Fantastic experience: What a wonderful experience in The James Clinic. The front desk staff were very promt & friendly. Dr Sarah & Omoye put me at ease the minute I went into the room. V thorough examination & everything was explained to me prior to procedure. The follow up plan for my dental care was also explained & the after care from my procedure was explained in detail.

Fantastic experience: I’ve had few appointments with the James Clinic in Mullingar. I have to say everyone was very professional and extremely nice. At my first visit I had my plan made and scheduled thanks to receptionist/dental nurse Paula Ann Flynn which was incredibly helpful and listened carefully to all my concerns. Dr. Joanne Mohammed was looking after me at all my visits at the clinic and her professionalism and expertise made those visits stressless. Thank you James Clinic. Fantastic experience: I got composite bonding done in the James clinic Mullingar a few months ago, and still to this day I am so obsessed with them !! Dan & Caroline done an excellent job, and very friendly . This was something I always wanted to get done, Dan was very professional and made me feel at ease. Can’t thank you enough for working your magic. Definitely recommend.

Negative experience: Absolutely horrendous experience! Brought one of my children here, to Dr. James Hiney, for orthodontal treatment some years ago, trusted him completely and followed all instructions to the last. Was delighted with results - fabulously aligned teeth. However, after treatment, my child started complaining about dental pain. Turns out our new dentist confirmed there were some very serious cavities in the teeth. This was a shock as I was told these would have taken some time to develop to the stage they were now at. Dentist seemed perplexed as in his opinion/experience, x-rays would have been taken before the placement of braces to ensure no cavities were present as, I've been told, braces can speed up the development of cavities that are already present. Upon checking my child's treatment record, my memory proved correct...no x rays were performed prior to braces being fitted to exclude the presence of cavities, and no referral to dentist was made during course of treatment...only suggestions to attend hygienist for cleaning. I cannot say for sure if my child had cavities starting when braces were fitted, but my new dentist tells me that is possible/probable. Dr. Hiney's response? My child's diet and lack of brushing (paraphrased) . We have always been fastidious about dental hygiene and a non-processed diet in our home. I am a stay at home mother, who mostly cooks from scratch. So, we ended up with beautiful looking teeth that needed major repair work...and a child that was left devastated and facing months of painful dental work. These teeth will always be compromised. Just my experience, feelings and opinion. PS the only reason I award 1 star is that I could not post without doing so.

Fantastic experience: I'm not a great patient but was advised by a friend to see Dr. Dan Szkodlarski in The James Clinic in Mullingar. He was excellent, made me feel at ease and the procedure was quick and pain free. I will only see Dr. Dan for any future dental procedures. All the the staff were very friendly and would highly recommend.

Negative experience: Got filling done in James Clinic and they done it wrong which left me in pain and damaged tooth. But what disgusted me the most was their negligence towards the situation. Especially the manager she completely ignore the situation. Everytime I would ring or email supposedly she was always too busy. All I was asking for was a refund. The one star is only for reception girls who are great at what they do but sadly have to do the managers job too

Negative experience: I had a terrible experience with this clinic. I was given bad advice to replace a perfectly good metal filling and the dentist who replaced it botched the filling by placing it too close to the nerve. It then started causing me a lot of pain when chewing. I tried to make a complaint to the clinic manager and they completely ignored my calls and emails. I had to refer the matter to the Dental Complaints Resolution service as the clinic refused to engage. I would not recommend this clinic to anyone as they have inexperienced dentists who provide negligent advice and treatment and their management refuses to deal with complaints from patients. It was bad enough that their dentist botched my treatment but refusing to even investigate my complaint really added insult to injury.

Fantastic experience: I needed an extraction at last minute and would have had to wait a few days for an app. However Fallon a fantastic girl working on reception recognized I was in pain and managed to get me an earlier app, but not only that , she rang me the same day and gave me a cancellation app. Fallon is a true star and a very valuable asset to this business. The dentist and assistant were also very professional and reassuring. Overall a very pleasant experience . Thank you .

Fantastic experience: I went as an emergency patient, and dentist Dan fitted me a Bridge.. he was so lovely, both him and his nurse, very calming, reassuring, gentle, professional, understanding of my current situation and really helped me out. I was amazed at how quick I was fitted my bridge in less than two hours I was with a full smile again. I will definitely be going back as a patient now to this clinic, amazing staff and affordable prices. Dan showed me the computer and how it designed my bridge. Thank you so much Dan and your nurse! The difference you have made for my smile is really unexplainable. Theee best!

Fantastic experience: I would highly recommend the James clinic. James and the staff are so accommodating, friendly and helpful. I always felt welcomed every time I visited. Before visiting the James clinic I hated going to the dentist but James and the staff made me feel so at ease and relaxed that it made it an enjoyable experience. I am over the moon with how my teeth turned out. I was told by a lot of dentists that braces wouldn't fix my teeth that I would need my jaw broke to fix the gap between my top and bottom teeth. James was confident he could get my smile perfect with braces and that he did. Thank you so much James and all the staff at the James clinic.

Fantastic experience: My experience in the James clinic has only been a positive one. I am a very nervous patient as past experiences with other dentists have been traumatising! But my dentist Dr Seif is the best in the business. He has been so professional and kind while performing the procedures! Also the nurses are brilliant and sum up how a nurse should be kind, caring and reassuring. I'd give more stars if I could! Thank you

Fantastic experience: Can't say anything bad that I have received from this clinic friendly staff and the dentist I got Dan is an absolute gentleman. Him and his nurse make you so at ease that I don't dread going to see a dentist anymore.

Negative experience: Imagine having a consultation in May for a procedure knowing that it was slightly more complex than normal but being told not to worry that it could all be taken care of. Being told I'd be updated in 2 weeks, then sorry no we're so busy because of the type of clientèle we're getting now so it will be August before we get back to you. August passes, September, so I decide to chase it up. Oh sorry yes I'll get back to you in 3 days. Over 1 week passes so I call again. Yes I'll be back within the hour, 3 hours later getting a call to say Oh sorry but James doesn't want to take on your case. Why did it take 5 months to tell me this? It's not just physically damaging but also psychologically. I had another consultation with a different dentist back in June and kept hanging on waiting for The James Clinic to get back to me because I had hoped to keep all my dental care needs in the one place. I rang that dentist as soon as I was dropped like a hot snot from the James and was told no problem I can get taken care of almost immediately. Wake up, stop worrying about your social media appearance, get back to treating the patients who actually need the help.

Fantastic experience: I dont have a personal gmail account but i had to leave a review. I dread going to the dentist ,i suffer with keeping my mouth open caused by and old jaw injury and it can be very painful to stay open for long periods. I visited the james clinic today in mullingar with a damaged tooth that needed a filling and was put at ease for the moment i stepped in the door but the hygienist and dentist where excellent and could tell if i needed a break unlike other dentists i would leave in more pain than i went in. I cant remember the ladies names but thank you. I would highly recommend the James Clinic.

Fantastic experience: Great dentist clinic, lovely reception staff.

Negative experience: I had a terrible experience here only on Saturday. I had checked in and was left sitting in the waiting room for half an hour there was no one else around as it was a Saturday afternoon even the receptionist had disappeared. I decided after waiting this long and with nothing going on to leave. No one from the dentist surgery rang to see was everything OK was I still in the building. I could of been locked in the bathroom for all they knew.

Fantastic experience: My daughter had painfull dentle issues while we were in centreparcs in longford. We rang and were instructed to go straight to the practice to get sorted. Brilliant friendly service.

I am very nervous of the dentist & haven't gone in a good few years but couldn't be happier after discovering The James Clinic. I had Dr Dan, he is an absolute gent & put me at ease by explaining each step of the procedure as did the hygienist Gillian. I would recommend The James Clinic to anyone. My children are looking forward to their visit on Saturday.

Fantastic experience: I recently got my braces off, I could not be happier with the results, I was promised a perfect smile and I definitely got it. James was brilliant from the start he made me feel so comfortable every visit. The staff are all very friendly, Farrah Dunne in particular. Fantastic experience: I couldn't recommend this place enough for anyone who has any fear of the dentist!! I got my tooth filled last week by an excellent dentist called Rayan. To be honest I hated the thoughts of going because I hate needles and how numb my mouth can be after a filling. However I didn't even feel the needle or a thing ... the amazing thing was my mouth was only a tiny bit numb. I could eat my dinner once I returned home from the dentist... something I could have never done before!! My fear of the dentist is completely gone now because of the fantastic work of Rayan and his team. Thanks again to all in this clinic... what a super friendly team. I will be definitely returning again for future dental care

Fantastic experience: Couldn't recommend Daniel and his dental nurse Gosia enough. Besides doing a brilliant job on my teeth the last few months. I was petrified of dentists at the start but they made me feel at ease and I now walk in and out with a smile on my face.

Negative experience: I attended James clinic in Mullingar last year for a peridontal review, I looked for my records recently only to find out no record of my periodontal status was recorded. Now my new peridontist (as I moved from the area) can't access what changes (if any) have happened over the last year. Not very happy. Please take proper records for your clients, it also took numerous contacts and days to get one printed page and a copy of a x-ray sent to me and no one has come back to me on two email complaints I've sent.

Fantastic experience: Hajir is the most amazing dentist. She is extremely professional and her care and treatment is superb. I first visited Hajir in November. She identified a concern and referred me to the Dental Hospital. When I was finally called to the Hospital last week, no further treatment necessary, as Hajir had anticipated the treatment necessary and had proceeded accordingly. She also regularly monitored my progress as I waited to be called. I feel so privileged to have been under Hajir's care. The Dental profession is very fortunate to be able to count such a wonderful dentist among its members. Thank you Hajir.

Fantastic experience: Absolutely brilliant service. It's the only dentist that I actually enjoy going to. You are relaxed from the moment you enter the reception area. Friendly staff and a nice waiting area. Then into James himself and where can you go wrong. As for Sarah. It's a pure laugh once you enter and sit on the chair. Could not recommend it more highly. My children got braces there and he did a fantastic job and is still doing it. Have to say that the staff are just brilliant. Continued success to James and the team. Looking forward to my next visit.
