John himself is an outstanding dentist. Skilled, calm, and genuinely kind, he takes the time to explain everything and makes sure you’re comfortable throughout. I trust him completely. You’re not just treated here, you’re looked after. I couldn’t recommend them more.

Fantastic experience: I am the most nervous patient ever but without a doubt rena and John never fail to help me I could be in tears going in but laughing going out. John goes out of his way to make you feel at ease even playing your favorite music, I honestly can’t fault the team in Sullivan dental they really are without a doubt brilliant at their work.

Fantastic experience: I went to Sullivan Dental in pain and met Valentina and her nurse Charlotte. They were brilliant as I am a very nervous patient. They were so kind. Had an extraction and would highly recommend them. The girls on reception were brilliant too fitting me in on the day I rang. I wouldn't go anywhere else in the future.

I had Surgery and extractions carried out never felt a thing and everything was 100% afterwards Highly recommended to everyone.

Negative experience: My partner was on a call to receptionist asking for a appointment for me because my tooth is in half They said they can't see me four 6 weeks They have my ex Ray and know I need my tooth out my partner asked the receptionist couldn't she have the dentist look at the ex Ray and send a letter to the dental hospital so I could be seen quickly The receptionist then started to be extremely rude out of know ware and said I know what I'm talking about I'm working here 25 years and hung up the phone This is disgusting Thankfully I always record my phonecalls with dentist's and doctors surgery

Fantastic experience: I stumbled into John Sullivan's practice in 2012 in need of urgent assistance. I have never needed to go anywhere else since. All my family attend John and his staff who are entirely professional and welcoming. We have recommended quite a few friends to go also when we happened to be asked about a good dentist in Carlow. Have no worries you're in good hands there.

Fantastic experience: I had terrible pain in my wisdom tooth that needed immediate attention and removing. I found John Sullivan and his lovely team online. I had a huge fear of the dentist due to a past experience but from the moment I set foot inside I was immediately put at ease. John and his team were so nice and i couldn’t get over the difference. I hardly felt a thing and all the information about aftercare really was so helpful and worked. I just remember beautiful classical music and not having to leave the room for the numbing to set in as there was a comfortable sofa to wait on and a lovely big window to look out at the view. I’ve definitely gotten over my fear of the dentist thanks to John and his whole team and I would strongly recommend them. Many thanks from a happy customer

Fantastic experience: The best dentist I have ever went to. Today was the first day I went to John for a check up, he was honest and showed me everything wrong with my teeth. I also got a cancellation that day for a clean so I did and I couldn’t be happier. I have a plan to make my teeth better and I came away from the dentist not stressed! Negative experience: I needed a filling and the dentist himself said he is unable to do fillings. I know the issue with my tooth. I've even sent in my own xrays. I know the shape of the filling required and yet... This dentist cannot do fillings. Avoid with your life

Negative experience: My significant other had a tooth extraction and is in excruciating pain!!! 1 WEEK after the procedure when he was told there would be none!!! Clinic more like a butcher.

Fantastic experience: I need to let people know who have a fear of the dentist and every aspect of it, I could not even make it to sit in the dentist's chair, which resulted in my teeth being left unattended for many years. until recently I had to succumb to horrendous wisdom tooth pain, I attended John's practice who has been my dentist for many years, and John informed me he was able to provide sedation and treat the matter. To make a long story short for those out there who have this horrible fear, don't suffer anymore, I did not feel ANYTHING ! and remember nothing. Look forward to going back to John and the girls to have more work done on my teeth, no more sleepless nights, Myra.

Fantastic experience: The best dentist in Ireland I have found. All care is painless with him, he always explains everything properly. He is very thorough and does an excellent job. I could not have found a better dentist than John and his medical staff. My husband is also very satisfied with it. And now my seven-year-old son also goes to him. I am a very nervous patient but John and his team made me feel at ease. I had a few extractions which needed stitches and John was so gentle that I didn't even know he had finished with my treatment. Fantastic experience: Sullivan dentists are excellent. I was experiencing extreme pain and discomfort from a wisdom tooth yesterday and they firstly, fit me in yesterday morning and then after seeing me John fit me in the same day at the end of his working day as to not leave me in prolonged pain. They then followed up to see how I was feeling this morning with a phone call after the extraction yesterday evening. I cannot recommend John, Gina and Aoife highly enough. The level of service and professionalism is second to none. While nobody likes to visit a dentist they certainly made this experience a lot easier and almost enjoyable. Fantastic experience: Like a lot of people, I dread going to the dentist. John and his team are so nice that you don't actually realise what is going on. I'm probably not their best patient but they do not make you feel silly if you are uncomfortable. Good honest advice too. I said one tooth was the problem but he could see it was a different tooth and he was right. I cannot recommend them highly enough.

Fantastic experience: Wish there was an option to give 6 stars.................. I'm a complete coward and because of that I've been neglecting my teeth for a very long time. I never thought I'd be grateful for the Covid lockdown but that was how I got my introduction to Sullivan Dental and what a find! Sensing my fear and the need to urgently address some much needed dental surgery John spoke to me about their sedation option. What was also very calming was that there was no judgment just absolute empathy and understanding of my fears. I can honestly say John Sullivan and his Super Team are professional, kind, gentle and made the process, from start to finish, stress and pain free in a perfectly safe environment. AND the great thing is......I got my smile back! Thank You

Fantastic experience: If, like me you have a fear of dentists then this is the dentist to go to now. Sullivan Dentists in Carlow. John and his team could not have been more professional or caring. I had to have an extraction recently under sedation on a very difficult tooth, and I was dreading it but it turned out that I never felt a thing..it was over before I knew it and the aftercare was really good too. I had a phone call each day for a few days just to make sure I was ok. Needless to say Sullivan Dentists will be my dentist for the future.

Fantastic experience: I had a bad experience visiting a school dentist at an early age,so a dental visit for me was always a nightmare.Early this year I urgently needed bridgework done and fillings.John and his team were recommended to me by a friend.On the first visit I was very nervous but I was made feel very welcome as soon as I arrived at reception.John is so kind and has patience like ive never seen before.I opted for sedation for some treatment and afterwards felt fine ,unlike after sedation I had before.Just a pity I hadn't heard of this dental surgery until this year. It would have saved me a lot of sleepless nights worrying.John and his team are professional, helpful and friendly. I highly recommend him to anyone ,especially if you are a nervous patient. Fantastic experience: I attended John's Dental Surgery on Tuesday 9th April 2019 for a white filing. All the girls there were lovely and welcoming. John greeted me with a friendly handshake and smile. And talked me through everything step by step, before starting. I was even given earphones which really helps to relax. I got lost listening to the music playing that the whole hour went so quickly. I commented afterwards that it was the best experience I have had when it came to having filings. I will be returning to see John and the Hygienist, that were recommended by the girls there. Thanks for making my experience such a good one.

Fantastic experience: I have an absolute fear of going to the dentist and last week I knew I would have to go as I was in agony with my back tooth. I found out that John did sedation in his clinic, so I eventually made the appointment and went. I was sedated and couldn't recommend this enough, I felt absolutely nothing. John was so nice and made me feel so at ease. I thought I slept through the whole thing, I was there for over two hours as I had three teeth removed and it felt like I was only there a few minutes!!! All of the staff down there especially Gina made me feel so comfortable and couldn't have done any more for me. To anyone out there that has a fear of dentists I would 100% recommend sedation, I'm so glad I went now and would go back no problem
