appointment they expected me to stand all day if necessary in the car park in the rain. there are better dentists in the Dublin 15 area who will provide these basic facilities and not treat you like an animal

Fantastic experience: I am a nervous wreck when it comes to the dentist. I have panic attacks, anxiety I get extremely emotional and exceptionally scared. Billy has always been so nice to me and understanding and helps me remain calm. Always looks after me. Has always done a great job. Wouldn’t go anywhere else. 1000% recommend.

Negative experience: The way I was treated on the phone while making the appointment was enough to put me off to go there.

Fantastic experience: I hadn't been to the dentist in a few years so was dreading making an appointment but had such a lovely experience in this clinic. I don't understand people giving bad reviews for a long waiting time in the midst of a pandemic, this is the new normal now and its not the staffs fault if they have to reduce appointments/get people to wait outside to keep themselves and patients safe. The nurse was lovely and welcoming and the dentist Billy made me feel so at ease and had a painfree visit so was really happy with the treatment I received.

Fantastic experience: I got a Scale & Polish, great service, great advice. The dental nurse Elaine was friendly and welcoming. Billy was professional but refreshingly straight to the point then I've found other franchise dentists to be.

Fantastic experience: The dentist can rarely be classed as a good experience but today I had the pleasure of having a front tooth repaired by Dr. Hayes. I cannot speak highly enough of the entire experience, from the dental nurse, the dentist to the facility, its all world class. Thank you again

Negative experience: Went to see Billy about 2-3 years back, didn't use enough anesthetic and got angry when I asked him to stop pulling the tooth out because of the pain. Never prescribed painkillers after, even though I was in obvious pain and still bleeding.

Fantastic experience: I was always terrified of dentists and I've avoided them for years but I am so glad I chose to go to this one. Billy Hayes and the staff at this place couldn't have been any nicer, great prices compared to anyone else and the service was just brilliant I couldn't recommend it enough!

Fantastic experience: Very helpful staff here. I called them with an emergency and they could not of been any more helpfull they fitted me on the same day. I have pretty rotten teeth and bad breath I have to lay off the chocolate and cakes. The dentist here said it was the worst he ever seen in his 20 years of been a dentist and it was reassuring when he said the rotten teeth and breath like be like new again. It's going to be a long road back but I am sure he is the man for it. He said this time next year I will be able to smile again and stand close enough to people again without them nearly falling over. Thank you so so so much .

Fantastic experience: Needed a few teeth out & a partial denture. Was not looking forward to either,a previous partial denture only came out when I went out etc, I found it uncomfortable and expected this to be the same. Delighted with pain free extractions, and new (much larger)partial denture is a lot easier to wear. Really pleasant Dentist and lovely staff that cater for anxious patients.

Negative experience: Went here a few years back. Filled teeth even though I had no pain but he advised I do it. Wasn't asked about what type of filling so got default ugly silver. A couple of weeks later filling fell out. I went back were he proceeded to file down the tooth on my bottom jaw that connected with the top tooth when I closed my mouth. No warning. I've been to more modern places and I'd probably go there instead.

Fantastic experience: I'm terrified of needles and the dentist. Aware of this fact the staff were exceptionally kind, helpful, and accommodating. I came in with a small problem in the emergency clinic first thing in the morning and everything was solved with no major issues. Highly recommended.

Fantastic experience: I was the first emergency patient yesterday and, as always, was very happy with Billy's work of art and the friendly, personal service I experienced. Before I started going to Billy Hayes many years ago, I was one of the many people "scared of the dentist"! Highly recommended. My thanks to you all.

Negative experience: Rang this dentist this morning (18/07/19) at 9am looking to be seen as an emergency. Receptionist was very abrupt and rude. I told her I was in pain and that there was a bubble on my gum causing my face to swell on the right side but she cut across me and side they do not have any appointments until the 29th. I told her I thought she was very abrupt and rude and I ended the call. It actually says on their web site that emergencies are every morning and no appointment needed but clearly the person I spoke to isn't aware of this advertised fact. Receptionist needs to learn some professionalism and manners. I would not use this dentist practice.

Fantastic experience: Very professional. My 4th visit to this dentist (been to many in the Dublin north area) and couldn't be happier with the service.

Negative experience: Very rude receptionist, I was planning on making an appointment, no answer, hung up, got a call straight after, no polite manner, asking me was I a current patient (in a abrubt manner) needless to say i will not be going there! Maybe get a a polite receptionist?

Negative experience: Edit: I had to visit again due to my filling falling out in just 3 months. The dentists shaved off my other perfect front tooth!!!! Disappointing!!!!!!!! Avoid this place; I have been left angry. My dentist brother considers the work this man did to be extremely below the level of acceptable!!!!!! Got my tooth chipped so I needed to get it filled. The result has been amazing and I am extremely happy with the outcome. Really like the dentist too; very sweet and nice and really takes care of you and if you’re unsatisfied, will keep at it until you’re very sure you feel happy with your teeth. Had a lovely experience. Thank you Billy!
