Fantastic experience: I recently damaged a crown on my front tooth and my dentist couldn’t fit me in for 3 weeks. I phoned Cronin Dental and explained my situation to the receptionist Joanna and she was fantastic. David Cronin saw me that afternoon and temporarily repaired my front tooth. I am now continuing my future dental treatment with Cronin dental. The staff are so friendly and professional, and David really takes the time to explain everything thoroughly. I highly recommend this dental practice to anyone looking for quality care.

Fantastic experience: Would really recommend Cronin Dental. I had my first visit yesterday and will certainly be back. I have sensitive gums and receding gums in some parts but David made sure my scale and polish was as comfortable as possible and it really was. It’s been years since I’ve been to a dentist and didn’t want to squeeze the armrests off! It was over before I knew it. Joanna on reception was great too. Overall a pleasant visit to the dentist!

Fantastic experience: After avoiding the dentist for many years, a family member recommended Cronin Dental to me, and I have been going back every six months ever since. There is no pain with the gel David uses, and he and the team really put you immediately at ease. It helps that himself and the team are good craic too. I cannot recommend Cronin Dental enough.

Fantastic experience: I had a fantastic experience at Cronin Dental, Cork. At the time, I was to have my wedding in 6 months and spoke with Dr. Cronin in relation to invisalign. He talked me through everything thoroughly and attentively, the end result was fantastic and it really only took just over 4 months. With invisalign you only have to get through the first week of discomfort after that it's plain sailing. Would highly recommend both invisalign and Dr. Cronin is professional and sound, great, friendly staff too.

Fantastic experience: I began my Invisalign journey with David about a year and a half ago having previously been told by another orthodontist that I would be unable to go through the Invisalign treatment process and that my only option was to go into a twin-block appliance to correct the position of my jaw and then afterwards, into traditional “train-track” braces which I was told would take about 2-3 years to complete. I was not very keen on this at all and so we sought out a consultation with another orthodontist and that was how we found David. From the moment I met him during my consultation, I knew I was in good hands. When I asked about the Invisalign process, David thoroughly explained it to myself and my mom then proceeded to take a loon at my teeth to see what treatment plan would best suit me. He then gave me the option of another appliance known as a mandibular advancement which is essentially an Invisalign tray with two small wings attached to the backs of both the top and bottom trays. This was a much tidier and more comfortable option than the twin-blocks and I was on board immediately. I went into this appliance and wore it for roughly the first half of my treatment plan and then switched over to the regular Invisalign trays for the remainder of the process (in total this took about a year and a half, if not less). I never had any major issues, but any little concerns I had were dealt with in a very caring and professional manner. Each check-up with David and his wife/assistant Kate, were something I was able to look forward to as the whole team have been so friendly and understanding since the very beginning. Any questions I had were answered properly, no matter how silly I thought the question may have been and I never felt anxious to inquire about anything. Before Cronin Dental, I never liked going to the dentist and would put it off as much as possible, however now I find myself wondering when I’ll get to go back for my routine check-ups/cleanings as I just enjoy the company of the truly wonderful team so much. For anyone looking into Invisalign, I highly recommend this place, you are guaranteed to leave a happy client no matter how old or young you are.

Fantastic experience: I Decided to change my dentist recently and came across Cronin Dental in Ballincollig. I went in for a simple check to see what it was like and absolutely delighted I did! I got Invisalign done, the results were incredible and step by step information was constantly given to me when needed making the whole experience very easy. Any time I rang or came in to the clinic it was relaxed and welcoming. The staff have definitely caused me to become a lot less stressed about going to the dentist which is a massive bonus.

Fantastic experience: I've been to many dentists and without a doubt Doctor Cronin and his team are the best. Always painless due to the skill of Cronin and the equipment and remedies they use. I had an issue with my wisdom teeth and a previous dentist recommended getting them pulled but luckily I got a second opinion from Cronin who immediately used an x-ray to confirm no pulling was needed, in fact I had textbook perfect teeth, so if I had stayed with my previous dentist I would have had a very painful and expensive procedure for nothing, I couldn't be happier with choosing Doctor Cronin and his team. From their professionalism to the down to earth earth conversations they are top of the class.

Negative experience: I was very disappointed with Cronin dental ,he has very unprofessional behaviour and negative attitude, during simple procedure that he manipulated my daughter into getting in first place. He was upset with her reaction to a badly preformed standard procedure and ask her to apologies. He wasn’t professional to admit he’s own shortcomings so he vented his frustration on a child. Won’t be going back there ever again. My child was still traumatized few days after.

Fantastic experience: An irrational fear of dentists had me going only when I was in serious pain and over the years(20 of them!!), it finally caught up with me. I just needed to bite the bullet, get my act together and go!! I started going to David and I found the experience very positive. First visit, I was in a cold sweat, my colour dropped!! Fantastic experience: *New PAIN FREE Treatment * It’s not that I love going to the dentist but it is definitely easier when I know I’m going to Cronin Dental in Ballincollig. David is patient and pleasant, not to mention a great Dentist! AND - his new magic treatment has made cleaning and scaling so much easier! The sensitivity and soreness is gone! #Gamechanger He treats all the family - since they were small kids needing fissure seals to braces advice, through to routine dental and emergency visits. Highly recommended!
