Fantastic experience: I'm coming to the end of my Invisalign treatment and I'm very happy with the results. I was never really happy with my smile and I'm delighted to have straighter teeth now. Dr Claire and her team are so friendly and professional and talk you through every step and are very thorough, explaining the procedures clearly. The staff on reception always make you feel welcome and are very friendly and helpful. I would recommend College Gate Dental for anyone looking for skilled and professional orthodontic services.

Fantastic experience: I had neglected my teeth for years, went to college gate dental as they were recommend to me by my daughter, I got to see Dr Daniele Ryan , she was professional, put me at ease and gave me confidence she could do the job needed. Every procedure done was successfully carried by Dr Ryan , I’d recommend her to anyone .

Fantastic experience: I was very nervous going to the dentist but was amazed at how lovely everyone was to me, I cannot thank Daniele Ryan enough on how great my teeth turned out I am really delighted with my teeth now and the great polishing that was done on them and no pain at all, as well as my fillings. Thank you so much I really appreciate everything that was done for me and would highly recommend them to anyone who needs their teeth done.

I also felt very welcomed considering that I knew my teeth would be in bad shape as I haven't seen a dentist in a few years and used to not take good care of my teeth.

Negative experience: I had been attending this dental clinic regularly every 3 months for over a year, but my recent experience has left me extremely disappointed. After a routine checkup and cleaning on 26th March (recommended due to previous gum concerns), I noticed a chip in one of my teeth shortly after—something that had never been there before. I contacted the clinic and was booked for a follow-up. During the appointment, I was told the chip was too small for bonding and was likely due to teeth grinding—something that had never once been mentioned in any of my previous visits. If there was evidence of grinding or weakness, I should have been informed before the cleaning so I could be aware of the potential risks. What has made this worse is the complete lack of response and accountability. I raised my concerns via email, and while I initially received a reply from David, he has not responded to my last email sent on 8th April or my follow-up on 27th April. I still haven’t received any refund or even an apology. This lack of professionalism and communication is unacceptable. Mistakes can happen, but the way this situation has been handled—or ignored—has been incredibly frustrating. I no longer feel confident in the care provided here and would not recommend this clinic to others.

Fantastic experience: My daughter got her braces done of claire and her team, i couldnt recommend them enough, by far the best dentist and practice, very friendly , professional and helpful

Negative experience: After spending 4 thousand euros for my daughter’s braces, I rang today for an appointment. After being on hold more than once the receptionist told me to wait for a return of call. I asked if her job had changed as she said she didn’t have the power to give appointments.she told me to send in a cv for her to review if I wanted her position. She refused to tell me her name and hung up. I went directly to the clinic and spoke to the physio who is married to the owner. No offer of an apology or investigation. 24 hours later and no return of call. During my daughter’s treatment I have had acquaintances also tell me of certain issues they too had.

Fantastic experience: My daughter (8) has extreme anxiety surrounding the dentist and had to get a filling. Danielle Ryan was phenomenal at putting her at ease, signposting each step of the way and she was able to do the filling. Definitely recommend, very professional and kind to my daughter. Very affordable, and easy appointment booking system.

Fantastic experience: I have had braces on from a different dentist but was never happy with my finished result. I’ve been looking to try find someone to help fix my smile and I was recommended to go and see Emmet Ryan. I can happily say it was the best decision I ever made. I am in the process of having a perfect smile and I can honestly say after just two appointments I can’t wait to see the finish look. Emmet is super professional, kind , very gentle and really good at his job. I am Extremely satisfied with the excellent services. Raphael meets and greets you arrive he is such a kind person. I would 100% recommend this dentist.

Fantastic experience: I brought my daughter here for orthodontics in 2022. I really appreciate the care my daughter received for the past two years with Orthodontist Claire and Laura Herbsta. Fantastic experience: One of my biggest fears over the years was going to a dentist, I had originally set up an appointment here last year and couldn't find the courage to go, second time I made the appointment I had explained my fear & I must say Daniele was fantastic from the initial conversation and made everything so easy and simple, explained in detail every single step, I could not recommended this surgery enough, thank you very much, it's great to smile again

Fantastic experience: I took a decision 8 weeks ago to face my fears and go to the dentist after what has been far too long. I have a severe gag reflex, which in the past has made visiting the dentist extremely difficult. Given the time that has passed Dr Emmet Ryan was faced with both a challenging patient and the double whammy of some complicated work to be done. However, both Emmet and the full team in College Gate have been outstanding showing great care, patience and professionalism, working hard to look after my dental needs. I’d highly recommend Dr Ryan to anyone looking for a good dentist in the area.

Fantastic experience: Very grateful to Dr Deepak Thomas and his dental nurse for their excellent care when I had to have two wisdom teeth removed recently. They settled any nerves I had and made me feel very reassured with their professionalism and caring attitude in the lead up. I felt very well supported in terms of after care and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.

Fantastic experience: An Oral Surgeon and Dental Nurse at the zenith of their expertise. I had an extra tooth which grew seemingly for no reason at the bottom right back of my gum when I was a kid. An x-ray was done at the clinic and showed it grew flat on its belly over the years and was millimetres away from touching the nerve so it was recommended to me that it be removed. The Oral Surgeon Mr Thomas performed the tooth extraction and was aided by Rachel, one of the dental nurses. Intravenous sedation was recommended and organised. Their level of professional skill, precision and aptitude was exceptional. Both Mr Thomas and Rachel were friendly, focused and completely put me at ease with the procedure being done without complication, hesitation or disconcertment. Perhaps in the hands of a less experienced surgeon there may have been complications as it was not a straightforward extraction but that certainly wasn't the case here. The aftercare I received was exceptional also with medications being prescribed to aid with my recovery. The receptionists were polite and professional and looked after all my needs which is the first interaction you have when you arrive at the clinic and I think sets a precedent for the way the practice is perceived by patients.Everything was Excellent. I would highly recommend this dental practice and I have been attending for several years and will continue to do so.

Fantastic experience: I brought my two children here today age 4 and 6. My son is autistic and Dr Emmett was exemplary in his care and empathy for both of them especially my son. Communicative,personable and professional he was the perfect dentist for my children. So lucky to have this service on our doorstep. Could not recommend enough!

Fantastic experience: Just finished up my dental treatment with Dr Stephen. I had been petrified for years to see a dentist from past experiences, my friend recommended Dr Stephen to me and I’m so thankful she did. From the moment you go in your greeted by the lovely friendly receptionist’s, I nervously waiting for Stephen to come get me but by the time I had a chat with him he made me feel so much at ease. Before he injected my mouth you are numbed first therefore you feel nothing. I can happily say the more I went the less fear I had as I knew I was in fantastic hands. All fillings completed and a lovely shiny white smile. I cannot talk College Gate Dental enough. Thanks again Stephen for helping me get over my fear. Anyone that feels they are the same way I was will after 1 visit will feel at ease.

Fantastic experience: I had my wisdom tooth removed this morning at College Gate Dental. Even though I had my top wisdom teeth removed in the past I was feeling quite nervous. The dentist Danielle who is absolutely lovely spoke me through everything, any questions I had were answered thoroughly. She made me feel at ease with her gentle caring approach. I barely felt the numbing injections she gave me & the extraction was so quick & easy I couldn’t believe how soon it was all over. All the signs of a great dentist. I’ve to get my second wisdom tooth out in 2 weeks & I know I’ll go in to that appointment knowing I’m in good hands & a lot less nervous. The receptionists, dental assistants are also so lovely & helpful. At home recovering now, just a little sore but feeling good.I highly recommend College Gate Dental.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Emmet is a brilliant dentist! I'm just home from my second visit with him and I wouldn't know I had any procedures done today as I am in no discomfort at all. He is so kind, chatty and caring. He talked me through lots of different options and made me feel completely at ease. Both times I left the clinic with a spring in my step and in a great mood! Fantastic experience: Had multiple appointments in this Dental Clinic and was satisfied with the results every time. Overall the environment of the clinic is extremely friendly and welcoming, from the staff at the front desk to the Dentist herself and the dentists assistants. I was surprised to learn that Daniele was a relatively new Dentist as she works as though she had been an expert in Dentistry for much longer.

Fantastic experience: During the horrible time of covid I had a very bad tooth that was very deep rooted and causing me excruciating pain. I hadn't been to a dentist for about thirty years due to a very bad experience, no names mentioned. I really didn't know were to turn. I checked for local dentist's in the hope that I could get some help. I rang College GateDental clinic and a very kind receptionist made an appointment for that afternoon where I met Victor and he along with his assistant made me feel very relaxed and talked me through everything he was doing, he had some job that day, He was amazing. From that day forward I promised myself that when covid was over I would return and get my very badly neglected teeth sorted. In May of this year I finally decided to make an appointment, it was then I met Dr Daniele Ryan who has since done amazing work on my teeth that were so discoloured and broken. I never could have believed that it would be possible to ever restore them. After some fillings Daniele referred me to her colleague Estelle Farrelly an unbelievable hygienist who took great pleasure in restoring my teeth, she did a brilliant job. Then back to Daniele and her lovely kind assistant Nana to have a mould made in order to whiten my teeth, and finally today Tuesday September 5th just back after having my front teeth sorted out with composite bonding. Spent three hours with Daniele and Nana, I was very emotional when I saw the result of the finishing touches to my lovely white teeth, poor Daniele and Nana, sorry for the little cry of joy. I am so happy to say at least I got one good thing out of the dreaded covid times, I found my forever Dentist in College Gate Dental clinic. I also want to say to Carmel, Linda, Raphael and Debra on reception, you are the kindest most patient people I have ever encountered. Daniele you are amazing, you made me feel so at ease from day one also the lovely Nana, your smiles are infectious, you are a perfect team. I really enjoyed my time with you and the brilliant soundtrack in the background. I never thought I would say this but it was a pleasure to be with you, thank you all so very much for everything. Fantastic experience: What can I say but exceptional! The care, the attention, from putting me at my ease as I have a fear of the dentist to the actual work that was done. At all times I was made to feel in control, relaxed and informed every step of the way. Their pricing was clear, easy to understand and very reasonable. The quality of the work done was excellent and at no time was I made feel rushed or pressurised. I will be back to Danielle as she is a true gem. For someone who has avoided the dentist for a decade I now will be the opposite and have already scheduled my check ups and actually look forward to the visit. Fantastic experience: I would highly recommend collage gate dental as I went into them with sever pain in my jaw and swelling as I had a bad tooth ,Dr.Daniele & nurse nana seem to me straight away and helped me with everything I needed , I’ve had an extraction and 2 fillings done by Dr.Daniele and nurse nana and they made my experience so nice and relaxing as I have a fear of dentists but they’ve helped me overcome that fear with how nice and relaxing they made me feel I’ve also had a scale and polish and couldn’t be more happier with my teeth so far all thanks to you guys so thanks very much again ❤️‍

Fantastic experience: I have recently visited college dental to start the process on my daughters braces. They are very professional and made my daughter feel at ease from the very start They have explained things clearly and I am happy to start her journey with them. I have had one big filling, a small filling & root canal treatment with Daniele. I would highly recommend Daniele. She is great at her work and extremely patient and understanding.

She is very competent and professional and also extremely kind and empathic. She followed up with regular calls and her dedication and genuine concern was very evident. Fantastic experience: I want to tell everyone about the great experience I had with Claire and her team at College Dental. I came to Claire in August 2019 when I was 42.5 years old. I went to a different orthodontist and was recommended that I needed surgery to repair an overbite at a cost of €12k! In my despair, I decided to get a 2nd opinion. I had an x ray so Claire could determine the treatment I needed and to check my bone structure. She clarified that I needed braces for 2 years approximately, so I got my top cosmetic brace fitted the following week and bottom soon after. €170 per month over 2 years. My treatment took 3.5 years you Claire will advise you and give a an approximate time scale for your treatment. It could take longer so be prepared for that. So worth it in the end! Nobody liked the dentist and wish I did this years ago. I'd like to really thank Claire and her team, Erika, Katie, friendly receptionists, dental nurses, Eva and other, hygienists, Sarah and Laura and the staff in College Gate who I came into contact with and worked on my teeth. Big shout out to Dr. Stephen Taylor who did my composite bonding also.✌️ College Gate stayed open all through COVID19 to keep my treatment going. Claire is extremely experienced and an expert in her field. It was a long process but overjoyed with my results. I'd wholeheartedly 100% recommend College Gate for any dental work, braces, or orthodontal treatment for anyone. I contemplated going to Turkey but got everything I needed and more right here in Dublin. College Gate is also a great location for parking, buses, close to the M50, lunch next door in Eurospar and pharmacy too. Love my smile and thank you so much again, Claire

Fantastic experience: First time coming to College Gate Dental and I don’t think I’d go anywhere else! The girls in reception were so welcoming. Stephen is the denist there and he is amazing so genuine and really nice, my whole process was so quick and easy I was in and out I got internal whiten done on my tooth and the difference is just amazing I am absolutely delighted with the work he done on my teeth! For someone who works a Mon-Fri job this practice made my appointments easy to attend as Stephen sits early and late some evenings. Overall I would highly recommend Stephen, I have already recommended this place to so many friends and family. I will 100% return here

Negative experience: Very disapointed with the service i got . Claire told my 12 year daughter and myself they could do braces for my daughter ..done x-ray and 3d scans singed the contract ... then on my 4th appointment... they told my daughter she would have to wait till she is 16 years off age and need jaw surgery not mentiond befor in previous appointments... not reconmend very bad business indeed ....

Negative experience: Excellent doctors and polite staff at this clinic but their payment and accounting system is a hot mess. I made the mistake of giving my card details over the phone a couple of times for a refundable "booking deposit", I never got the money back even though I attended all appointments on time. I lost 110 euro in total this way. Edit : same name used for booking. My wife (Akila) was also another patient. Edit 2 : Nobody contacted

I felt very welcomed and supported from start to finish . My treatment was Pain free and very professional with Stephen and the staff . Negative experience: Worst orthodontist you could have... took almost 4 years for a simple job. She left the job unfinished. We raised a complain within the clinic they didn't do anything about that. EDIT- THIS IS THE CORRECT PRACTICE THE PATIENT IS MY DAUGHTER. WE HAVE BEEN WITH THE ORTHODONTIST FOR THE LAST FEW YEARS.

Fantastic experience: I've been currently getting dental work off Dr Stephen, he recently done my root canal and a filling and is now working on my crown. I couldn't recommend him enough he makes you feel at ease, each job has been pain free and recovery afterwards has also been pain free. I also like that he plays music while working. Negative experience: I called to do an x-ray for my 3-year-old son who fall and hit his mouth, and the receptionist said they could do it, but at the time of the consultation Dr. Anna Hartnett did not want to take the x-ray, according to her it would not be necessary, even though a change in colour could be noted in the gums and a small lump in the vestibular fundus, according to her we could not see anything in the x-ray and the radiation could be dangerous for the child ,so I insisted without telling her who I was, but she told me to look for someone who would do the x-ray because she would not take it, I, Margaret Marcano as a dentist specialist in endodontics with more than 15 years of experience, I am sure that many things can be discovered with the help of an x-ray, especially after trauma in young children , X-rays are an invaluable tool for diagnostics and if you do not find anything it is much better and your conscience will be clear, radiographic equipment of this generation are safe and do not cause any danger. I understand that each dentist has his own opinion, but what really bothered me was her lack of concern for the patient and her lack of knowledge regarding the radiographic exam. I was surprised when she told me that we could not see anything in the x-ray, wow, I guess in the University did not teach her that radiography is fundamental for the diagnosis of any general treatment, surgical, endodontic, periodontal, paediatric, orthodontic, prosthetic So dear doctor, I recommend a little more curiosity in this profession, dentistry is more deep than cavities and cleaning, and more importantly be careful, you never know who the person in front of you could be, do not take patients as ignorant.

Fantastic experience: I had to change Dentists about a 18 months ago as my previous Dentist retired and I had trouble with a tooth and College Gate Dental gave me an appointment fairly quickly. I attended Anna who was brilliant but she moved on and I was assigned Steven who is exceptionally good. He explains everything he is doing and makes things as simple as possible. I had difficulty with a tooth during the Christmas period and much to my surprise they were open very shortly after Christmas and I was given an emergency appointment and got sorted by Steven. Very efficient and very friendly staff and would highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: I used to hate dentists out of fear for 15+ years until i had to go in after 2 cracked teeth forced me. On a whim I choose this dentist. I can tell you my fear has gone away. I got set up with Steven and it has been an amazing journey so far. I've gotten my teeth filled, cleaned, whitened and soon a replacement cap on my front tooth. He is very professional, patient and understanding, I cant give him enough praise. He is also pretty chill with prices and gives special offers depending on your circumstances, compared to other quoted prices he is a steal. Id highly recommend asking for him, he is a private dental surgeon that rents a part of this building so he is independent. If you are reading this and had fear like me, rest easy knowing your in good hands. Ask for Steven.

Fantastic experience: After having been given the run around by dental practices for years, and having my teeth messed about, I went to Claire's practice and was given proper, informed, advice on treatments without pressure, or fear. Very impressed. Special thanks to Charlie, the young dentist, who was a so friendly and polite and the receptionist who was efficient and friendly also. Top marks all round.

After been given the run around for years, I was finally given a clear, concise plan to fix my dental problems, It's such a lovely experience each and every time I visit. Not a bad word to say about the building which is lovely, or the team who are even lovlier.

Fantastic experience: The best dental clinic that I ever attended so far. Great service , affordable prices , very caring staff, big thanks to young male dentist ( didn’t get his name ) and his assistant for making me comfortable and calm during the procedure.

Fantastic experience: I started off getting Invisalign braces with Claire and have just finished my treatment and I’m absolutely thrilled with them. Claire and her team were always extremely helpful and made the treatment so easy. My smile is exactly the way I want it with a natural look too it. Couldn’t recommend Claire and her team enough they were fantastic from start to finish catering for everything I asked for.

Fantastic experience: In the last few weeks, I've been at the clinic for a root canal treatment and a cavity filling. Claire took care of that, her work was accurate, and my experience was superb. I highly recommend the clinic. Thanks!

Negative experience: My daughter went there in pain, was told in advance it would be 50€, then they gave her an xray which was an extra 40€ she asked was it OK to run to the car to get the extra 40 from me as I was sitting outside minding the baby, the whole time the dentist Claire spoke very rudely and down to her, however the receptionist was nice, my daughter came back up paid the extra 40€to the receptionist, and the dentist told her she could not deal with what she needed done and gave her another number to call and only gave her a prescription for pain killers, so that was 90€ gone, said she would email the xrays and info on to the new other dentist she recommended, when my daughter rang the recommended dentist to make sure he got the xray and report, he hadn't, so my daughter had to call back college gate dental to see why and this very rude dentist told her she didn't send anything on because she left without paying!! The absolute cheek of her, my daughter told her I paid the receptionist which the receptionist could back up, not even a simple apology from the dentist just">well, she never told me" very unprofessional and totally has the wrong attitude and personality to be dealing with people in health care, needless to say my daughter won't be returning and neither will Any of our family, it costs nothing to be nice!

Fantastic experience: We bring my mother to the doctors at this clinic. I cant recommend Dr Aliya Rahim highly enough. She is so kind and helpful. Always looks after my mother so well. If I ever move back to the area I will be using this Clinic. Keep up the great work.

Negative experience: Really bad experience. Bad communication.I called in for a cleaning the dentist did a quick water floss and charged me the full 60. I was disgusted and quite angry with myself for not speaking up . My teeth still need a clean. I feel like I have been robbed.

Negative experience: Awful. Do not go to the dentist here. The nurse/assistant was told to take an xray before I even expressed what I had booked an appointment for and before the dentist even examined my teeth with her own eyes. She then told me I had no infection but prescribed me really strong antibiotics. In addition she said all my wisdom teeth had come out but guess what, only one has. She also said "great teeth no fillings" and I have a filling since I was in my teens. Stay away from this place. Tragic excuse of a dentist.
