Fantastic experience: After many bad experiences and left with anxiety and fear off going to a dentist … I fell upon dental care pearse road , I was quite anxious and nervous going in and the dentist noticed straight away and instantly put my mind at ease , for the first time I walked away from a dentist not scared to go back knowing the amount off work I need done . They listened to my fears they put me at ease & they made me feel so comfortable that I immediately went down and booked in for my next appointment (which I have never done before as nobody ever gave me a reason not be to scared off a dentist) I can highly recommend pearse road dentist to anyone and especially people like myself who have a fear off dentist

Fantastic experience: Dental care Ireland Sligo have looked after me like no other dental practice has. They offer excellent service with a warm welcome every time. Everything that needs to be done is explained beforehand, and if needed an estimated cost, so you get no nasty surprises. Never have I tried to be sold unnecessary dental work or unnecessary visits. I keep returning because I trust them and have never had a bad experience with them like I have with some other local dentist’s. I would highly recommend Dental Care Ireland Sligo for your next dental checkup.

Fantastic experience: Had an appointment with Sue Johnson, Hygienist yesterday. She is excellent, very knowledgeable and very caring. Gave me good advice about taking care of my teeth. Both receptionists very friendly and helpful. Always a good experience visiting this practice, I've been a patient here for over 20 years.

Negative experience: Just an announcement for the public who visits the dental care for their check up and concerns of their dental care. I won't write that post to intimidate or underestimate the care which you provide to the public. The scope of this post is clearly for the public to understand that their concerns has to be considered seriously and identify any sources of their problems. Last year 2023 I had an urgent appointment for pain and feeling concerned of my dental implants. I was booked for an urgent appointment and was happy for the quick arrangements. I requested specifically on the phone it has to be a dentist with knowledge on the implants. I was checked and radiography was ordered to check implants and specifically mentioned that I have pain on my frontal implants. I was recommended hygiene appointment and was left go home after everything was said it was OKEY . If there would be any concerns to go back for examination or to follow up on my routine check up . Was prescribed some kin gel and advised to maintain regularly hygiene regimes . I had the appointment with the hygienist and everything was OKEY. Maintained hygiene techniques as it was needed by the book. Since then the pain was intermittently and same level of frequency but it passed after a while. I received by the end of the year 2024 an email with the routine dental checkup. Without having any issues at that time I said I will book it after new year and continue my check up as it was recommended , didn't have any problems. After new year 2025 it appeared again similar pain to my dental implants had some serious bleeding with fluids. I booked an urgent appointment , which was booked immediately and I would like to thank you for that and requested to see me someone with dental implants knowledge. Went for the appointment was checked by a different dentist from 2023 and appeared to be a peri implantitis which requires urgent surgical treatment. Now , I have to say that if in 2023 was looked properly by now there wouldn't be so much damage and could have been treated differently because in one year it was done a lot of damage to the bone and tissues. I tried to prevent it but it wasn't looked deeply into my source of pain in 2023 to detect at early stage. I don't blame anyone for that as it can happen but definitely I lost somehow the trust . I highly recommend anyone to search it more when their health problems are not solved , not heard on time by their dentist. It's not necessarily to have last stage of symptoms in order to be diagnosed like myself. Thank you for reading my complaint.

Fantastic experience: Brian Byrne is the most kindest caring dentist i have ever come across. He puts me at ease as soon as I enter his surgery. He will explain everything to you and gives great advice. He will try save your teeth rather than pull them . I would recommend him . Also Vera deacy the hygienist is out on her own. I have been with her for years . She is so kind friendly and very precise and extremely excellent at her job.

Positive experience: It was a good practice up until recently but as a long standing customer I was extremely disappointed to be told I couldn’t get a hygienist appointment until January. I had gotten a text to inform me that I was due a visit and rang immediately but for the life of me I can’t understand how if there’s that much of a backlog they aren’t calling or texting customers further in advance to ensure that they get an appointment nearer to when they are due one. I moved to another practice and have an appointment for next week.

Fantastic experience: Best experience ever with a dentist moving from abroad (new patient). Had small surgery and pull out. No pain at all!! Haven't felt the needle at all!! Sarah (doctor) is excellent, no words, as well as Claire and the lady at reception. So happy I found this place. Highly recommended.
