Ongar Dental Surgery

Fantastic experience: Really lovely dental practice! My dentist is Dr Ahmed and I needed a filling done which ended up as a emergency root canal situation. I remember I started getting pains on a bank holiday weekend and Dr Ahmed despite being out still helped to make sure I had pain meds and I think antibiotics during that bank holiday weekend. They seen me straight away the next office day. Then I had to come back in for the crown after the root canal had settled, it was a stressful enough procedure as the first crown did not fit but both Dr Ahmed and the nurse ( I didn’t get her name but she was wonderful and super kind) made it so much easier. Very thankful and appreciate of them both! The quality of service and care for their patients is amazing!

Fantastic experience: Today, I have just been to Ongar Dental surgery, and everything was great from the beginning to the end of my visit. Dr. Obrie and the young lady Domenica, who assisted him, were so nice and professional and made me feel so comfortable and calm during my procedure. Definitely will be back again. Highly recommended to everyone.

Fantastic experience: Required an emergency RCT and Jonathan could not have been more helpful. Seen within 24 hours and all done within 4 days. I’ve been using this dentist for last 10 years and staff and care has always been fantastic. Thanks to dental nurse Lauren also. I couldn’t recommend this practice enough.

Fantastic experience: In the past 2 weeks I've had a filling with Sali, back for a deep clean with Vilte, back again twice for composite bonding with Clodagh! Each and every visit from the ladies at reception through to every member of staff was exceptional. Absolutely incredible work, I can't recommend this practice enough! Thanks so much everyone

Fantastic experience: I got 3 filling here. One was on the front of my top teeth and it was such a perfect match l can't see whare the filling was done. Really brilliant dentists. Very reasonably priced and very friendly staff. Would highly recommend Ongar dentist.

Fantastic experience: If I could give more stars I would! This dentist is clean and nicely decorated, and all the nurses are so welcoming. Dr Saman is just amazing. She treated my 11 year old daughter with such care and explained everything before she did it, answered any questions my daughter had with patience, and nothing was a silly question. She's just lovely to deal with!

Fantastic experience: I can't recommend Ongar Dental surgery enough. I was seen at very short notice for an emergency appointment as I was in agony with my wisdom tooth. The standard of care was great by the two dentists I seen as I was seen by another dentist on my return visit who specialised in wisdom teeth. The prices are very reasonable too so 5 stars from me.

Whenever I need an appointment they always go beyond limits for adjusting me. Dr lee is very competent and she knows what she is doing very professional and kind as a person. Fantastic experience: Amazing experience at Ongar dental this week. From the welcoming reception team who got me booked in when in pain to the brilliant dentist I saw. Right from the start I was relaxed and reassured. They solved my dental pain on the day in a timely manner. I highly recommend for anyone who is like me and afraid of the dentist ! Will definitely be back for my routine visits too !

Negative experience: If I could give half a star, I would. I would rate it 5 for just the receptionist as she was such a lovely lady. As for the experience my partner went through with the dentist and the hygienist, it's a joke. He went in for a tooth extraction on Friday, still bleeding on the Sunday. We went back the Monday to find out he had dry socket. Still some tooth there, they didn't even fully remove it. Dentist tried telling him there was nothing wrong until we demanded a second opinion! Still he got sent home with the rest of the tooth remaining in his gum. No antibiotic for the dry socket. Just told him take panadol. The lady dentist who we delt with on the Monday, had no patience. She wasn't professional at all! The way she spoke down to "her patient" is an absolute disgrace! Everything was rushed, it was like she just wanted us out. Bare in mind, no one else was in the clinic at our time of arrival.

Fantastic experience: Staff are extremely welcoming and pleasant. Make you feel very comfortable and carried out a great job for filling treatment and teeth clean.

Negative experience: My first appointment I was sitting in the dentist for all over now 1hr past my appointment time, the dentist was very rude and did not do the work I was booked in for so I don't have to make another appointment. My second appointment I got a reminder today before. I turned up for the appointment to be told that it was cancelled. The receptionist was very unhelpful. If you want to be messed about this is the place to go

Julie cleaned and polished my teeth she is such a lovely person and gave me great tips on looking after my teeth. Cant forget Claire the receptionist. She is so welcoming, friendly and professional. Cannot thank you all enough for an amazing service.

Fantastic experience: Amazing service as always from Sali. Today my son was booked in for an extraction.when he became very nervous Sali and Dani went out of their way to help calm my son down. I just want to say a massive thank you from myself and Bobby.

In my 68 years of visiting dentists these people make me look forward to my next visit, all the staff there are very professional friendly and helpful I would highly recommend this practice.

It was my first visit to the dentist in years, I was very nervous but was made feel at ease from the moment I arrived, staff were excellent, Sali the dentist explained everything in an easy to understand way, I feel I got the best treatment plan for me. Will definitely be returning.

Negative experience: Disgusting services ever. I had appointment at 6pm on Monday. Nobody was at the Dental clinic. Nobody contact with me about my appointment cancelation.

Fantastic experience: Tuesdays and Fridays - Dr Clodagh Cusack is absolutely brilliant!
