Negative experience: I got a filling done in The James Clinic in Ferbane. The dentist did not remove all the decay, so when I went to a dentist in Dublin, they noticed this, and I had to get the original filling removed and a new one put in. The decay had got a lot worse as a result. I contacted the clinic, but they didn't respond. They also tried to remove wisdom teeth for my brother without taking an x-ray, which left him in terrible pain for days due to the dentist trying to remove teeth that were connected to the jawline. I have never heard of a dentist trying to remove wisdom teeth without taking an x-ray as it can lead to big complications. Very unprofessional and inept.

Fantastic experience: I couldn't recommend the James Clinic highly enough. I had been exploring getting braces for a while and had two very off-putting experiences in other dental practices. However, as soon as I made contact with the James Clinic things couldn't have been more different. I was immediately made to feel valued as a customer and my orthodontic journey was first class from start to finish. I couldn't believe how quickly my braces came off - only 8 months after getting them on. The whole process was painless and far exceeded my expectations on what getting braces was going to be like. The staff are all lovely but I have to give a special to Fidelma at the front desk who is so pleasant and helpful, and, of course, the main man James Hiney who is gifted both in dealing with people and in his work, which is phenomenal. Absolutely top class. I would highly recommend the James Clinic to anyone who is looking for orthodontics or any other dental work.

Fantastic experience: I came here (Ferbane) for second opinion as the first dentist wanted to commit a massacre in my mouth. Boy I am happy I did! Here they didn't just saved my tooth without root canal with just a new filling, it appeared my teeth are actually pretty healthy against the other dentist's opinion. All I needed just a cleaning and one old filling replaced. The service is excellent from arriving to the reception to close the door when you leave. I won't go anywhere else from now on.

Fantastic experience: Had the lovely Annastasia for the first time as my own dentist couent forfil the appointment she made when I got there but I was in good hands Annastasia was so gentle caring she removed 3 teeth 1 was broken and fitted my new denture perfect zero pain and no pain killers needed either Thank you Annastasia

Fantastic experience: Visited this morning with my 7 year old daughter. Everyone was so lovely. Had been referred to Dublin to paediatric dentist who gave us a quote of €3050 for two extractions and a few fillings etc. I paid €30 today for Dr Merlin to examine and she thinks that there is no need for any extraction or filling just some fissure sealants!!!!! We highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: I couldn’t recommend Merlin (dentist) and Erin (dental nurse) enough. I’m deathly afraid of dentist from past dentists/dental work, and I knew I needed to bite the bullet and get some work done. Merlin talked me through each step, offered her opinions and best treatment options, and Erin made me feel relaxed and cared for throughout. I have always been self conscious about my appearance, and I truly cannot thank Merlin enough for fixing my smile, it has made a huge difference! I can without a doubt say my fear of dentist’s has gone away over night thanks to Merlin. The whole experience is second to none, from being greeted at the front door by Fidelma to the treating team. If you’re thinking of getting work done, do it!!

Fantastic experience: Fidelma receptionist and Melissa hygienist are fantastic. They are so welcoming and make the experience so enjoyable which means alot when you have small kids visiting the hygienist and dentist . Both the pediatric dentist and the nurse sorry can't remember their names are soooo good with my 2 kids, they put them at ease and were so gentle and caring. The dentist (she's getting married soon, best of luck and happiness). We are back again in a few months, Fidelma has us booked in for our future appointments, nothing is a problem to her, and she always sends a reminder with a usual friendly reminder call. Can't praise the team enough there. They are so so nice. Highly recommend the James clinic in Ferbane. Thanks a million ladies. See you all in the new year.

Fantastic experience: The girls were fantastic with my son, I mentioned to the receptionist my son has autism and suffers anxiety she went straight in to tell the girls, and they gave him time and didn't rush him when he became upset, so understanding and made me feel at ease how they treated my son, 100% recommend thank you!

From the kindest most helpful person i have ever met the receptionist Fidlema,the best hygienist with the best advice and help Melissa, to the main man himself James who really knows how to give you that perfect smile and keeps on top of all your adjustments,he is top class at his job and the lovely Farrah who was always there with the chats and the biggest smile...We had the pleasure of been to all Three clinic's, Ferbane,Mullingar and Enfield.. I can honestly say they staff in all three clinic's are so kind and helpful and are professionals at there job... We were always treated so well.. One thing I can say when attending the James Clinic they staff are so quick to attend to you and keep you at ease... Fantastic experience: I had the pleasure of visiting James Clinic Ferbane for over a year while undergoing orthodontic treatment with the incredible team of Fidelma and Sarah out front and Melissa the hygienist is one of the nicest you could meet. I cannot express enough how professional, empathic, and downright funny dentist James was throughout my journey. The team at James Clinic Ferbane made every visit an enjoyable experience, despite the fact that I was wearing braces for a year and two months. Fidelma and Sarah were always on hand to answer any questions I had, and their expert knowledge of orthodontics ensured that my treatment went as smoothly as possible. One particularly hilarious moment that sticks out in my mind happened when I walked into the clinic and saw Sarah, who had just come back from a holiday. I was so taken aback by her immaculate fake tan and stunning looks that I didn't even recognize her at first! I had to do a double-take and then exclaimed, "Wow, little brownie! Is that you?" We all had a good laugh about it, and it's moments like these that made going to the dentist a fun experience. Overall, I would highly recommend James Clinic Ferbane to anyone looking for a professional, friendly, and humorous dental team. James, Fidelma, and Sarah truly went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable and happy throughout my treatment, and I couldn't be more grateful for the fantastic care they provided. Fantastic experience: From a young age (now in my 40's) I had a dreaded fear of the dentist and resulting in me hesitating to go and resulting in the unnecessary removal of teeth. Since I started attending James Clinic all those fears and that hesitancy has disappeared. The staff could not be nicer from the receptionist to the dental staff. I highly recommend them. You only get one set of teeth so look after them.

Melissa the hygienist is one of the nicest you could meet , always listens to the clients if they have fears or are nervous . She makes the whole experience very relaxing and her way in dealing with each individual is so so professional . Always great advice too . Having dealt with James directly too , I can honestly say you will not find a better team . All of my kids attend this clinic too and not one of them have a fear of the dentist . Highly recommend.

Been a very nervous patient, Melissa put me at ease straight away by taking the time to explain what steps she was going to take when it came to my treatments which made my visits so easy to attend. Fantastic experience: Really happy to have dealt with James and his team at The James Clinic in Ferbane. Had braces on to close a large gap in my teeth and was very nervous going in after almost 20 years since visiting a dentist. The staff are very friendly and very good at what they do and were very supportive to me throughout the process. They take great pride in their work as well as each others work which was nice to see. From my experience of dealing with them, I highly recommend The James Clinic.

Negative experience: Got mouth retainers made top and bottom didn't fit, returned back again another day, got new ones made, again laughingly didn't come close to fitting top or bottom set again.Not only that the retainers were bent and badly made realy, obviously either never checked when designed, or staff didn't care what way the things were made, dreadful quality control, however a very nice receptionist organised full refund, but will not ever be returning again to clinic.

Fantastic experience: Mary Hynes review: I had to have a tooth extracted yesterday. Due to a previous experience of excessive bleeding after an extraction and ending up in hospital to have the socket cauterised I was a nervous wreck. The dentist, Dr. Seif, and Niamh were so professional explaining everything and putting me at ease. The receptionist Fidelma is a little ⭐ who is pleasant and friendly. Fantastic experience: I only recently joined James' Clinic, and I must say it was THE best choice I have ever made. For someone that is terrified of the dentist, this was an absolute dream! I was made feel so comfortable and relaxed with the main dentist straight off and the hygienist, Melissa, was just the most kind, and gentle hygienist I have EVER come across! My teeth and gums looked brand new after just one visit, the difference is unreal! I could not feel any pain through out each visit which is all I needed to make me come back! 10000% would recommend this clinic! ❤️

Fantastic experience: State of the art surgery, staff are extremely friendly and competent. Would highly recommend. I nearly fell asleep in the chair the hygienist was that gentle and I'm really impressed in the results with my teeth after my visit.

Fantastic experience: Do yourself and your teeth a favour and just go to this Dentist's. I was beyond petrified but Rory the Dentist was absolutely fantastic and the staff were lovely. Don't put it off. Just go and chat to them. Guaranteed you will be so glad you did!
