Fantastic experience: I recently visited Pembroke Dental in Carlow for a routine teeth cleaning and had the pleasure of being treated by Dr. Harpreet Kaur. From the moment I arrived, I was met with professionalism and respect. Dr. Kaur was not only pleasant and approachable but also incredibly informative. She took the time to explain each step of the procedure, which made the experience both educational and reassuring. Her passion for dentistry is evident, and it truly transformed what could have been a daunting visit into an enjoyable one. I'm grateful for her dedication and would highly recommend her to anyone seeking top-notch dental care.

Fantastic experience: My daughter had her orthodontic treatment in Pembrook and we were very happy with the service. The staff and orthodontist Dr Luca are lovely and friendly, and very professional. There was never any waiting times and my daughter always felt very comfortable. Her teeth turned out perfect, she’s delighted with them.

Fantastic experience: I visited today and had an appointment with Dr Lina Shams. What a totally positive experience I can't thank Dr Shams and her dental nurse enough. Will be returning to have work done on teeth and gums. Very professional, informative and caring dental clinic. After a really bad experience in Dublin it's good to know there are still very good dentists out there. Worth the two hr journey to Carlow.

Fantastic experience: I needed to have some perio dontal work done in order to have a hip replacement. I am one of many terrified of the dentist chair! My treatment was anything but terrifying with the wonderful dentist I had Dr. Andreea Luhasz. From the moment I met with her, she completely put me at ease, and together with the lovely dental nurse Olivia, I felt that I could overcome the work that needed to be done. The whole process through, both Dr. Andreea and Olivia were talking to me, asking if I was in any pain, telling me I was doing great, and I could honestly feel myself settling in the chair. I had another visit the following week, and went in with no hesitation at all. Thanks Dr. Andreea for restoring my faith in going to the dentist.

Negative experience: I went there for toothache and the doctor asked to extract the tooth after x-ray. I asked if it could be saved with a root canal and the answer was no. So I left and was charged 50 euros. I went to another dental clinic and the doctor said it could be saved with a root canal. My husband had a similar experience with this one. Therefore, we will not go back to this one and would not recommend it.

Fantastic experience: Dr. King is phenomenal. Got two permanent crowns across multiple visits and despite the complexity as I had little teeth left following a break, Dr. King rebuilt them expertly constantly putting me at ease and allowing the whole process be seemless.

Fantastic experience: I've just had my braces removed after two years of having them. I am thrilled with the results and Dr Luca is a superb orthodontist. He explained everything so well and I got the results he explained I would. All the staff in Pembroke dental are fantastic and I wouldn't go anywhere else. It's always a pleasure visiting for any work.

Pembroke Dental was recommended to me by friends and since my first visit to now I have had no complaints very professional...thorough with explaining everything at different stages...I definitely recommend Dr. Lee and Dr. Carlos in Pembroke Dental to anyone and also to nervous persons as well. (Started with female dentist and swtiched over to the two dentists mentioned above and never looked back) ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Negative experience: I'll be looking for another dentist, Wouldn't let me book online because there are two contacts for me. Rang to make an appointment and two appointments were made... Had my appointment and was sent for another specialist appointment the same day as the dentist clearly wasn't capable, went to the specialist who told me there are no issues, total cash grab... Not to mention the chaos happening on reception when arriving and trying to pay . After having many procedures and spending thousands here I feel completely let down by my recent visit to the Carlow branches.

Fantastic experience: Really lovely and informative apt with Dr Andreea and Olivia. Very helpful information about my gum health and a few lifestyle changes - well worth a visit if your gums or sore or bleeding (as were mine)

Fantastic experience: I am absolutely petrified of dentists and I had to have two wisdom teeth extracted today. I was seen by Dr Slavi and his nurse, who were the perfect combo of good cop bad cop in the nicest way imaginable. I was shaking like a leaf, and Dr Slavi was brilliant at managing my nerves in a firm but kind way, and the nurse was so lovely (I wish I had her name to thank her properly). Extractions like this can't be easy, and add someone who is living their worst nightmare to the mix I'm amazed at how kind, professional, and quick the whole thing was. Mary at reception was also brilliant. You have a great team and I can't thank you enough for how you handled my experience. I would recommend you to anyone without hesitation.

Negative experience: I will never never go back there again‼️ Had to do an denture, was with a doctor who never explain how it looks, she never asked me a question ect. In the end i got it and it was problematic from beginning, but doctor wouldnt listen, making me feel like stupid from very first moment. I still beleived she could fix things for me after I prooved dentured is wrong. Only thing she did was to make denture worst. Now I dont smile, avoid People and friends and I dont see any hope from them. As long as costumer service at the recetion is fantastic, specialists are bad and I know good few more People who had similar expierience from doctor who should be hygienist, but working there as dentist.

Negative experience: Avoid this dentist clinic at all cost . Unprofessional front desk staff , unwilling to look up emergency appointments for patient with severe dental pains to get extraction out .. and was unwilling to offer appointment in any of their other clinics .

Fantastic experience: I have been here several times with Dr Ashkan and recently Dr Shah for a root canal. Both were very friendly, welcoming and made me feel at ease and were very clear with the treatment required and as I’m usually nervous at the dentist, they both made me overcome that as they were excellent. The reception were very friendly and welcoming too. I wlll stay at Pembroke dental Carlow and can’t recommend it enough. Thank you

Negative experience: Save your money and book with another clinic. Highly unprofessional service received and extremely rough to say the least. Overpriced and haven’t a clue what they are doing. I was in serious discomfort after my so called “cleaning” that I received. After making a complaint i received a call to say they would have me back in to get my teeth and gums checked but then just never returned my call, terrible customer service that don’t follow up on complaints. Obviously don’t care about the lack of service received and don’t value their customers. Staff don’t seem to know what they are doing and I question if they are even trained in the field they are practising in!

Negative experience: Very dear and overall an unplesant experience, I feel like quality has really fell off a cliff.

Fantastic experience: Went to Pembroke Dental Carlow today and saw Dr Slavi Naghev and his lovely Nurse. What a pleasant experience. I needed an extraction, the whole experience was so professional but friendly. They both put my mind at ease and it was over very quickly, overall a great team, Also, the Receptionist was very friendly and bubbly which calms you when you arrive. Top rating 10/10.

Negative experience: Wouldn't recommend. Constantly not having bookings on system when i arrive even though I book days in advance. I've also had fillings done here and I've had nothing but problems with them. One issue with a filling is fine, more than one is just too much of a coincidence. This place is infuriating. Sent from one consultation to the next only to be told something different. Absolute joke. I wouldn't recommend at all. Told a manager would call and no such thing. I've had fillings done in other places and I've never had a problem. Funny how it's only the ones I've had done at Pembroke.

Fantastic experience: I could not recommend Dr. Mehwish highly enough. I've been attending Pembroke for a number of years now and was always a very nervous patient with a huge fear of dentists, but Mehwish has changed all that as well as my confidence in my smile. I no longer fear the visit to the dentist because of gentle manner and experience Mehwish has. I'm now completely at ease when arriving and leaving my dental appointments.

Fantastic experience: I recently booked a cleaning with the dentist Ashkan. My appointment was easy to book online and the secretary was very friendly and helpful when I arrived. The waiting room at Granby Row is beautiful and makes you feel very relaxed. The dentist took me in on time and was very nice and put any nerves I had at ease. The appointment was over within 20 minutes. I will be booking my next appointment with Ashkan as a result of my experience.

Negative experience: Have you got a fear of the dentist? Then do NOT go here. Made me feel uncomfortable from start to finish and felt the dentist was very rude and condescending.

Fantastic experience: Had the pleasure of meeting Dr. Kerry Hennessy in the Pembroke Dental Carlow branch recently for a routine filling. As someone who hasn't been to visit a dentist in quite some time Dr. Hennessy gave me a warm welcome and got me relaxed in the chair, after my X-Rays were taken, he took the time to explain what my options were and what would be the best solution for me. Dr. Hennessy then proceeded to work away keeping me informed about what he was doing as it was happening. The results were so much better than I was expecting. My Sincere thanks to Dr. Hennessy for a job very well done, also to his assistant and to the reception staff. I would highly recommend Dr. Kerry Hennessy and the Pembroke Dental Carlow Branch.

Negative experience: My father (85 yrs old) attended this clinic for a denture repair. The initial consultation was fine, got measured up and was advised when his new denture would be ready for collection. It was also recommended to him to have his teeth cleaned prior to receiving his new denture,which he agreed to. On his return his new denture was handed to him in a plastic bag!! yes a plastic bag and he was sent on his merry way. There was no suggestion of fitting the new denture for size. When my father fitted the new denture himself at home he found that it didn't actually fit and he had to return to the clinic the next day. He was told that the dentist he had attended was not working that day and was asked if he would return, which he did not agree to he was evntually seen by a different dentist who was not very pleasant. My father had to return to this clinic yet again a few days later in an emergency situation as he had developed an infection in one of his teeth, his face was very swollen and very painful. Again he was not treated very well and had to plead his case for an emergency appointment. My father was finally treated and has now recovered. Overall a very poor service to an older person. Shoddy customer service to say the least. Realisticlally Zero star rating for sure.

Fantastic experience: Recently had my Invisalign off and I am extremely pleased with the results. Thanks to Dr. Raksha and the staff at Pembroke Dental for going above and beyond. It was a very professional process from first visit, check up appointments and until the day I got the Invisalign off especially as I prepared to move to Australia by organising my appointments before I left. I would highly recommend Pembroke Dental for anyone thinking about getting orthodontic treatment.

Negative experience: Worst service. Very unprofessional customer service and did not did what was required, they took the money and never done the service required. Also they booked us w8th different Dr that we did not ask, while we already confirmed 9ver the phone. Avoid going to this place.

Negative experience: Would not recommend this place to anyone went in for a filling they broke my tooth even more and left half of the broken tooth in my gums went back to them multiple times pleading for them to help cause I was in pain and they basically all but laughed at me telling me there was nothing wrong for months until went to a new dentist for a second opinion and i was right and it ended up getting infected it took nearly a year to get back to normal

Negative experience: the lady doctor was very rude to my child, because my child don't wanna do X-ray. Never back !!

Fantastic experience: All Good and very professional for a cleaning I had done.. Only suggestion I have is to ring them if you book online as a Non-Existing Customer, as you might end up in the wrong location for your appointment. Only a few mins apart, but still bit of a pain to have to jump back in car!

Fantastic experience: I cannot recommend Dr Nawaz enough - 10/10 for attention to detail, delivering incredible results. He completely transformed my smile - couldnt be happier with my experience from the whole team- including reception team and dental nurses!

Negative experience: I unfortunately got invisalign with this dentist. It has cost me a bomb and now that they have taken my money I can't get an appointment because the orthodontist is "winding down" and "only works an odd friday", which are all booked up surprise surprise. I called the receptionist who was extremely rude when I was telling her my treatment plan has been ruined because I can't get an apt. I then contacted another branch of Pembroke to lodge a complaint and was told a manager would be in contact and I never got the call I was promised. I have emailed them and surprise surprise got no response. Avoid at all costs, once they get your money they won't care about your teeth

Fantastic experience: First let me say I am terrified of dentists so when I had a broken wisdom tooth I was very apprehensive. I was treated very kindly from the start and all the options were explained to me in detail - including the possibility of a root canal! Eventually opted for an extraction - again, very nervous. Dr Bawi was so kind and took her time to explain exactly what would happen. So - local injections given - not bad and soon took effect. Felt a bit of pulling about and then she stopped and I thought 'oh no - complications!' Until she said ' well that's it, all done' About 15 mins total I couldnt believe it! Very little discomfort afterwards felt so silly being so woried about it. Thank you so much Dr Bawi and your delightful nurse for making it nothing to worry about.

Fantastic experience: Today I had the pleasure of a check up under Dr Pavly Hanna. What an absolute gentleman, very professional and very reassuring. For someone who doesn't like dental visits this one was an absolute pleasure. He is a very kind and caring guy and highly recommended. Also a very kind and caring assistant working with him. Fantastic experience: I am at the end of my retainers now and I’m very happy with my teeth . I wanted more retainers before I was finished completely and there was no problem with that they were straight on it . I always have a lovely chat with the receptionist and the staff have always been so polite and friendly. The last check up I was to have , Maria my dentist was so honest and genuine and suggested for me to give it another 10 days to get the best result possible especially after getting this far which I thought was so so kind of her as she could have just finished up with my treatment and not have to schedule me in again. With Maria I felt like if I had any question she knew in depth how to answer and help . Thanks again x

Fantastic experience: I’ve been a patient of Pembroke Dental since I got my braces in 2017. The staff are extremely welcoming and never leave you waiting long for your appointment to begin. The dentists and nurses associated with the practice are incredibly helpful and they always ensure that you remain comfortable throughout the entire process. Would highly recommend.

Negative experience: If you like your teeth, avoid this place. Non-experts work there. You will come up with a problem that they don't even solve, but they are looking for a way to withdraw money from you. In the end, they will send you to dental hygiene, where their worker will destroy not only your tooth fillings, but also healthy teeth. So, for me to avoid the arc. The worst experience I've ever had.

Negative experience: I went in for a braces consultation and didn't have a very good experience. Firstly the lady on reception was lovely. I couldn't fault her. However, I was on time for my appointment but after taking time off work to attend, I wasn't seen to for 20 minutes despite hearing all staff talking and laughing in the next room. As I was nervous enough going in (I am always when it comes to the dentist) I felt like I couldn't get out of there quick enough. The dentist examining me made me feel so bad about my teeth(Even though my teeth are not that bad, I am purely looking at braces for cosmetic reasons.) She was abrupt and ran through everything like lightening. It was all doom and gloom and I didn't feel comfortable at all. In the end she told me all the details of my consultation would be emailed to me but I have since not received an email. Either way I knew I wouldn't be going ahead purely based on my experience in the consultation. I couldn't get out of there quick enough honestly. I'm not one to leave bad reviews but when it's such a sensitive thing (going to the dentist) for most people I just feel the dentist in question should be a bit more understanding of this and I hope no one is made to feel how I was.

Fantastic experience: Just went through 4 months of hard work and I can't recommend Pembroke Dental highly enough. From day one, Dr Raphaelle was fantastic. Everything was explained to me clearly and I felt I was given the best advice as to what treatment plan to take. I also knew that if I ever needed to call or come in at short notice, it wouldn't be a problem. The only issue I had was dealt with in 24hrs. Everyone there was always very friendly and professional and I'd like to thank Dr Raphaelle and all at Pembroke for everything thing they done for me. I hope I never see any of you again and I mean that in the nicest possible way .

Negative experience: Arrived for appointment at 4.30pm. Got time off work and travelled 35 mins to Carlow. On arrival I was informed my appointment was cancelled at 9am but they failed to inform me. Very unprofessional company and not the first time to be disappointed with their services

Fantastic experience: Thank-you Kate Farrell for painlessly (well almost) extracting my 4 broken teeth stumps - and all in one setting. An expected torture made not nearly as bad as feared. Further to my review above... I have Parkinsons Disease and am in my late 70's; I needed extensive dental work - a dentist told me he would be unable to treat me that I would need to go to a dental hospital. The PD specialist told me as I did not have Deep Brain Stimulation system fitted, I should not need special dental considerations. I was recommended to try Ganby Dental in Carlow. I did and I was treated by Dr Farrell (above) and Darrelle Power. Darrelle was fantastic! No problem with working with me and did an excellent job.

Fantastic experience: I attend the dentist and physio at Pembroke. Great staff, always make you feel at ease from reception to the chair. Makes going to the dentist a lot easier and have never received such exceptional care from a physio, has me pain free for the first time in years.
