Fantastic experience: I'm 49 years old, I started my orthodontic journey with Joe back on January 19th 2023 with Damon braces, and had them removed yesterday, August 29th 20023, just a shade over 7 months. I always had an annoying snaggle tooth that I wanted sorting, and some misaligned gnashers. Totally delighted with the result, Joe will explain everything along the way from the low friction Damon system, to the action of osteoblasts and osteoclast, and a lot lot more. If you always wanted straight teeth, don't let age be a barrier, just have patience and time.

Fantastic experience: Joe delt with my challenging teeth for over three years. Before Joe I had been to various dentists around Galway that had the space ship dental surgeries and costly charges as-well as (to my surprise) unsuitable procedures for the complex orthodontics I needed. When I first visited Joe his skill and understanding of orthodontics stood out as he was able to identify my complexities in detail unlike the other “high spec” dentists I had visited. Joe took amazing care of my teeth and had detail plans in order for me to get the smile I always wanted - which he presented. Joes surgery mighten be as flawless as other dentistries but unlike them, Joe doesn’t hide behind an illusion and shows that it’s not the high spec equipment that makes a dentist great but his knowledge.

Fantastic experience: I had my wisdom tooth extracted by Dr. Joe. It was completely painless and a nice experience. His charges are not too high either as compared to the rest of the city. This really helped me as a student. A friend of mine also goes here and she too finds Dr. Joe to be very good.

Fantastic experience: I have had a good bit of work done with Joe in the last few years. His attention to his patients and the care I get everytime I go is second to none. I recommend him to all my friends when they need high quality dentistry. Joe is unlike any other dentist I've been to. He cares about his patients, talks you through everything that is going on and tells you exactly what needs to be done in easy to understand language. I never feel rushed, he takes his time ensuring each client gets the correct care they need. His prices are fair for the top quality work he performs, but his empathy is what stands out most for me. I used to dread going to the dentist but I dont have that fear anymore, thanks to Joe. Can't recommend enough.

Fantastic experience: I just finished an orthodontic treatment with Joe to get some pretty substantial gaps closed at the front of my mouth. Joe has been more than accommodating throughout the process, fitting me in at short notice for appointments, replacing lost brackets at no extra charge and changing elastics for some special occasions (when a fresh looking elastic makes all the difference). The icing on the cake was that he actually changed the system of brackets half way through the treatment as the movement from the 'normal brackets' had stagnated and so he replaced them with Damon brackets. The progress once the Damons came on was unbelievable. I highly recommend Joe and think he offers a very reasonably priced and high quality service. I felt like he was advising me as he would advise his own children and family, related to course of treatment. Delighted with the result!

Fantastic experience: Delighted with the results! My young son chipped his front tooth at a football match on Sunday morning. I emailed Joe straight away and he arranged an appointment for my son for the very next day. Joe put my son (and me !) at ease straight away, explaining the process of treating and restoring his tooth. The whole procedure took less than thirty minutes. Fantastic experience: I went to Joe to continue my dental work on my braces while I was in Ireland for two months. No other dentist/orthodontist would touch another’s work, leaving my in a dilemma. Jut as I was thinking I would need to fly to the Netherlands (where my orthodontist is) for a simple tightening, I found Joe. He treated me straight away quickly and efficiently. He was also very reasonable in the amount he charged me compared to other orthodontists. I was very pleased with Joe’s work.

I went to joe one year ago and I hated the thoughts of getting a brace but yet I wanted a picture picture smile !!! He really cares for his patients and puts them at ease, is very accessible and can work around their schedule. After I was initially told by the Clear Braces Invisalign crowd that my case was too severe and I would have to undergo surgery, Joe's knowledge, skill, hard work and dedication proved otherwise. Joe talks you through each step so you always know what stage you're at and gain a greater understanding of the process. Joe's skill set is far-reaching and even cuts the retainers himself, a job which is often outsourced. I couldn't recommend Joe enough and am forever grateful for his work.

Fantastic experience: I recently got my clear braces from Joe, I honestly can't say enough good things about the whole experience. The braces themselves looked great and weren't really noticeable when on and then after only 6 months they were ready to come off. My teeth weren't terrible to begin with but I was still shocked at how quickly and efficiently he had made my teeth look amazing. Not only did he just straighten them, I had issues with two of my incisors being very long and pointy and he shaved them down to look more aesthetically pleasing. Also I've always had white stains on the front of my teeth (because of an illness as a child) and in turn they make my teeth look quite yellow in comparison. After I got my braces off Joe polished my teeth and used a type of bleach to help to reduce the white stains significantly. Joe also put a wire behind my teeth to stop them from moving again in the future and made my retainer for me on the same day so I didn't have to wait or have it delivered. Like I said at the beginning I couldn't have a higher opinion of Joe and would recommend him to anyone looking to get anything done with their teeth.
