Negative experience: I’d like to share my experience to help others. First, I want to say that I really appreciate the kindness of the receptionist — she was very polite and accommodating. I have difficulty communicating over the phone, especially because I’m not a native English speaker and sometimes don’t fully understand everything. It’s 2025, and I was surprised that appointments can only be scheduled by phone at this clinic. I thought my appointment was on a Thursday, and I crossed the city — almost 2 hours — to get there, only to find out it was actually booked for the following Thursday. Thankfully, the receptionist was kind enough to fit me in on the same day, which I was very grateful for. However, I was quite disappointed with the dental cleaning itself. The dentist was friendly, but the cleaning felt extremely rushed. Only the front teeth, both upper and lower, were cleaned — the sides were completely skipped. The treatment I paid for also included polishing, which was not done, and if it wasn’t necessary, no explanation was given. After the appointment, I went to the bathroom to check my teeth in the mirror and saw plaque and tartar still clearly visible on the lower side teeth. This is the reason for my low rating. If the fact that I was a last-minute addition affected the quality of the service, I would have preferred to reschedule or even ask for a refund. I hope this feedback helps improve the experience for others in the future.

Fantastic experience: All my family attend KBM (even my daughters who live aboard when they are home). The service is professional and caring in equal measure. Every member of the team are a pleasure to meet and ensure that you are well cared for and concerns alleviated. I recommend visiting KBM Dental for all your dental requirements

Positive experience: Dr Renata Balant is a one of the best dentists I've ever seen, however the wait time for an appointment is 6/7 weeks, so I switched to another dentist, as it is just too long to wait for an appointment.

Fantastic experience: I couldn't be happier with my dental implants! Dr. Laura and their team were absolutely amazing. The procedure was painless and the results are incredible. My new teeth look and feel completely natural. I highly recommend them to anyone considering dental implants.

Fantastic experience: My Invisalign experience at KBM dental was 100% positive and successful! Dr Riona Gorman, Dental nurse Niamh and Siobhan at reception really are the dream team and made my experience from start to finish such a pleasure. My top teeth seemed to shift quickly but my bottom eyeteeth took considerably longer but Dr Gorman always remained positive that they’d eventually move into place and I am so pleased to report that they did. I can’t thank her enough for not giving up on me and it was of no financial gain for them that I remained a client for a lot longer than planned so I certainly got value for money and a smile that I am proud of. For anyone considering Invisalign I have no hesitation whatsoever saying KBM dental delivers. So grateful and I can’t stop smiling

Fantastic experience: Great experience with KBM dental. Originally went to the team in 2017/2018 for general check up & decided on composite veneers (2). After 5 years I’ve had them replaced and refreshed (4) with Dr. Ariba & the team and they did such an amazing job! The girls are lovely and v accommodating with appointments etc. Delighted with the results & also received a follow up call a day later which is a lovely touch :). Would recommend the team to anyone Thanks girls!

Negative experience: Was thinking about using KBM Dental but I cannot find any details of prices on your website. Is it not a requirement now to give transparent pricing for customers?

Negative experience: Avoid ! They say they do root canal treatment - they dont ! They will charge u €70 to take a look and then refer you on to another dentist who then wants to charge you again just to take a look before doing actual root canal . I week after referall went through for my elderly father - i am advised of this - bearing in mind he is in pain all this time . Complete waste of my dad and my time

Fantastic experience: I had not been near a dentist for over 30 years so I wS not looking forward to this experience. I was advised by a medical consultant that decaying teeth have a adverse impact on the heart. So off I go seeking a dentist close to where I live. Enter KBM Dental. What a wonderful experience. All my worries were soon dissipated. Dr. Rebecca and her team were excellent, professional, helpful and reassuringly with advice and treatment. What was I worried about!!! I am now undergoing a course of treatment. I would highly recommend Dr. Rebecca and KBM Dental.

Positive experience: Waited a while to be served and very disappointed to hear they are not providing service to Medical Card holders at present due to ongoing dispute with the HSE re payments which do not cover their costs

Negative experience: Made a booking four weeks ago, texted me the day before informing me of cancellation fee if I don't attend. Then called me to cancel just before my appointment. Could not tell me when I would be rescheduled for. Not much of an apology either. Arranged time off work for this short notice cancellation. Won't be booking in here!

Fantastic experience: Can't sing the praises of all the team in KBM Dental Rathfarnham enough. I got invisalign treatment here with Dr Riona Gorman and not only was I delighted with the results but also with the warmth and friendliness both she and the team showed throughout the process. Would highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: So happy with my new smile from KBM Dental. I had invisalign and bonding with Dr. Rebecca and she is just amazing. Such attention to detail and always made sure I was happy with the progress and the final result. It's amazing what cosmetic dentistry can do, can really give you such a boost. I would highly recommend KBM.

Fantastic experience: I have been attending this clinic for the last five years . The dentists are highly professional and friendly . I also bring my two daughters here as the clinic holds no fear unlike past experiences. I would have no hesitation recommending KBM to everyone that I know . A five star service. Just been for a visit. Another great experience ( I know, it's the dentist, go figure!!). The smiling eyed Niamh (masked) met me at the door, took my temp and offered sanitizer then showed me into the gleaming surgery into the care of Dr Daly, a very experienced and empathetic dentist with the very capable assistance of Nurse Niamh. He put me at ease in a second and carried out the procedure in what felt like seconds but took a good bit longer as it was a challenging repair (signs of a misspent youth, too many toffo's). The dreaded job is done, so delighted.

Fantastic experience: Have just started using KBM this year and find them absolutely brilliant, the girls on the desk & dentists are just so lovely and so gentle (I have very sensitive teeth) and I am thrilled with the work I got done, would 100% recommend

Fantastic experience: Have been to this Dentist a few times now. Dr Rebecca Hogan is very professional as is her team. On arrival with the pandemic they take your temperature and have sanitizer available. There are extra measures in place to help prevent the spread of Covid 19. Always leave with a smile, staff are friendly. I'm not a nervous person going to the dentist but 100% recommend them if you are. Dr Rebecca explains everything to you and makes sure if you need to stop to take a minute she will. I've had fillings done in the past here and my oral health has improved alot over the past two years. To my surprise I didn't need any work done this time round. Definitely because I've listened to the advice given to me by Dr. Rebecca.

Fantastic experience: Professional, caring, understanding and top class service. Highly recommend. Dr Rebecca was wonderful this morning with my husband who is ill and she removed a tooth. Great compassion and care. Niamh the nurse is always so obliging. Fantastic.

Fantastic experience: Inflamed gum, could not get an appointment with my dental practitioner due to backlog.....KBM Dental to the rescue! Dentist Rebecca absolutely marvelous as is the dental nurse and receptionist. Exceedingly professional, temperature check on arrival, quick x-ray, problem identified, solution given, in and out within 20 minutes.....Well done KBM Dental, fantastic experience!

Fantastic experience: Myself and daughter had appointments yesterday. My daughter is terrified of the dentist. But had a broken tooth so had to attend. They couldn't have been nicer. The dental nurse Niamh put my daughter at ease and the dentist assured her that she was in control and all she had to do was raise her hand if she wanted him to stop. My appointment was just a check up as I haven't been to a dentist in about 10 years. The dentist was very kind and professional. The premises were spotless also. I highly recommend KBM dental.

Fantastic experience: Have been attending this practice for many years and can honestly say I've never had a bad experience. I was a nervous patient to start with, but all staff made me feel comfortable and I now attend regularly. I have also introduced family and friends to the practice and we have no complaints at all! Overall this is a great practice with friendly and attentive staff, easy access to appointments and definitely provides good advice and value for money.

Negative experience: Nice dentist but very money hungry !!! Was told I needed a “ small filling” which would cost €130. got a second opinion , no filling needed. Only cost 50€ Not the only one who experience this at this dentist ! Kindof feel scammed

Fantastic experience: Got my invisalign done in KBM dental. All of the staff were so friendly and professional, made the entire treatment so easy for me. I'm thrilled with the results and can't stop smiling! I would definitely recommend to anyone self-conscious about their smile to go here.

Fantastic experience: Fantastic dentists. From receptionist dental assistant and dentist herself I was so well looked after, I needed a tooth pulled and I have huge roots so it was quite the job but done so well I had to write a review. I've found my new dentists.

Fantastic experience: ''Of course we can do something with them just tell me what you don't like and we will fix it!'' This is something I never thought I would hear anyone say about my teeth. Having had previous orthodontic work done in my teens and being told that was the best that could be done I had given up hoping I'd be able to get anything better than what I already had. My teeth had been the one thing that always bothered me in photos and I was always self conscious about them when talking to people. I'm so thrilled to say that is no longer the case!!! Less than a year ago I met Dr. Hogan Doyle in KBM dental Rathfarnham for a routine check up when I expressed my massive dislike for my teeth. She asked me why I didn't do anything about it and told me that these days there are all sorts of payment plans that make it completely affordable if that was my concern. I didn't know what she was referring to until she told me about invisalign. I was skeptical that she was being optimistic about the result potential but decided to bite the bullet and trust her professional opinion. She took a couple of photos of my teeth from different angles and said she would be in touch shortly with my first clinckeck. My main concerns were the prominence and over bite of my front teeth , a couple of crooked teeth at the bottom and a few gaps here and there. When I saw my clinckeck I couldn't believe it! Clincheck is the software programme used to produce an after shot of your teeth upon completion of treatment. It was like looking at someone else's teeth!! With some slight apprehension I went ahead and got moulds taken of my mouth to get my personalised sets of aligners made. Each set of aligners were to be kept in for two weeks and then changed to the next set until there were none left at which point the process was 95% complete. At first it was mildly uncomfortable while I adjusted to the aligners but after a day or two they were barely noticeable!!! Even better no one else noticed either until I physically removed them to show them. I have completed my aligners now and I couldnt have dreamed up better results. There is no over bite, gaps or crooked teeth and people I haven't seen in a while instantly notice the difference in both my teeth and my self confidence. Your smile is one of the first thing people notice when they meet you. Before, this is something I would dread but now I am only too happy to make sure everyone can see it. I have 6 months to go on my last retainer and a touch more whitening (optional but important for me). The results speak for themselves! I am so grateful to Dr. Hogan, Niamh and Laura for all their time, professionalism and commitment. The whole team at Kbm dental Rathfarnham made the process as easy as possible to go through and made sure I was happy the whole time. They were thorough in explaining every step and kept a close eye on things through regular check ups to make sure it was all going according to plan...and it did!!! I could not be more grateful to them all and would have no hesitation in recommending KBM dental Rathfarnham to anyone not just for invisaligns but dental care too. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!

Fantastic experience: I’ve had regular treatments at KBM for last 11 months and the care has been excellent the dentist has been Dr Hogan who I’ve found to be excellent, she set out the treatment options clearly and has made all my visits positive experiences. From an appointments perspective they are flexible and have accommodated changes etc with no fuss. The surgery itself is new, bright and modern with lots of parking.

Fantastic experience: Visited KBM yesterday and found the entire experience very positive. From booking the appointment to the appointment itself was very professional and friendly. The girl at the desk was friendly and helpful and put me at ease straight away. The dentist Cathrine was gentle and very reassuring as was her nurse. I was especially delighted that she advised me to not have my teeth whitened for a few months as they were too sensitive. This showed they actually cared and were not about making money. Would would out hesitation recommend this clinic for their care and professionalism.

Fantastic experience: Hi there I attended last week to have a check up and what I thought might be a filling. I was so scared of dentists from childhood a I had to have 9 teeth taken out. So can you imagine my fear. I explained all this to the lovely girl at the desk who kept me calm and took me inside to See the dentist. I felt at ease within just a few minutes the lady dentist was so gentle and explained everything she was doing to me. I actually relaxed towards the end of the visit. I am back in two weeks and I now look forward to it. I want to simply say thanks to the girl on the desk and the lovely dentist. Great service and really nice people.

Fantastic experience: Excellent service . My two year daughter had a fall and damaged her front tooth. She Had never been to the dentist before but i called them late in the evening and they fitted her in. The dentist was excellent she keeped my daughter calm and happy as she examined her teeth which i thought was going to be difficulty. I would thoroughly recommend this dentist and i will be going here in future.
