Dental Clinic Dublin Luxdent

Negative experience: Before this tooth extraction, I had a consultation with another dentist and he said I had a simple tooth to extract. I wanted to extract the tooth according to my medical record. The Polish assistant looked at me and called to come, she was nice and smiling. When I went down to the dental office, which is in the basement, the dentist Karl Jang/Gyeong of Asian appearance began to extract the tooth, injected anesthesia around the tooth 4-5 times. This is a strange anesthesia technique. I have been given anesthesia for tooth extractions many times and this has never happened before. When he began to extract the tooth, he first began to saw the tooth with a drill and when he extracted the tooth he pressed with very great force and I felt the pressure even through the anesthesia. For some reason, he removed the tooth in pieces. Then he put in stitches, although this was not a complicated case. The tooth was old and dark, had been under a crown for many years. My stitches lasted only 2 days, although the dentist said: "Wear the stitches for 7-14 days. Then come and remove them." After 2 days, my stitches started to hang loose in my mouth and a thread started to hang down and get in the way in my mouth. I cut it myself with scissors because the thread was in the way. In the end, I thought that I had a thread left in my mouth and I thought that tooth fragments were left after the extraction. But it turned out that it was bone sticking out of the gum. He removed the tooth so traumatically that now the jaw bone is sticking out. I came to him a second time, although I live very far from Dublin and the trip was expensive. He started making excuses on the audio translator that there were no stitches and it was the bone sticking out. It should heal in 3 months. I have had teeth extracted many times, but there have never been such tooth extractions where the bone was sticking out after the tooth extraction. Then I called my daughter so that she could talk to the dentist in English. The dentist was very boring, he repeated the same thing many times and I got the impression that he was making excuses. Then he started making excuses to my daughter. That the bone should heal, you just have to wait a little, the gum has already healed. Although the gum is very swollen and hurts. He also expressed dissatisfaction, he removed my tooth for free, and I am still dissatisfied with something. I understood why he put a stitch on my gum after the tooth was removed, to hide the protruding jaw bone. He also told me to go to Ukraine, get your teeth removed there and they will speak your language there. And my daughter told the dentist: We cannot go to Ukraine. And the dentist replied: There are registered Ukrainian dentists in Ireland. I asked my daughter if he could send me an X-ray of my teeth. And the dentist answered my daughter: "No, I can't send her an x-ray. Firstly, it's a big x-ray, not the right format to send by e-mail. She also never paid for anything. Patients usually pay me 70 euros for an x-ray. The dentist also told my daughter several times that he is a good dentist and the extraction was successful. The dentist told my daughter more than once: They extracted my tooth for free, but I don't respect them. My daughter started saying that he was wrong, and the dentist started arguing with her. He also pretended that it was normal for the bone to stick out of the gum and the gum to be healthy. Like, it seems to me that my gum is bothering me and is swollen. I have had teeth extracted more than once, but I have never had such a terrible extraction.

Negative experience: I visited Dr. Inesa on May 15th with a clear case of periodontitis, which requires endodontic treatment. During the appointment, I felt passive aggression from the doctor, especially when I asked questions or asked her to clarify things I didn’t understand. Instead of providing a treatment plan, the doctor simply advised me to drink more water and take vitamins. I left the appointment very disappointed, knowing that my condition will not resolve on its own and actually requires proper medical intervention. I paid €60 and received no concrete plan or clear guidance on what needs to be done next. Additionally, the entire clinic was filled with a strong smell of food, which made it feel more like someone’s kitchen than a medical facility. I definitely do not recommend this clinic.

Positive experience: I attended this dentist to have a wisdom tooth removed, I was shocked that after 2mins maxs in the dentist chair they charged me 500euro. There was no complications with removel it was straight forward. On the website is say between 150 and 600 (I wounder has anyone ever been charged 150)no wounder ppl have bad teeth they can't afford dentist cost. Also they do not accept PRSI

Having recently undergone some root canal and implants procedures I can say that Dr Maria is truly one of the best dentists in town (probably even the country!), her calm demeanor made me feel completely at ease during the entire process. Negative experience: I would not recommend the clinic. Dr Inesa Breidaka is incompetent dentist. She put one filing for two nearby teeth leaving no gap. Food gets stuck and causes pain. Dr Breidaka refused to recognise It is very important to correctly restore the contact relationships between adjacent teeth. Otherwise: ❌ food will constantly get stuck between the teeth ❌ it will not be possible to adequately clean the tooth from plaque ❌ the gums in the tooth area will constantly become inflamed The clinic refused to accept it and to investigate the matter and to examine her treatment. The new ex-ray was taken and another dentist confirmed that the job was done incorrectly. Completely negligence and waste of money! Would not recommend this clinic as they don’t take responsibility for the dentists errors!

Negative experience: I do not recommend this dental clinic Luxdent. One disappointment after yesterday's visit to Dr. Inessa Breidaka. I don’t know what she is like in dental treatment, but about the consultation, she is none. She didn't answer all my questions. She said something that was not true. Dr. Inessa said that I have a deep bite, although other dentists have told me before that I have a normal bite. Nothing can be said against her, she speaks unpleasantly when they do not agree with her. Although I came to the consultation why I could not ask what interests me. She made my mother come to me, although I don’t understand why I can’t have a consultation about my teeth without my mother. I am 20 years old. I had my teeth treated when I was 18 years old without my mother. We don't live in Dublin, which is why she came with me. Why couldn't she sit in the waiting room? Dr. Inesa Breidaka did not listen to me carefully, she did not explain anything to me. If I had known that I would get to such a specialist, I would never have gone to the Luxdent dental clinic. Why did the clinic receptionist ask my age, but I wrote in the form for the patient on the tablet. It's just a pity I threw out 50 euros from them. She began to tell me to fill other teeth, although I treated other teeth. I don't understand why I gave them 50 euros. If I had known what would happen, I would have gone to this clinic for free with a medical card. Unfortunately, I didn't know ahead of time.

Positive experience: Bardzo profesjonalna obsługa gorąco polecam szczególnie dr Małgorzata Dobrylko

Negative experience: Bunch of incompetents. First time, the dentist (blonde woman wearing glasses) drilled into my upper tooth because "it was too much" and left me with pain in the lower right tooth (which was the one with issues that needed to be worked on). The second time, I went for a check-up and she simply rushed me in resting my head on the chair without taking the time to patiently answer my questions/concerns; when I told her that I feel my upper left tooth decayed she gaslit me, telling me "it's only on the inside, outside is only visible around the tooth" despite the fact that I pointed to her (correctly) which tooth is decayed when she brought it to my attention. The third time (today), I was scheduled at 09:30 just to wait almost 15 minutes for them to finish their chit chat and call me in to start working on my upper left tooth. When called in, the narcissistic dentist told me I don't smile and asked me if I've a problem (with them). Not everyone smiles. Also, when it came to the anesthetic, she didn't even ask me if I'm allergic (didn't need an injection before in the previous appointments and I'm not allergic, though this is standard procedure so clearly they don't respect it). Do yourself a favor and find a place where they'll do justice to your dental health. Never again to this abusive place. I learned on my own skin what Polish quality means.

Positive experience: I just had my wisdom tooth extracted last week. I didn't feel any pain. It's really good. But actually I had planned to extract two teeth before I did this . The dentist told me I just need to extract one currently. And seemed like she was very busy and didn't want to talk me too much. So I just had one wisdom tooth extracted. All process was just 5 mins. And I paid 300 Euro for this . This experience for me was neither good nor bad. I wrote this just for reference. And maybe receptionists can be more friendly.

Negative experience: Dzisiaj usuwałem 6tke, chirurgicznie. Rozumiem moje zrosty, rozumiem, że może boleć, natomiast byłem zaskoczony zachowaniem lekarza. Zarówno pierwsza wizyta była bardzo profesjonalna u Pani Dr. Kasi,dzisiaj Pani na recepcji bardzo empatyczna, życzliwa, natomiast u lekarza czułem się jak intruz, który na dodatek kłamie, że boli go mimo znieczulenia. Zabieg był bardzo bolesny jak na chirurgiczny i bardziej przypominał zwykle rwanie zęba. Po rwaniu i większe dawce znieczulenia usłyszałem, że mam już sobie iść bez nawet możliwości chwili złapania oddechu. I najlepszy tekst Pani doktor ale ja wiem, że Pana nie boli mimo, że bolało. Naprawdę byłem zaskoczony tym jak lekarz traktuje pacjenta przedmiotowo.

Positive experience: Szczerze oczekiwałam troszkę lepsza opiekę, potrzebowałam usunąć ósemkę recepcjonistki były przemiłe i pomocne, miałam zrobione znieczulenie i szczerze poczułam każdy ruch jak był mi ząb wyrywany ze nie mogłam sie powstrzymać krzyku, znieczulenie powinno być sprawdzone czy sie nic nie czuje a wtedy dać więcej, ogólnie tez nie rozumiem dlaczego nie były dane rozpuszczalne szwy. Dr tylko sie skupiła na tym żeby następnego pacjenta przyjąć i wsumie spławiła mnie jak najszybciej sie dało.

Negative experience: I do not recommend it. I lost 40 euros for a consultation of less than 10 minutes with the orthodontist. Just looking at my teeth without even an x-ray, he told me that I couldn't put the braces on, because I had to have an operation on the jaw bone first. No dentist had told me this before. Worried, I had another consultation with another dentist, which lasted an hour, with x-rays and everything where my jaw is perfect. Disappointed. I was told about a very good orthodontist.

Fantastic experience: First of all, great service. The receptionists are kind and helpful, got me an appointment as quick as they could for an infected wisdom tooth. The visit itself was no longer than 10 minutes. Literally went in, got the tooth extracted - painlessly and within minutes - and that was it. Dr Stenka is the best dental surgeon I've ever met, the prices are totally worth the service.

Do tego tak szybko, że bylam w szoku bo myslalam, że Pani Maria dopiero zaczeła. A tu wlasciwie ząb (a raczaj 2/3 z korony ktora mi zostala i wielka dziura z próchnica) w całości wyrwany na dwa razy, łącznie samo rwanie nawet i 3 minut nie trwalo Pani Maria dodatkowo to bardzo przemiła osoba, a to czasami rzadko sie spotyka u lekarzy, zazwyczaj trafialam na dentystow ktorzy sa opryskliwi i pacjent czuje, ze nie jest ani mile widziany i ma wrazenie ze przeszkadza co dodatkowo stresuje. Pani Maria za to przyjela mnie z usmiechem na twarzy, dopytala o zęba i czy nie chcialam go ratować, rozmowa bardzo przyjemna. Generalnie przez 34 lata mialam stycznosc lacznie z 13 roznymi dentystami. Pani jest druga osobą ktorej uslugi z najczystszym sumieniem moge polecic. Warto bylo przejechac setki km dla tej kobiety. Szczerze polecam osobom ktore maja ataki paniki, boja sie dentystow i procedur dentystycznych.

Negative experience: Tried to call them and book an appointment for 3 days now on different hours and they still wouldn't pick the phone. Today after i was being put on hold after 3 min my call was rejected. Mostly this is a good practice but it could be a great one, the wait time is completely unacceptable and the phones are never answered.Very frustrating, will need to find other dental clinic. Pity.

Fantastic experience: I went twice to Luxdent and both times I was delighted with results. Staff at the reception is always very nice and helpful. Dr. Stenka done great job with changing fillings in my front teeth. I definitely recommend.

Negative experience: God awful experience. They screwed up every single procedure I had. They forced me into having two surgeries that I did not want, permanently damaged my nerve and screwed up my top retainer three times! Not the mention how flimsy the fixed retainer is. My bottom teeth shifted within the first month. I was only supposed to have braces for two years but all of their screw ups and coaxing into making me consent to more surgeries delayed it to nearly four years! Worst of all, getting in contact is near impossible! I haven’t ever seen such an unprofessional clinic. My orthodontist is almost never there when I need him. Don’t go here!
