Kinnegad Dental is a family dental practice located in Kinnegad, County Westmeath. We offer cosmetic, general and restorative dentistry in a professional and friendly environment, using the latest techniques and technologies.
Kinnegad Dental is conveniently located within a state of the art Primary Health Care Centre on the main street of Kinnegad in County Westmeath. The building also houses Haven Pharmacy Gildea’s, a private GP service 'The Clinic', the HSE, an optician and a beautician. Kinnegad Dental is on the second floor of the building which can be accessed via stairs or electronic lift.
Parking is free at the side of the building. We look forward to seeing you!

Fantastic experience: Previous unpleasant experiences at the dentist had made me switch to Kinnegad Dental and I cannot recommend them enough! I was nervous and dreading my first appointment to be honest but Dr Torres Leavy and Marta were very kind and gentle and made me feel completely at ease. Dr Torres is very informative and doesn’t push a variety of products on you like I experienced at previous practices. Valerie the receptionist is also very helpful and nice to deal with. My partner and mother have now also moved to this practice and I’d recommend them to anyone that has dentist jitters.

Fantastic experience: I'm not a great fan of dentists usually but I had a great experience in kinnegad dental. The dentist was very kind and patient and explained everything really well. Also gave lots of tips on brushing correctly. I'm delighted I found this practice.

Fantastic experience: My second visit to Kinnegad Dental Clinic and I wasn’t disappointed . Receptionist was very friendly and welcoming . Very informative and knowledgeable in relation to paperwork that needed to be completed etc. The dentist was very thorough. As I was very nervous she explained each procedure as we went along. Stopping regularly to ask if I was Ok and giving me a break to ensure I felt as relaxed as I could. Explained the follow up process very well and further treatment necessary. Overall a very professional efficient and effective service. Loved the relaxing videos on the TV screen in the waiting area . Would be nice to see more colour /pictures in the treatment rooms as they are very clinical but that’s just my opinion.

Fantastic experience: A great dental practice. So patient and understanding if you are someone who maybe is not the biggest fan of the dentist due to previous visits. Excellent with kids, especially my neurodivergent boy. They go out of their way to accommodate him.

Fantastic experience: First dentist in a long time that went out of their way to explain everything properly to me and showed such kindness after I had previous bad experiences with other dentists. Fantastic experience: Just to say my experience in coming to kinnegad has been exceptional. I had met Edel in reception who had made me feel really comfortable and relaxed before going into Caroline and Gretta. For an extraction we all thought was going to be not easy, turned out to be such a simple procedure in the expert care of Caroline. Thank you so much again to Edel,Gretta and Caroline. Would not hesitate going back. The service is exceptional.

Fantastic experience: I'went to different dentists due to there not being one in Kinnegad. But I've going to Kinnegad Dental , since it's been opened and excellent service. Would recommend it. They try and make you feel aa comfortable as possible.

Fantastic experience: I have been going to different dentists throughout the years. To say that I am nervous of them is mild. I got 9 teeth removed yesterday by Marcela without being knocked out ! Negative experience: Have been here for the past few years. My fillings that I've got here most of them have broke less then a year after getting them done. Rang up this morning to make an app. For filling and was told that they do not accept medical care patients anymore which is totally discriminating. If I want a filling a need to pay 120 a tooth? That price isnt too far off composite veneers price. For the only dental practice in Kinnegad you dont even look after all your customers. You look after everyone once there is money being paid. Disgraceful will not be returning !
Hi Clara, We’re sorry to hear of your disappointment. The Government and HSE promised over 3 months ago to provide us with PPE to deal with medical card appointments and even though, as you know, the HSE has extremely limited cover for treatments they provide to people each year, to date we have not received one single item of PPE. We cannot and will not put patients at risk so until the HSE delivers on this commitment we have temporarily halted the scheme as we cannot cover these extra costs for every single appointment (extra masks, extra gowns, sleeves, foot sleeves etc) nor the extra time it takes. Many appointment times have now doubled to meet COVID guidelines and ensure patient safety. So we suggest you contact the HSE and/or local TDs whom we have been in touch with about this and ask how they are supporting medical card patients.
Fantastic experience: My whole family have been using Marcella for more than ten years. We attended her clinic in Tullamore and Mulligar before she opened her own business. Marcella want can l say, we are so glad that we found you. You cater to all are dental needs and Edel has been very good at fitting use in when Oscar might have had emergency in the past. Great business hours, not like other local dentists. Marcella and her team always have a ready smile for you and make you feel so welcome. Plus my husband Oscar can chat with you in Spanish. Highly recommend. If there was a ten rating it would be well deserved. 10+

Fantastic experience: Highly and without hesitation I’d recommend Kinnegad Dental. Having used a few of the dentists around Mullingar, I am Delighted to say that my search for the Perfect Dentist is complete. Marcella is Knowledgeable and Skilful and really clear in her assessment and explanation of my dental health. And finally, even though dental work is not cheap, I never get the feeling that I’ve been robbed

Fantastic experience: I have been to a number of dentists over the years. Now my family attend kinnegad Dental and Dr Leavy. From Edel in reception to the assistants in the examination room ..and Dr Leavy herself ...I cannot but highly recommend all. The surgery is always spotless. The staff are very friendly and courteous. Dr Leavy herself has a fantastic way of reassuring you...and has a very calm matter..it's tremendous. I travel here from a distance and ...cannot recommend it enough. Great dental practice

Fantastic experience: I visited Kinnegad Dental today with my daughter who is 4 years old. I found they staff to be really friendly and very helpful. Dr Leavy took the time with my daughter to make sure she was comfortable & felt safe before beginning her examination. Dr Leavy explained every step of the way. Dr Leavy made my daughter's experience that enjoyable she didn't want to leave the practice. Would highly recommend Kinnegad Dental.
