Fantastic experience: I got my braces with Dr.Robert and I would just like to say that it was the best decision I ever made! I was really insecure with my teeth growing up as I suffered with some over crowding. I went for my consultation with Robert and he explained everything so well. My transformation only took 9 months and I couldn’t be happier with my results. All of the team are so lovely and I couldn’t recommend Molloy dental enough! Thank you guys again

Negative experience: If I could give zero stars I would. I rang on Friday asking for the next nearest appointment and was told to come on Monday at 2.30pm, I was told I would be charged €80 for an xray on arrival and I agreed. I traveled a distance on public transportation heavily pregnant to be told on arrival that my appointment is next Monday the 17th, which was never said to me over the phone. The receptionist wasn’t one bit apologetic. Very unprofessional service

Negative experience: Unfortunately, my experience with Dr. Dervala was unsatisfactory. Despite three attempts, the filling fell out each time and did not match the tooth color. However, after switching to Smiles Dental, I encountered no further issues. Overall, a disappointing experience with Dr. Dervala, but Smiles Dental provided the solution I needed

Fantastic experience: Very professional practice.

Negative experience: Got an upper wisdom tooth removed by Conor a few years ago. The tooth broke and he left part of the tooth in my gum as he said my gum would heal over it an it would be fine. A few months later I got an infection and went to another dentist who said half my tooth was still under the gum and it was infected and that it was very dangerous to leave the tooth there as it could cause an abscess. She said as the gum had healed it would now be a surgical procedure and that I should go back to Conor and ask he finish the extraction free of charge, which he did. Went to the dentist today and got an x-ray and low and behold Conor left a root of the tooth in my gum the second time after he said he removed it last time. Again, this is very dangerous and I had to pay more money to get it removed completely. Wouldn't even bother going back to him a 3rd time to finish removing a tooth he had 2 previous attempts to remove, the 2nd time he told me removed all of it. Wouldn't let him near me or anyone else's mouth. Incompetent, reckless, call it what you will.

Fantastic experience: Just simply amazing. I had put off going to the dentist for over a year but eventually had to give in. Conor was so calming and reassuring, had my teeth cleaned and a filling replaced within 30 minutes and I didn't feel a thing. Thank you so much

Negative experience: If I could give zero I would. Told me I needed 4,000€ worth of work done. Got a second opinion and didn’t need anywhere near as much. Wouldn’t go back.

Fantastic experience: Having experienced severe tooth and gum pain over the last few days I went to Molloy Dental in absolute agony today, fearing the worst. Dr. Kelly Reis however put me at ease straight away and to say she is a genius at her craft would be an understatement! Half an hour was all it took to assess and rectify my problem, with future work planned in the coming weeks. I can’t recommend this practice enough. Kudos to Dr. Reis and all at Molloy Dental ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Negative experience: This review would be much higher, however I've been left with a bad taste in my mouth (pun intended ) after getting braces through Robert Molloy back in 2021. The two retainer bars that were put on my teeth after having my braces removed soon started to come loose, obviously this is annoying/uncomfortable/painful having a steel wire poking you in the mouth all day. I called to make an appointment to have them re-fixed to my teeth and was told there'd be a substantial 're-bonding fee' to have this done. I feel this is ridiculous as it was only a short while after having them put on that they came off, and these are supposed to be for life... I've since been to another dentist who fixed them FOR FREE! But one of them has come loose again. For something that easily knocked off you'd imagine there'd be a certain accommodation to fix this, but apparently there isn't... Poor end to an otherwise good experience.

Fantastic experience: As a new patient, at 47 years old never was in a dentist ( yes never) I went to Conor as he seemed the best through reviews on the internet, my god they were right he was brilliant, after 14 extractions I only felt one come out, he was class, and the brilliant team he has around him, can't fault their great personal calmness, I HAVE A NEW SMILE and I love it thank you, guys your brilliant (p.s. I'm not related either,) lol

Fantastic experience: I have been a client of Dr Robert Molloy since I was a child and I have had no issues with my teeth whatsoever. I have had NO DENTAL PROBLEMS in my life and Dr. Molloy has always been extremely friendly, helpful, and efficient. The practice is clean and up to date and the staff are helpful and friendly. I have recently been in with a hygienist and the service has not dropped in the slightest! If this practice is in your area, I couldn't recommend it more. In fact, they're so much better than your local that you should travel cross country to come here.

Fantastic experience: After a bad experience at another dentist, Dr. Conor Molloy was an absolute godsend. I had to get a wisdom tooth removed, and he was incredibly patient in explaining the entire procedure, and was so gentle that I barely felt anything the whole time in the chair. Fantastic experience: I have been a patient with Conor Molloy a few years now. Iv had a few horror stories with dentists before but wirh Conor he is the best dentist I have ever had. Only today I needed a tooth extraction it was done in minutes with no pain whatsoever.

Negative experience: Myself and family have all been with this dentist for over 10 years , I went for my last visit while I was pregnant during covid and needed an emergency filling . I stressed I needed to just get the filling as I couldn't afford anything else. As I was waited for the numbing injection to work Conor start cleaning my teeth as it was talking a long time , needed extra numbing injection . I got out to pay and I was extremely disgusted as the cleaning was on it. I felt like breaking my heart crying. I trusted him and would never go anywhere else and then i came to find out he had done the same to my uncle and my mam when she went after me so we are all not attending this clinic anymore. I'm devastated as I never thought this would happen there struggling at the thoughts of finding a new dentist Sorcha scannell

Fantastic experience: I recently just finished getting braces with Robert and I would just like to say that it was the most pleasant dental experience I’ve ever had. He explains everything so well and is very easy going and friendly. I genuinely looked forward to every visit! Fantastic experience: Great experience with Conor as first time patient, friendly and easy to chat to. Free on-site parking, efficient reception desk, and a nice waiting room. I was in and out in 40mins, which included X-ray, a new cap on a tooth, and a clean & polish.

Fantastic experience: I had a very pleasant trip to Molloy's when I accidentally chipped my front tooth! Conor greeted me so warmly and his demeanor was so welcoming. He informed me very well in relation to my other teeth. And worked his magic on my front tooth. The chip is now non existent and I would highly recommend anyone needing dental work done, to definitely go to either Robert or Conor Molloy! Lovely staff all round on my visit also!

Fantastic experience: I do not have Hollywood teeth and have lived in many countries and so have had fillings and root canals performed by dentists in the US, UK and Ireland After years of painful research I'm delighted to have discovered Molloy dental and would never consider anywhere else I have had several fillings and a root canal performed at the Santry practice. They have all been performed quickly and with minimum pain. Advice has always been delivered empathetically and with good humour, which is important when you are as self conscious about your teeth as I am I strongly recommend Molloy Dental

Fantastic experience: Absolutely brilliant and kind staff all in all. Dr. Conor Molloy is an extremely attentive, caring, and considerate Dentist who is phenomenal at his job. Great attention to detail, and fully committed to each procedure conducted, no matter how extensive or routine. He has a way of putting his patients at ease, and making them feel completely relaxed; making a usually dreaded experience (i.e. visiting the dentist *cue ominous music*) actually quite pleasant. Had a tooth extraction as well as other touch-ups, and from the first shot to the end, it was a quick and relatively painless appointment. Strongly recommended if you're thinking of tending to your choppers.

Fantastic experience: Highly recommended! Went to other dentist in South Dublin for a root canal treatment, but the tooth cracked and they suggest extraction and implantation immediately; however, Robert saved it!!! He simply did a filling (and I don't mind changing fillings every couple of years as long as I still have the molar!). Robert really put himself into patients' shoes and put you at ease. Clinic was very clean, staff are nice and professional. Absolutely staying with them and will recommend to friends and family.

Fantastic experience: Highly recommend. I was never a fan of visiting the dentist. Tried Molloys a couple of years ago and very happy to visit every 6 months for a check up. Robert explains everything. Have my kids visiting as he puts them at ease.

Fantastic experience: I am 41 year old female who had quite a lot of dental work done over the years, in various dental practices in different countries. A friend of mine recommended Dr. Brian Costello. I had to have my wisdom tooth removed and 2 fillings (not the usual ones one would have, but on the side of teeth, right near the gum). Having had a lot of dental work done, I can now quite easily tell when a dentist has ‘a good hand’. The minute Dr. Costello administered the anaesthetic (on both right and left as I was having the fillings and the extraction in the one appointment), I knew I could relax, I was in very safe hands. I can sincerely say that it was the most ‘gentle’ administered anaesthetic I have ever had (and had a dozen of them over the years). The extraction was to the same high standard: with few gentle but exact moves, my wisdom tooth (with a long root) was out. Also, while performing both procedures, he explained everything along the way. I would HIGHLY recommend Dr. Costello and the Molloy practice!

Fantastic experience: My 8 year old had a bad scooter accident which resulted in two chipped front teeth. She hadn't been to the dentist before, so she was terrified. We went to see Robert to see what he could do with what was left of her teeth. He was simply brilliant- his professionalism and skill were amazing to watch, but it was the way he reassured my daughter, told her *exactly* what he was going to do at each stage of the procedure, and reassured her throughout that made it an excellent experience for her. She couldn't be happier, I couldn't be more relieved. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

Fantastic experience: This was my first time visiting Molloy Dental- my dentist Robert was excellent - I phoned yesterday as my filling had fallen out and got an appointment the next day at 8am. Would highly recommend this dentist. I was very nervous as I really don't like going to the dentist but Robert really put me at ease and explained everything to me and I was back in my car at 8.30am with a new filling! Excellent job!
