Fantastic experience: Had a tooth that had chipped and visited harbourside dental clinic Dr McCarthy took xray and repaired the tooth. Very pleased with the outcome. Would recommend this Dental Clinic.

Fantastic experience: I recently visited Harbour side dental, for the first time, I was very impressed. Niall has a wealth of wisdom that extends well beyond his exceptional dentistry. As i sat in his chair he was able to read my subtle bodylanguage and answer my questions/curiosity before i even asked him, this level of situational awareness is rare and it puts anyone at ease. Your certain your in good hands, I had a composite filling done in one of my front teeth, just over a week on now and it looks + feels great,it was fast, well-executed, and very reasonably priced. I highly recommend ☺️.

Fantastic experience: I Got my smile back Thanks To Niall he gave me back my smile. While getting a recent check up with Niall, we talked about one of my front teeth being crooked and how i was so conscious of it. I always thought it meant I needed braces to fix it so I never did anything about it and never really smiled when in photos. But while talking with Niall he said he could fix it and he did his magic and now i have my smile back without needing braces. being very honest, it was an emotional moment and I cant thank Niall and his staff enough. From their professionalism to genuine friendliness they are just brilliant. I now smile with confidence Thank you very much I am forever thankful

Negative experience: I rang today to book in for a check up. Spoke to the receptionist who informed me that I had not showed up to my last appointment which was over two years ago. I explained that I am not the type for not cancelling an appointment beforehand and that this was during Covid, so I may have been sick at the time (I can’t remember exactly what happened as this was two years ago!) I was told that the dentist still wanted me to pay a €60 cancellation fee for the previous appointment. I found this quite disappointing considering I have been a patient here for a few years and would have always said the service was great. However, I’ll now be sourcing a dentist elsewhere.

Fantastic experience: What a gent Niall is and from start to finish there’s a great team there. I absolutely would have been scared of dentists and I was honestly laughing coming out of there for been so silly and waiting until the problem got so bad. 2 teeth removed and absolutely no pain and Niall was so comforting and explained everything and chats away making u feel relaxed and completely forgetting what’s going on. Highly recommend if you are absolutely terrified of dentists or for any dental work. Took a day off work thinking I’d be in an awful way, I came out the door and could have gone straight to work. No fear of going back to the dentist anymore.

Fantastic experience: Dr Niall McCarthy is a fantastic dentist, I can't rate him highly enough! I have always had a fear of going to the dentist and used to work myself up in to an awful state. However, since finding Niall several years ago, my fear has gone. He's reassuring, friendly, highly skilled in his work and gives wonderful treatment and advice. I always thought that having dental treatment was a painful experience no matter who I went to until I found Niall. I still can't believe that it took me so many years to realise that excellent and pain free dental treatment does exist if you have an excellent dentist.

Fantastic experience: It's my first time to go to Dr McCarthy and I have to say he put me right at ease. He explained everything clearly and was making sure I was was ok all the way through my treatment. I would highly recommend a visit to Dr McCarthy if you need any dental treatment.

Fantastic experience: I am a new patient with Harbourside Dental Clinic and I just want to say they are excellent. I had 3 filling done by Dr Brídóg Griffin and she was fantastic. I am very nervous of dentists, she put me at ease and did my 3 filling with no pain or discomfort. I also had a scale and polish and my teeth have never been so well cleaned. I have no hesitation in recommending her as a wonderful dental practitioner. All the other staff j have met are friendly and helpful you really couldn't ask for more. Thank you all so much Myra xx

Fantastic experience: Dr Griffin is amazing such a wonderful welcoming friendly lady as I suffer with anxiety avoided dentist for lots of years I eventually went was shaking so stressed got there Dr Griffin. Fantastic experience: I was recently on a holiday in kilkee, and while there I slipped on a rock and chipped my front tooth while also pushing the tooth up further into my gum. I went to Dr Niall McGrath who saw me within an hour as an emergency patient, I was not in a very good way. Dr McGrath, delayed his patients, reassured me, calmed me down and put a cap on my tooth to the exact match as my other teeth. The next day he even called me personally to see how I was. I would like to sincerely thank Dr McGrath for all his kindness and expertise and would recommend the clinic most highly.

Negative experience: I got a filling few months back on the advice of brid og after a week I was in pain with the tooth I went back and she give me antibiotics and it cleared up. Last Thursday I got an absess on the same tooth I was in excruciating pain.i rang and told them my situation de receptionist told brid og she tld me they cld see me on the 9 of Sept or if they got a cancellation she wld put me on list.I again explained I was in pain numerous times and she just kept saying dere ur options I hung up the phone in disgust.they should be ashamed of themselves they way they treated me

Fantastic experience: Highly recommend this dentist. I went for a checkup with a scale and polish as I hadn't been for years. I found the practice very professional and well natured towards the patient. They fully explain everything they are doing and why so you are informed on any decisions. I later went for a small filling and didn't feel the procedure in the slightest. I've had many dental injections from orthodontist work done in the past and Dr. Niall has been the best injection wise so far. Will go back again for work on a crown and for checkups in time to come. If you are concerned about your dental health they are well worth a visit.

Fantastic experience: I visited this clinic recently to have some work done on my front teeth. Alas, I can say my smile has been restored and I can’t thank the people at this clinic enough. Dr Niall McCarthy is top class and excellent at the work that he does. I’d always hide my teeth away but for the past week I don’t smile without them so thank you so so much! The treatment was astonishing to me and my family members who saw the progress! I couldn’t recommend this clinic enough. Thanks also to the dental assistants Claire who does her job brilliantly and Carol who has a heart of gold. See you all in the future!

Fantastic experience: There are no words to express my gratitude to Martin for all he has done for me. For yrs I've been terrified of dentists and as a result my teeth have suffered . Not only is he a great dentist, he is so kind, and calm and has the patience of a Saint. Highly recommend him to anyone. Also I suffer with tmj and trusted him so much I was even able to get a tooth out without pain to my Jaws................. Negative experience: Arrived with a friend for a dental appt friend was seen and I waited a while and then was told I had canceled Tuesday??? I offered my phone for calls I had made and received but they were adoment that I cancelled I was very disappointed as I had agreed a tooth to be filled and a clean up they also said I had a filling 5 years ago when I don’t understand that as I’ve only lived in Ireland 4 years now would not ever go back there really annoyed made me feel like a liar when they were the one that made a big mistake and not professional at all done in front of other clients

Negative experience: Service shown today was appaling. My friend went with me today as we both had appt they basically called her a liar saying she had cancelled her appt on tuesday which was a lie. They were rude and did not even consider they may have been at fault. She offered her fone so they could see she had not rung to cancel but showed no interest. I have now canceled my register with them and will register with another practice who are more polite and understanding. Good bye and good riddance to a awful service

Fantastic experience: I went to see Dr. Niall McCarthy this morning in harbourside dental clinic to get fillings done. It was absolutely painless even the injections. He did a briliant job even matching the colour of the filling to the exact colour of my tooth. Him and his staff are very nice and very professional. I would highly recommend Dr. McCarthy.

Fantastic experience: I had to have a tooth extracted, however I had problems in the past getting this done with other dentists. From these prior experiences I was very nervous about getting another tooth pulled. Dr. McCarthy was excellent and had the procedure done in no time at all, without any unreasonable pain!!! I would thoroughly recommend this clinic!! Furthermore all other staff I met before/during the procedure were very friendly and helpful!!
